I turns out The Great Politics Messup wasn't tagged, either (I originally intended to copy the tag code from there, only to discover that there was no tag to copy). Anyway, both that and Dewey Defeats Truman are now tagged.

Edit: Cleared up the wording of the rename option because I accidentally wrote it and the disambiguation option in ways that contradicted each other; the latter states that it is not mutually exclusive with renaming. That was the intention the entire time; the part about disambiguating in the rename option wasn't supposed to be there, and was only supposed to say that it's mutually exclusive with merging with another trope. (I would have corrected this sooner, but I wasn't home at the time.)

Sorry if this should go to IP, but Failed Future Forecast doesn’t currently have an image, so perhaps the one that’s currently on Dewey Defeats Truman could go there if DDT is merged.

That's a pretty good question for the site in general: If, when merging tropes together, the merged trope has no image, but one of the components does, can that image just be added to the merged trope as part of the merging process, or would it still have to be approved by Image Pickin'?

Failed Future Forecast has no IP notice, so we're good to move the image on DDT over along with the DDT examples.

In hindsight I kind of dislike the title of Dewey Defeats Truman, as Truman's re-election was also famous (perhaps even more so) for being a falsely Assumed Win for his opponents, even providing its page image.

Yeah, in hindsight the title is not indicative of the trope, since it was a real life publication that jumped the gun, not a fictional work. I see value in this merge.

Dewey Defeats Truman being a bad name is kind of a moot point since it's being merged with Failed Future Forecast alongside The Great Politics Messup. The name will presumably only live on as a redirect to keep external links from breaking (as opposed to how The Great Politics Messup is becoming a disambiguation page between Failed Future Forecast and UsefulNotes.Cold War).

• The Great Politics Mess Up has 765, and the disambiguation hasn't been enacted.

We also should do some cleanup of examples. E.g. the Back to the Future Part II examples belong to the more specific trope I Want My Jetpack.
