Personality (I'm keeping his backstory a secret for now): On the surface, he seems like your typical side character desperately trying to be the hero: energetic to a fault and trying to help whenever he can, for better or for worse.    However, if you piss him off enough for him to take off his signature bright yellow jacket, you're in for a shock—his true colors are quite a bit more sinister. He's cold, ruthless, and calculating; and he only cares for his own sense of justice, whether others view it as right or wrong.    If, even then, you choose to befriend him, you'll be rewarded with a fearsome ally.
Distinguishing Abilities: Self-taught in all manner of guns, from simple firearms to military-grade assault rifles.
Other: Has a younger brother named Kyotaro who's a mortician. Loves him fiercely. Do not diss Kyotaro if you want to stay in Masahiro's good graces.

Name: Ryo Nakamura

Appearance: He has short, light brown hair with a beanie and carries a communication headset around his neck. He wears a white shirt with a plaid blue sweater, as well as forest green jeans.

Gender/Pronouns: Male [he/him pronouns]

Backstory and Personality: Since he was a young boy, he had a fascination with flight. He once dreamt to be a pilot, but after learning more about the industry, he realised that being an air traffic controller suits him better. Now, he's training to be one in a specialized academy. | He's pleasant to be with and talkative. He can be a bit aloof and even brash at times, but he's not the rudest of people.

Distinguishing Abilities: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a great intuition. Pretty much a lot of the skills needed to be an ATC.

Other: If this were Danganronpa, he might just be the SHSL/Ultimate Air Traffic Controller; He's around his late teens, so presumably around 17-19 years of age.

Name: Steybarque "Stay Back" Hepburn

Appearence: A thin, pale, reedy looking woman in a lab coat, with brown hair, prematurely streaked with grey. Of average height. Her eyes are always staring from deep sockets. She wears glasses. She perpetually looks nervous.

Pronouns: She/They.

Backstory: She was formerly an employee at a munitions plant, working on improving explosive yield. She earned her nickname due to the frequent, (though usually non-fatal) accidents she caused. After getting fired for accidently killing a co-worker due to improper following of safety procedures, she decided to start making meth instead, to cover her costs. She was marginally successful at that, at least enough to stay afloat and keep her tracks covered. Ultimately, she panicked and left the business behind when she felt her rivals and the police closing in. She managed to evade capture and murder, and tried to start a new life as an employee at a demolitions firm. She was brought here after being rejected.

Personality: She looks nervous, and that's because she often is. She functions adequately in society, presenting a friendly face, but in practice, she's actually quite ruthless, and has no regard for the lives of others. Her plans sometimes go awry, but overall, she hasn't managed to stay one step ahead of everyone after her for so long without some skill in planning. (Though luck and excessive paranoia have all too often been a part of it.) She gave up on any sense of morality years ago, but can at least present a veneer of decency when talked to. In contrast to her planning skill, she is an accomplished procrastinator, and frequently cuts corners in work where she doesn't feel at risk.

Distinguishing Abilities: She's a chemist by trade, though she never liked the work much. Her expertise in knowing how to create noxious fumes and explosions is, while not unmatched, certainly unusual. She's also learned to cover her tracks well, from her brief time spent as a meth producer.

Other: She tends to give a different first name each time she's asked, but Steybarque is the most commonly selected, and the one on her documents. She's in her late twenties, and college was her least favorite experience.

Name: Collin Fairchild

Appearance:

Gender/Pronouns: Male (He/Him)

Backstory and Personality:

As the youngest and only son of the Fairchild family, he feels out-of-place, especially around his four elder sisters. He's naïve and curious, and often wary of danger and perils. He doesn't like violence much, but he'll muster up his courage if the situation presses him. On the other hand, he's a deductive youth interested in solving cases.

Distinguishing Abilities: A young detective who can investigate things and try to make connections.

Other:

• He has a deep-seated fear of water, getting coated, and sinking because of an incident as a young boy which traumatized him.

Name: Shizuka Eto
Appearance: Shizuka is slightly taller than an average girl, and has a standard build. She has brown eyes, black hair tied in a long ponytail, and a mole on her left cheek. She wears a khaki longcoat, a pink shirt and skirt, a black tie, brown boots, and black tights. She also has a digital watch on her right wrist.
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Backstory and Personality: Shizuka was born in the city of Kitsuki, in the Ōita prefecture of Japan. From an early age, she showed proficiency in archaeology and anthropology, to the point of getting an essay published in a respected journal by age 14. However, just months later, she was forced to leave home due to reasons she doesn't want to disclose, and started travelling Japan, and later, the world. She has now done so for two whole years. Shizuka is a restless individual, with a thirst for knowledge that cannot be quenched. She is eager to share her knowledge with others, and considers ignorance to be the worst flaw one can have. She also hates being looked down on.
Distinguishing Abilities: Shizuka has a keen eye for detail, and is physically stronger than average, both of which stem from archaeological fieldwork. She has conversational knowledge of many languages that are currently spoken, and is fluent in Japanese, English, and Korean.
Other: She is banned from Tokyo National Museum, Meisei University, and the Vatican. All three bannings happened within 2 days of each other.

Appearance: Looks like TM Awe, but with long hair and rosy cheeks, and with a bright, shiny body instead of a shadowy one.

Gender/Pronouns: He/Him/They/Them/She/Her, prefers He/Him but doesn't care

Backstory and Personality: Who knows his backstory? His personality is warm and comforting, and he's very sanguine and idealistic. He plays fair during murdergames, even when he's about to die. He's mostly calm, and loves his life.

Backstory and Personality: A Senior at Seven Sisters High School, Tatsuya is masculine and a lone wolf, but also a bit of a loner and pretty awkward.
Distinguishing Abilities: His Persona, Vulcanus, is very fire oriented in it's abilities.

Name: Barry Benson
Appearance: Short, dark brown hair, blue eyes, wears black pants and a striped black and yellow sweater. Wears fake wings that are way too small to allow him to fly.
Gender/Pronouns: A guy who uses he/him pronouns.
Backstory and Personality: Barry was expected to follow the route of every other person in his small company town; work in the honey processing business. But he desiredmore. So, with his saxophone, he went out into the big world to see what else was out there for someone like him. He's enthusiastic, and a bit of a flirt. He talks like this.
Distinguishing Abilities: He is the ULTIMATE JAZZ MUSICIAN!!!!! He also is an aspiring stand up comedian. With those two combined, he has bardic abilities such as "giving someone psychic damage with a vicious insult, like YOUR MOM" or "inspiring someone with his cool music".
Other: In his high school, Barry was a straight-B student. His parents were so proud.

Name: Stephen Locke
Appearance: (this is the only ref I have of him, bear with me)
Gender/Pronouns: Male, uses he/him
Backstory and Personality: Stephen is a 16-year-old boy who lives in Slivermoor, England with his brother and mother. One day, he comes across a time-traveling device called a Tick Tock at a marketplace and showed to his friends. He wanted to use this device to travel back in time to prevent the tyrannical government from ever going into power. This, of course, fails and now is on a journey to defeat them once and for all. Stephen is a brash, rebellious, loud and sometimes a worried young man. He cares for his younger twin brother despite the fights he gets into. One of his main Berserk Buttons is people underestimating his true power as a warlock despite being terrible at offensive magic.
Distinguishing Abilities: Basic Defensive Magic, Shield Creation, Hand to Hand Combat, Leadership, & Healing Magic.
Other: Uses gray text and could be the Ulitmate Warlock if this was Danganronpa.

Name: Ruby Ramirez
Appearance: Dark skin. Freckles. Black pixie cut with a white forelock. Green compound eyes.
Gender/Pronouns: Female; She/Her
Backstory and Personality: She's a Human/Hesperian hybrid, created through genetic engineering and in-vitro fertilization, and was created as part of a peace mission between Earth and the Hesperian Empire. Raised on Earth. Once she realized she wanted to understand where she came from, she found her way into science and never looked back. She's also big on building bridges between communities, and is fascinated by different cultures, human and alien alike.
Distinguishing Abilities: Ultimate Biochemist! Oh, and she can see ultraviolet light.

Appearance: A brown female dog with the body structure and mind like a human.
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Backstory and Personality: Very nice, brave. Chaotic Good. Easily Distracted, Mama Bear to kids. Amazing sense of smell and hearing. (Backstory mainly unknown unless you ask).
Distinguishing Abilities: Good at driving, smart, good with weapons, good runner.
Other: Likes belly rubs. Posts in "Brown". (She is 16, 2 years before meeting Ren and the main events of That Dog.)

Also, I too would like to update by just saying that I didn't know that there was a brown, and If I did know, I would've used it. Now that I know there is a brown, Cass talks like This.

Name: Pamela Juana Delgado

Gender/Pronouns: Female, She/Her

Backstory and Personality: Pamela is a Mexican chef with a very short temper and a habit of chasing out rude or dirty people out of her restaurant with her frying pan. Despite her agressiveness, her restaurant has a reputation of having great food and being really clean. She's the firstborn of two chefs and the older sister to twins Jose and Simon and quickly became sous-chef of her family restaurant when she was 10. However, at 13 her mother died in a car accident and Pamela developed a fear of vehicles, along with being given the title of Sous Chef after her father developed a heart disease. Despite her short temper almost leading to the restaurant closing twice, Pamela managed to pull through and her restaurant still recieves 5 stars. She has a secret, however. Ever since the giant robots known as Gheists started appearing, she has been taking care of them with the magical abilities given to them after the first Gheist appeared. Pamela, defends their town from Gheists among many other things

Distinguishing Abilities: Pamela is known as the Ultimate Chef for a reason. Her abilities include cooking, knife-combat and running Also known under her alter ego Pan Pan as the Ultimate Magical Girl. Her abilities include Heat resistance, ability to summon magic cooking utensils and healing food

Name: Theodore Sticks

Appearance: Tall and gangly, looks like an average 15-year old. Wears a police cap and uniform despite not being an official officer yet. Has sandy brown hair.

Gender/Pronouns: He/Him

Backstory and Personality: Theodore “Teddy” Sticks, ever since his mother was killed at a young age, has set out to be a paragon of justice. He enrolled in a police academy when he was 13, and was top of his class for a while. He can be a bit pretentious about his values at times, but his heart is in the right place.

Distinguishing Abilities: Theodore, the Ultimate Police Officer can get to places relatively quickly, as a side effect of being trained to chase down criminals. He has a nightstick, handcuffs, and a taser for when things get especially ugly. He’s decently book smart, as well.

Other: Nothing that I can think of right now. This may be subject to change as the game progresses.

• Distinguishing Ablities: Mafuyu is an Ultimate ??? (...well, not really Super High-School Level—we’ll get into that can of worms later) a.k.a the codeword for “Vaguely Plot Relevant Mystery Man”, so he doesn’t have much to flaunt in this department. He does seem to have a strange aptitude for getting things out of people, though.

• Backstory and Personality: After serving as the 41st President of the United States, Bush, Sr. thought he could return to a life of comfort. As the last one-term President, he feels like something of a disappointment to his family, specifically his former boss Ronald, and his son George W. Not Jeb though. So, he faces things with a maturity and age yet also a level of insecurity.
• Distinguishing Abilities: He can jump twelve feet up into the air, making him the Ultimate High Jump-Man. He also has heels of steel to compensate for his jumping ability.
• Other: He has a miniature Dan Quayle in his pocket as a pet.
