Sandbox for this Project: TLP Adoption Drive
Per Let's Improve the TLP
, this project thread aims to tackle good-condition drafts (ie. a solid concept, a good description, and a decent number of examples) that have been declared Up for Grabs, either directly by their sponsor or via the two-month rule. These drafts ideally just need some more TLC by a willing and capable sponsor before launch.
Feel free to bring drafts that you think could be adoptable to the Sandbox. This thread is for the purposes of discussion regarding the sandbox, as well as existing drafts — whether they are good-quality enough to be adoptable, getting them adopted, and what needs to be done about them before launch. (Unworkable and low-quality drafts should be brought to the TLP Discard Project instead.)

Alright, the one that's most familiar to me is Prized Possession Giveaway, as I've definitely seen it many times (even on works that aren't listed there yet, such as The Simpsonsnote and the first X-Men movie). To be sure one more time, can I adopt this one? Earlier this month, I had added a post to a not-yet launched trope that hadn't received an update from its original poster since 2015, after it was recommended to me as fitting the description of a trope I was looking for, and shortly thereafter (not realizing all the rules regarding updating a trope in the Launch Pad) added that content to the draft, along with some style fixes.
The guy who initially posted this trope hasn't been seen since 2015 (according to his edit history and a search of forum users), so... would it be possible for me to take responsibility for it?

By the way, since the TLP History has been fixed, I found out that there's the TLP Salvage List, and it's also been fixed. If you want to grab of discard certain drafts, head over to the Salvage List.

I recently adopted The Teapot Pose, and it needs more examples (as of this writing, there are only 6 examples) along with a new image (or a transparent version of the current one, since it's not transparent).

Hey, can I adopt Alternate History - Confederate History? I want to adopt it for two reasons:
1. It's a history trope (even if it's of the Alternate History type). I'm a history nerd, so I'll like to see an extra history trope or two here (I even drafted and launched Historical Domain Superperson).
2. If I recall correctly, this is a common alternate history story premise, so it's a valid trope.

Hello, first time in this thread.
I found this TLP project The Great Serpent which was last edited by the person who launched it three months ago. According to the rules, it's currently Up For Grabs, but it hasn't been added in the sandbox. I want to adopt it - what should I do?

Can anybody think of more examples (with context!) for The Teapot Pose? There's only 8 of them on the draft, and I can't think of any more.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the trope (just looking at the name, I thought that it was about people making a gesture of insightful thinking while sipping a cup of tea; I would have recalled an example from Girls und Panzer in that case).

Not on my part. If the original sponsor is offering its adoption to you, then go ahead.
I am interested in adopting this draft Like Presumed Flop and Quietly Cancelled, I see this as having potential, it has more hats than bombs, and the last activity was in March 2021. I would like to expand it to include stuff like genres and mediums, but Golden Age already exists as a disambiguation page... but I digress, and I think that there is enough material for creators alone as is.
