The tweet is gone.
Gotta say, a great publicity stunt to make sure people were as fast as Sonic to see the announcement!
That being said, Netflix wasn't fast enough to stop IGN or Comic Book Resources from reporting the news.

Ew, Man of Action...
2022? I don't think this topic will be very active soon.
What's wrong with Man of Action?
Main thing that put a damper on their name is being the lead writers for the first two seasons of Ultimate Spider-Man, and they'd later go on to make Mega Man: Fully Charged where They Changed It, Now It Sucks! is in full force. (And that's on top of Ben 10 constantly fluctuating in quality.)
That all said, Ben 10 and Fully Charged both have their followings and Generator Rex is fantastic so... there's enough reasons to be optimistic their take on Sonic will be decent, too.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaDidn't they also make Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes? That was a pretty cool show.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I just want the Chaotix. And don't cheap out and just give us Vector like Sonic Boom did, give us all three of those guys.
They weren't the ones who started it. They took over around the time that the first story arc of the second season (their version of Secret Invasion) finished.
Notably, a lot of those eps were slightly lower quality, but since EMH basically shat gold, it didn't affect things too much.
One Strip! One Strip! They were building up to an arc about Surtr, but you know what happened and instead we got Assemble.
Wake me up at your own risk.Man of Action has their ups and downs. Their Marvel shows were bad, but that was marvel was aiming for a very young audience and wanted to cash in on the MCU. Unless this show is a tiein to the Sonic movie, we don't really have to worry about that.
Mega Man: Fully Charged was rather a fresh take in my opinion, I just wish we could've seen Wily's decent to villainy.
On topic, I hope the Sonic series is more serialized than the other Sonic shows.
Man of Action brought Ben 10, Generator Rex, AEMH, and Big Hero 6 The Series.
Man Of Action only worked on the later episodes of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. They didn't create the show. They created the Big Hero 6 comics, but not the 2014 movie or 2017 tv show.
Have you been reading the Fully Charged comics? They're basically telling the stories they would've done if they had gotten a second season. In them, it is revealed that Bert Wily's grandpa is THE Dr. Wily, who is the main villain of the story arc.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm actually excited about this news! I just hope that this new Sonic cartoon actually has story arcs and delve more into the characters' inner thoughts. It's been a long time since we last has a Sonic show that delved into story arcs.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!It probably won't. Sonic's too used to comedy by now.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Hopefully it's not like Man of Action's Megaman show.

Thousand Dreamers, Watashi wa Saikyo, and Believe slap so hard.I remember it was said that Fully Charged was essentially the result of Capcom giving Man of Action carte blanche on the content of the series, which from what I can tell is pretty normal of Capcom.
I'm not quite as sure SEGA will let them have that much control, given their infamously nearly draconian mandates on the franchise.
My hopeless dream is that it would be just Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) adaptation.

The Ken Penders lawsuits have killed that dream.
What's this lawsuit about?
The reboot version would be fine too.
Welp, I figured it would happen.
Netflix has picked up a new CGI Sonic cartoon, co-produced by Sega, WildBrain and Man of Action.
