Keep Until Better Image Suggested imo; the current is already concisely showing sexy with cleavage + sticking out her chest and butt. "Librarian" is also less clear in 1.1.

Keep current the Image Sources page says it's a painting called "Quiet Please Librarian" by Richie Fahey
Then maybe add that to the caption.

I do think the current is more illustrative, however it's small and low-quality.

Does the painting have to be in the public domain for us to use it?
If it's not, we need the copyright owner's (typically the artist's) permission, like with Noble Bird of Prey.
How much of the work we are using also plays a factor. Take all of the previous suggestions, which were just screencaps (1 frame) of TV shows or scenes/portraits from video games, and compare to the current, which uses the entire piece.

So we ask for the copyright owners permission. We just have to get into contact with them.

Incidentally going on his website it's between a photo and a painting, looks like he takes photographs then hand colours them. At least he describes himself as a "hand colorer of photographs".
Of the other options I like 5.3 (Yomiko lying down amongst books) the best but I still am not sure it's exactly right.
Actually though reading the trope it seems to be about a specific "look" (hair in a bun, conservatively dressed) so I think some of the examples on the page don't count? I'd suggest the time Empowered went undercover as one to draw out Idea Man as that's the sort of woman he's into but she might be too skimpily dressed to count?

Ohh, how about this one?
It has all the stereotypical visual cues, including the obligatory "be quiet" shushing and distracting nametag.
I also like the random vampire and Frankenstein Monster. They add Head-Turning Beauty to the mix.

I don't hate the current but I feel that one showing the before and after they take off their frumpy glasses could work better. So I do have some suggestions from Saturday Night Live:
