Could be disambiguated as Literature.Hell Fire 1956.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Maybe Literature.Hell Fire Isaac Asimov, if we want to be more specific.
Rawr. It's one of those cases where the custom title applies to one capitalization:
Markup | Display |
{{Hellfire}} | Hellfire |
HellFire | Hellfire |
I vaguely recall this being the reason I needed to move Film.CODA 2021 from Film.CODA and Main.Coda so just checkin'.
Film.Crime Story needs to be moved to Film.Crime Story 1993 and Series.Crime Story needs to be moved to Series.Crime Story NBC if we do not want subpages to collide. We can keep the original links as redirects for now.
I guess?

Rawr.Alternatively, Series.Crime Story 1986. Its run was short enough that the year won't cause any problems.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Laconic.Balls Of Steel indicates we need to disambig Series and Video Game?
Trivia.Hex indicates we need to split all 4 things?

YMMV indicates the works need to be disambig-ed but not sure on the names.

Fanfic.Revenge to Fanfic.Revenge One Piece
Machinima.Revenge to Machinima.Revenge Halo
Music.Revenge to Music.Revenge Band
Series.Revenge to Series.Revenge 2011

CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesAt least Bands are easy. Unless some other Band has taken the name too. It's a obvious "edgy?" name? Full of violence and anger?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Actually that is true, let me see if there is any more.
Actually there are a bunch of other One Piece fanfics named Revenge but the author's name Lord Stingdingdingdingdingworth is to long to use as a disambig so I have no idea what to do.
CM Sandboxes, MB Sandboxes(Lord) Stingdingdingdingdingworth is only ~35 characters. It should be fine. The limit is 64, after all.
...
We need to disambig The Wall at some point. The Wall 2017 is causing issues with Film. The Wall, and there's a Series.
And YMMV.Cobalt
And Outlander
And Empire

I also couldn't find any other band named Revenge

CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesMain. All Ghouls School and ComicBook. All Ghouls School are colliding. Would All Ghouls School IDW be a good name change for the comic?
Great idea.
Rawr.Literature.Fudge and UsefulNotes.FUDGE have a custom title collision.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Freeform Universal Donated (later, Do-it-yourself) Gaming Engine
5 words ~7 letters long. We could expand the Useful Notes / Tabletop Game.
Literature. The Circle Trilogy uses all common color book titles. How do we disambiguate the books? Just by year?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576That looks like a solution in search of a problem.
- The page itself is not so long that the books need to be split away, especially with all the ZCE on it.
- It looks like they are published with subtitles on various outlets so they may not even need disambiguation to begin with
If the pages don't exist, there's no need to think about disambiguating.

Macron's notesI respectfully disagree. I would actually prefer if pages which need disambiguation were able to be split as soon as we know that there are multiple works of the same name.
Something which can easily be checked by redlinking the instalment and seeing what comes up, or searching the title on google.
I am also of the opinion that if one series entry is disambiguated, it then becomes necessary to disambiguate all of them, like I did with Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress #1) and its sequels. At least when it comes to novels.
In this case, though, if there are subtitles, they should be used.
Edited by SkyCat32 on May 25th 2022 at 12:22:31 PM
Rawr.I am not sure how good of an idea that would be. There are a lot of works out there most very obscure so it's likely that every single title has been used more than once.
CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesA lot of single word titles and titles borrowed from common phrases have multiple works under the same name for instance. I just don't think it's worth the work to preemptively move pages and wicks and use Main/ to make disambigs for a single work when there's no need to do so yet.

Macron's notesSo, Scorpion is an issue.
Anyone against Literature.Scorpion going to 1980 and Series going to whatever year it started?
Or were there a glut of 1980 "Scorpion" media for some reason?

I guess we got the title from https://manga.fandom.com/wiki/Dolls_(Kawahara)
Or an old version of Wikipedia that that Wiki took from?

Hellfire (commonly spelled "hellfire") displays as Hell-Fire due to Literature.Hell Fire. Is this ok to keep? (Also pinging ~crazysamaritan who made the work page)
