Edit banned/Suspended - would like to edit again.

Indeed. I plan on improving! I genuinely plan on improving my behaviour as I try to get unbanned as well as afterwards if I get unbanned. I apologize for my behaviour. I will listen to other users when they give advice and/or instructions? What I will change in my behavior is that I will go into the Get Help With English thread more so that the tropes, when posted in the Hohenzollern Empire page will have no spelling errors, which was a major continuous error before I got banned. I plan to keep that to a minimum. Thanks for getting me back on track, Synchronicity! Finally, for the Trope Launcher Pad thing, I plan to wait for either a mod or a well known user to approve of the Trope before it gets put out.

Good question. This is the fourth time I am here for abrasive behaviour, and I myself am starting to sound like a fool for making that grand speech in 2021's appeal about it being my last chance when I am now here for the relapse I was exactly told to avoid.

That you are considering any positives since the last suspension, however, is enough for me to know that it's not incorrigible. I've said what I have to say about the other tropers, and I won't say them again; the feelings of frustration are now off my chest. I don't want to leave the site with people whispering "Good riddance!" behind my back, so I'll do my part and keep the messages cool, as I should've all along.

"Where can you hold these conversations, according to Edit War?" Maybe in the Discussion page?

• Face on a Milk Carton:
  • Apparently, Sherry Bobbins was missing in 1984.
  • In The Simpsons, Uter's face was seen on the side of one after he was killed during a field trip. He later showed up alive again as a result of the show's Negative Continuity.
    • Another episode had Milhouse's face on the carton before it was pasted over with a picture of Mr. Burns' bear Bobo.
• Room Disservice:
  • Played with in an episode of NCIS where Tony and Ziva are required to go undercover as married assassins. Since they're being watched by the villains, their own agents surreptitiously drop off necessary surveillance equipment in the guise of room service.
    • In the same episode, a pretty female FBI agent does the same thing disguised as a maid, much to Tony's appreciation.
• Gone Horribly Right:
  • In several early U.S. Acres strips, Orson uses hypnotism on Wade in order to remove his fears. It works all too well, and Wade goes from being a lovable coward to shortly being a fearless and reckless Jerkass who fears absolutely nothing.
    • Roy decides to play a prank on Wade by dangling a fake spider in front of a napping Wade before waking him up. Wade, scared by the spider, proceeds to scream... only for the scream to travel across the Earth before striking Roy from behind.

@Synchronicity My argument was that God either told or informed the authors what to write. Also I did not realize that talking about religious beliefs on a thread meant for talking about religion was against the rules. If that is the cause then I apologize for misunderstanding the forum's purpose. I was intending to be civil in the discussion. I am also sorry about the spamming, After someone mentioned that I was spamming I said I would stop so I didn't think that would be thumped since I stopped.

Edit: I got a message and I can't read it because I am suspended. So if that was from you or another mod I cannot read it.

Synchronicity Certainly! I feel like it would have been better if I brought it to the attention of the discussion page, a private message to the person who first removed the example, or disputed it on the forums. I could have also used Ask The Tropers or asked staff about it. It might be more productive to use those methods going forward.

@Synchronicity Well, about the Zero Context Examples and the examples that are misuse, they seem essentially the same issue. To find good examples that fit is what I like doing most (actually, some owners in the Launch Pad thanked me for them). The only Zero Context/misuse issue I remember to have posted (aside some mistakes in one of my pages) were some Tom and Jerry stuff in an Animal Characteristic Launch Pad. The readers complained that my examples had nothing to do with the context, so I decided to stay away because I clearly was not understanding the context of the post. The other Zero Context/misuse thing I remember is that I have posted many things that did not fit in my Beauty and the Beast of Paradise Lost page. I checked recently and some were a little... embarassing, to say the least.

In my defense, last year I was suffering with anxiety and depression because my mother was terribly ill and I had to take care of her and the entire house by myself. As much as tvtropes has nothing to do with that, these things... leak on one's behaviour, eventually. You can't help. This site was one of the rare comforts I had, but I guess I became compulsive towards it, which probably caused the posting slippage and the misuses. That's the best explanation I can give, asides my apologizes for the disturbance and the promise to try and become more cautious.

I am stable now. Things went better. Hope this confession of a personal issue won't keep me banished for good. But at least I would like to have a second chance to fix up the Beauty and the Beast of Paradise Lost page issues and add what is missing, since the manga has been finished. Is that possible?

About the English, I'll check on the link later to see what I can do to improve. I have always used a dictionary to write as best as possible, but apparently I'll have to find a better one. And the other reason I want to return is specifically to fix up some grammatic errors.

~Synchronicity I've taken some time to review the linked page, and I have since apologized to the Troper whose notifiers I neglected in the past. I have no other questions regarding the policy, so I'm open to a review of the rule's applications as you mentioned.

