R$95, though. There are games with ridiculous prices that we can't just... Even dream of playing. I like Final Fantasy but I'm not spending R$165.00 on a single game.

...Oh. Sorry. Well that changes things.
Ever considered getting a pegleg and an eyepatch? (If you know what I mean?)
Hey, would y'all recommend Owlboy on Switch? I know nothing about the game other than the fact that it looks gorgeous.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Been meaning to try that for a long time (but was waiting for Switch physical) and while I haven't tried it, it looks pretty good and I've only heard great things from friends who played it
"Leftover items still have value!"testing something, never mind me.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"My name is Arutema, and I am a 2d platformer (indie or otherwise) addict.
And I need to fill out my Switch wishlist.
Currently have Shantae Half Genie Hero, and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. On my radar are Shovel Knight, Mega Man (Classic) and Mega Man X collections.
What else should I add to wishlist? Physical or eshop releases ok.
Dragon Quest XI, enough said.
Dragon Quest XI is apparently over 100 hours long. I'm sure it's a great game, but myself and I'm sure many other gamers just don't have the time.
I'm lookin' for a weird experimental game from the 4th Gen to the 6th Gen.
Psychonauts might be a little late in that time window (late gen 6), but it fits the bill. From what I've heard, Grim Fandango does, too.
I think there's not a time Lethal League doesn't deserve a recommendation. It's a fighting game where the only way you can damage your opponent is by whacking an anti-gravity baseball at them. It's probably one of the simplest fighting games out there (well, minus Divekick), but it's massively satisfying, and it has a funky-fire OST to boot. It's also got a free weekend going on right now! You should probably hold on to your wallets, though, the Updated Re-release Lethal League Blaze is coming this Wednesday.

Did he not shit? Did he not DrerJ? He was only human, but yes, he was Chicken and waffles. Also, SquashiniKun, try out Frequency on the PS2. It's Harmonix's (Rock Band and early Guitar Hero) first game. It plays similar to their other works, but with the main caveat being that you can use your plain-old PS2 controller. It has a very dated early-2000's "hacker" look to it that's a bit charming, too.

Did he not shit? Did he not DrerJ? He was only human, but yes, he was Chicken and waffles.Time to revive this thread.
Can you guys recommend me some obscure Indie JRPG games that got uploaded on L Ps in Youtube?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."It's the Steam Autumn Sale. Anyone knows any good grog-lite strategy game to get? Something along the lines of Unity Of Command, Steel Panthers or maybe Wargame: Red Dragon - more complex than Company of Heroes but less technical than, say, Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations.
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)I would recommend Völgarr the Viking its a pretty entertaining game and Defenders Of Ekron if you want to try a shootemup, im still surprised that so little people had heard of these two games.
it is hard to see in the dark when your eyes are blinded by the lightAre there any good dungeon crawlers on the Switch?
I know about Labyrinth Of Refrain, but I already have it on PC.
Just watched Many a True Nerd play Birthdays the Beginning, which made me crave for a nice god game/ecology simulator. I miss Black and White and Star Wars: The Gungan Frontier. Are there any games recently that fit into that kind of genre?
Pizza tower is in development and its pretty cool.
also where's the pizza tower tv tropes page?
I guess i could take care of that
Travelling the world in my little flower pot.Question: Has anyone here played Ape Out yet?
It's not the kind of game I usually play, yet I find it oddly compelling. I'm thinking of getting it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHere's a game that I think is worthy of recognition (and a Tv T page):
It's called "Zero Deaths", and was made by an independent game developer over the course of 2 weeks as part of the challenge. After playing it for a bit (and following it's development livestreams) I can also confirm that it's got some good lore in it too.
As for tropes, here's some that I can think of almost instantly:
After the End
Recycled IN SPACE
Robot War/Killer Robot
No sense of energy
Catch-Phrase
The Cameo
Damsel in Distress
Nightmare fuel

I was interested at first. But when I searched for it, the first thing that stood out was "Pew Dew Pie Game". That killed my interest fast.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI'd recommend War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron, and Disney Infinity for mainstream gamers.
And for casuals, Wii Sports Resort.
Ys VIII is $60. Still expensive, but not as much as you're making it ought to be.
