Yarding sounds good.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Yarding is fine, this is definitely a trope.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFling it to the yard.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWhat does yarding mean? This is a legitimate trope, I just don’t know what yarding means in terms of wiki speak.
Why waste time when you can see the last sunset last? It's a fairly new term. It means to cut and add to the Trope Idea Salvage Yard so someone in the future can retry it in the TLP.
Edit: We might actually want to add "Yard" to the Glossary.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThe Salvage Yard was created at least partially because TRS used to have a nasty habit of sending cut tropes back to TLP without anyone sponsoring the drafts. The Salvage Yard gave us an alternative way to keep track of good ideas that were poorly executed.
Edit: Also, "Yard" and "Yarding" are now in the Glossary.

Macron's notesI copied the page's contents to Sandbox. One Last Fling and added it to the Salvage Yard. I also posted a notice on the discussion page.

This trope has existed since 2008, but there are only 20 wicks. There only appear to be two uncrosswicked on-page examples, which don't really seem to have context. That means Starving per Wick, so it's not performing well enough. I think this can be yarded if someone feels like trying.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)
