Pull current regardless of replacement for not fitting the revised definition.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Can't help but think of this:
Now cue Frozone's rant with Samuel L. Jackson's voice.
Suggestion
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Well, the trope has been redefined to be about a character who face in-universe colorism/discrimination for their darker skin tone so a potential image needs to reflect that

Macron's notesThe suggestion isn't any better, so to that. The trope is about characters who are discriminated against by other characters because of their dark skin color, which neither the current nor the suggestion shows.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Looked through the on-page examples that were left after The Purge, and the only real possibility would be the example from Dumbing of Age if somebody can find the source. (The Booty Royale example is usable in terms of format, but it includes a rather over-the-top rape threat directed at the protagonist so I'm against using it.)
3 with the caption, "They made me a white guy?" It is a valid example: the image on the right is an in-universe cartoon that lightened Frozone's skin, much to his offense.
Keet cleanupIt really isn't. It fits the old definition, but it's not Frozone directly being subjected to discrimination.

Macron and I already explained why it isn't a valid example.
I'd appreciate it if folks would read the revised description (as well as posts commenting on what was changed) before voting on an image.
Edit: I'm tempted to vote BUPKIS on this one, but I'll hold off to see if anyone finds something that illustrates the revised definition.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I think a black person having a lighter skin in a cartoon may be not an example of discrimination, but it is still very much an example of colorism
oh hey how are you doing?Discrimination is required by the definition, though.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The first thing that came to mind is this Family Guy screencap (specifically from the episode "Turban Cowboy" according to a quick Google search) that became a meme a while back. Can't find a screenshot without the station ident in the corner.
Be kind. That image (a meme of it?) is on Profiling.

Macron's notesAh, wasn't aware of that, sorry.
Be kind. It's also not demonstrating the trope either. This trope is a type of colorism, where darker skin individuals receive prejudice compared to lighter skinned parts of their own race.
There’s also a watermark on the image.

Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last?I could use the Frozone image in the Adaptational Colorism TLP draft I started to catch some of the examples that were removed from But Not Too Black after the redefinition.
No objections to using that image for that draft.
As for this trope, my position is still pull regardless of replacement, but I think my idea of voting BUPKIS was hasty. If nobody finds a good image soon, I'd be fine with closing with no pic for now without making this BUPKIS. (Not a mod statement, especially because I don't usually moderate IP anyway.)
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I think we should change the image on Profiling to 14, since the current is edited. The station bug isn't a dealbreaker.
Keet cleanupI'll go for that.
I'm also fine with that
Be kind.Moot point, I was able to find a version without the station bug.
Agreed with the suggested change for Profiling's image.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
But Not Too Black has been redefined by the Trope Repair Shop to cover In-Universe cases of colorism rather than colorism by the entertainment industry. As such, the current page image (shown) no longer fits the definition in my opinion.
