I could maybe see this being retooled into a broader and less negative "artistry dissonance" trope, but it may be better to start that from scratch. So I'm leaning cut unless/until I see a better suggestion.

The problem: They Wasted A Perfectly Good Line Art, as discovered by this ATT
, is seriously suffering in wicks, with 20 total off-page wicks since 2008. On top of that, the definition (in animation/art, when the drawing is great but the coloring isn't so good) appears to exist largely to complain about perceived poor coloring in animation/art, which could be too subjective to be tropeworthy. The title is also a poor snowclone of the other "They Wasted" tropes.
The proposed solution: Taking into consideration the definition and wick starvation problems, I am in favor of a cut. I don't see "bad coloring with good linework" as a concept that we really need, as it is IMO an inherent complaining magnet, and wick starvation is cut material anyway.
