Caption Contest

Caption Contest is up, and this thread is for holding contests for pictures on this very site.

Okay, they won't really be contests, but that's not the point. You link to a picture you think you have a good caption for (and it doesn't have to relate to the trope, unlike the page captions), and post your caption. If you are replying to one, make sure to copy the link to the pic, and either give your own caption, or quote one you are voting for.

This is because we can't nest replies, so this would keep track of who is replying to what.

Of course discussion about this thread itself it welcome. Such as whether it's better to post pictures or just link to them.

Perhaps everyone could caption one pic, then after a week or less the person who posted the pic declares a winning caption, then it's open for anyone to post another pic for everyone to caption?

From the Global Warning page... I posted the pic and wrote the current caption, but I think it could be funnier.

Also, everything can be improved with more Yotsuba.

Edit: The little extra speech-balloon edge in the panel was starting to bother me, so I recropped the image (and changed the link on the Global Warning page to the new one). Also, thanks to Trombley for giving this round to me, although I only ninja'd him by a fourteen-second margin.