What I meant to say was that where it talks about Paula Abdul should go underneath the trope As Himself written with two bullet points like the other two examples.

• As Himself:
  • Paula Abdul appears in the film first performing in a concert and later she invites the guys to a party.
  • Jaden Smith appears when Sal shows his tattoo of Smith.
  • Joey Fatone appears at the end of the film at Miami Beach.

@Synchronicity I would like to sincerely apologize for my copy and paste plagiarism, I will use this as a learning experience. Once my suspension is over I’m going to be taking a long break from editing on TV Tropes to review How to Create a Work's Page and prevent making Zero-Context Examples to prevent repeating my mistakes again.

Hello, this is, hopefully, an appeal for me to come back to TV Tropes.

I've made apologies before for my behavior. I was needlessly provocative and attention-seeking and I wasn't making any contributions to the topics discussed at the forums other than pointless bickering. I was suspended twice for that. The first time, I should have known better but I was too arrogant to realize I needed to take a breath and proofread my posts. Instead, I wanted to get the last word without thinking of the other person in the crossfire. I assumed I was invincible. I got what I deserved. What was also inexcusable was me attempting several times to evade my suspension by using alt-accounts and trying to start fresh, as if the past didn't happen. There are no defenses for that. I screwed up and I only soured myself to you all for my actions.

I make it no secret that I want to come back. To have civil conversations on the forums, to edit the pages with the utmost facts, to never try to provoke a user just because I could. Even if it doesn't seem like I'm doing that, I'll proofread them to make sure I got my point across without insults nor abuse. I don't ask for special treatment, I know I'm not better than anyone. I know this reads a lot like my past apologies and you don't know if I'll keep my promise this time. That's very understandable. I just want one more chance to prove I can be better here. I understand if I don't get the appeal and I apologize again for my past actions. I just want to come back.

Also, sorry for using the Contact TV Tropes page a lot. I forgot to use this page.

Well, I did try talking on Image Pickin, and I at least learned what the deal with movie posters is, so I now understand how that works now

Have I done enough?

I noticed that I've been suspended from checking or sending messages for a while, and I'm not sure if there's a glitch or if it's because it was due to a tussle with another (now-suspended) troper a while back. I'm not surprised if it's the latter, and I heavily apologize and promise it won't happen again.

I saw I was suspended for edit warring on the Bleach YMMV page due to readding something that was in discussion but a consensus was not reached on, which qualifies as edit warring.

Apologies for doing so, I had assumed that with the topic not going anywhere and nobody commenting further that there wasn't an issue with readding it after several months had passed, especially with the only person directly disagreeing seemingly dropping out of the topic. I'll make sure in a situation like this to at least follow up and confirm if there is a consensus.

Edit: I see that I did not respond to someone in that ATT, so that's on me for not finalizing discussions on it!

I just had my editing and message privileges suspended and would like them reinstated.

I think the editing privileges were because I added Slapstick Knows no Gender to a page, which I have since learned no longer exists as a trope. If it's because I didn't immediately change it to Slapstick, I was in the middle of making more edits to the page with that included, but the lock expired as I went to click on Save and then I was locked out of editing the page.

I'm not sure why my message privileges were suspended, as GastonRabbit messaged me about the above and I responded, noting that I was in the midst of making multiple edits before I got locked out of the page. I then received another message stating that suspensions aren't dealt with via PM, and was then locked out of my messages upon asking "May I ask why I was suspended?" - which was simply a request for clarity on the matter before I came here.

I just had my editing privileges suspended. I'm fairly certain it's because I changed the wording on the Dead Weight page. The page had several mentions of the word "obese", which is a slur, and contributes to the misleading idea that the BMI is an accurate indicator of health.

While attempting to edit the article Bad Luck Charm, I was informed I was suspended from editing pages. Could I get the reason why?

Apparently I was suspended, but I have absolutely no idea why. I try to keep my edits free of Word Cruft, I use the preview button and I make sure that my stuff is formatted correctly. The only thing I can think of is that sometimes I make a lot of relatively small edits in quick succession, which I know is cringeworthy and clutters up the history, but I only do it because I remember something else I need to add after I've already edited, and I also don't know if I do it enough to warrant a suspension. Whatever I did, I would like to deeply and humbly apologize, as I thought I had a full grasp of the site's etiquette but clearly I do not, and will gladly incorporate whatever I have missed into my regular editing process.

• Addendum: In retrospect: it probably has something to do with me adding an image to the Corrupted Contingency article without consulting Image Pickin that also didn't make sense without the added context of the caption. I had my doubts about this image, but my desire to get any kind of reference to Dead Estate on a mainline trope page blinded me to any faults it might have. If that's the problem, then I am truthfully very embarrassed and will not add any images to main namespace pages without consulting Image Pickin again.
