Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
NTC's Lab
Majel's assistant chassis loaded a couple of test tubes into the cloning chambers' input slots, then stepped up to Nine-Tailed Cat. "Your Battle Royale nominees are prepared, Nine-Tailed Cat," she said. "However, I must remind you that the psychic terrorist threw you off a cliff last time. Are you certain you wish to proceed?"
"Whatever happens in the Arena happens," said Nine-Tailed Cat with a wave of his hand. "I won't hold one mutiny against him."
"Very well. Activation underway."
The clone chambers whirred to life, producing a familiar pair of tributes.
"Should be a formidable pair," said Nine-Tailed Cat. "The second human Spectre - at least, in the timelines when it isn't Ashley Williams - and the second-strongest fighter in Wes's team. Both principled, but dangerous if you get on their bad side."
"So a pair of insufferable goody-goodies," Nought said, rolling her eyes. "I'd rather have our last fourth-placers - at least they've got more of an edge to them."
"Perhaps they will get their own turn," said Nine-Tailed Cat. "But for now, don't underestimate these two." He turned to Cassandra Beech. "Miss Beech, would you be so kind as to see Major Alenko and Espeon to the Arena?"
"You got it, boss!" said Cassandra. "I hope they're just as spectacular as last time!"

6k1 sighs in relief. "I'm so glad you're okay!"
"But if those 'Zoids didn't attack your home, why did you still come here?" asks Juan. "Shouldn't it be safe for you to stay there, too?"
"You'll never know if they'll target the Palace next! But anyway, Is there anything important you'd like to tell us?" 6k1 then asks Adeleine and Ribbon.
Underground Bunker
Bezier squees the same way he did when Ichi petted him.
"Awwwww, I'm so glad she liked it!"
"And good to hear that she's doing okay!" says Power.
"Indeed..." says Miranda, "and I hope the rest of our family's doing alright, too."
"You can always call Father if you want, sister," says Trial.
"Of course, brother..."
Bezier then looks at the TV, which is turned off.
"...what season is it now? I last heard about an upcoming Death Battle, but did it already pass? And is there another special season coming up?"
"Oh, right! Ichi and I decided to focus on entertaining you first and foremost!" says Power.
Bezier smiles. "Really? I'm flattered!"
"But yeah Ich, are there any of 6k1's tributes Bez and I can root for this season, whatever it is?"
Outside Dark Stanford's Lair
The scouts would find an abandoned Mawkin starship
◊ somewhere not too far from the lair. It should be large enough to carry all the prisoners that the inside team has found so far, and while the instructions for the controls are written in the Mawkin language, the functions should be somewhat familiar to those who have piloted a spaceship before.
There's also what seems to be the entrance to an underground tunnel near the ship. This leads to the back of the lair, on the same floor where the inside team is currently fighting. However, the exit is not in any of three rooms they're in, but in one part of the hallways that the team hasn't explored yet, but it should be easy for them to find after the battle.
Meanwhile, Peridot notices Knox approaching her team and stands still.
"W-W-What are you doing here?" she asks. "W-W-Were you able to stop Blood Moon?"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

ZDR, Outside Lair
Rivet lowered her gun and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry about that," she said. "I really should've brought binoculars."
Ashley gave a nod to Peridot before turning back to Knox. "What she said. And why are you alone? Where's Fire Eyes?"
Meanwhile, Saheeli remained focused on contacting the scouting party. "Kyte, have you found anything yet?" she asked.
"Yep!" said the CloudRunner over the comms. "We found a ship! Krystal's helping the rookie figure out the controls right now. I'll mark it on the map for you!"
"Excellent," said Saheeli. "If we can just get the prisoners there, they'll be home free."
"There's more!" said Kyte. "We found a tunnel that looks like it could be a way in! We just have to make sure it's clear of that nasty energy."
Saheeli smiled. "Oh, well done!" she said. "Better let the other team know if it is - it sounds like they could use some help right about now."

(Knox sighs.) Sorta, I guess. Least I convinced him to fight Raven Beak. Maybe to not attack all you anymore. Reckon I can't promise that last part for sure.
Where are they now? (Ben asks.)
...They're busy. (Knox says, a bit hesitantly.) Glad you found a ship, but are ya any closer to gettin' to that damned stone? We're runnin' short on time!
(He gets worried when he hears them say that the others "could use some help right now".) ...And where do I need to go to get in there, huh?

"That's great!" Peridot tells Saheeli, "but yeah... they're still fighting in there, Knox... but Kyte said that there's a tunnel around here we can take! From what I've heard, I hope it's somewhat safer than the main entrance!"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
"Anywho, 'fore I forget, here's a couple late Easter gifts."
He gives Power a ponified version of Vergil's outfit

The Arena
As soon as the horn sounds, Rough yells at everyone to stay "THE HELL" away from him. Rhodonite screams back at him and runs away, remembering that he humiliated her back in S316's Death Battle, where she qualified for this season despite never having become an MM before.
Meanwhile, what seems to be Goyle prepares "his" dark magic, but the Peacekeepers notice "his" body transforming back into "his" true form. They immediately take the impostor out of the Arena and free the real Goyle from being locked inside a box.
"They took my nail clippings for that Polyjuice Potion!" he says.
"We know," say the Peacekeepers, "but we shall still keep an eye on you, mister."
"You can't make me!"
He promptly casts Avada Kedavra on them before stepping out of the box and running off.
As for Peter, he joins Cousin Eddie, Ceroba, and Odin's band on top of the cornucopia by blowing on it like a horn, but suddenly, he somehow glitches out again and yells, "SHAUN! SHAUN! SHAAAAUUUUNNNN!!!"
Later that day, Goyle encounters Koala and reminds her of something embarrassing she did while drunk. Koala tells him to leave, but he just smugly goes "heh" while doing so.
Meanwhile, Rhodonite overhears Cousin Eddie bragging about how well he can do in a fight. She gets torn between taking him on or going the other way, and she'd hate to shapeshift into a Reaper again. Instead, she summons whatever her actual Gem weapon is, but still reluctantly strikes him hard with it. She cringes as he screams for his mom in his dying breath.
Underground Bunker
Miranda, Trial, and Heart go to the corridor to call Justice while Spice takes Pepper back to their room to put him to bed, leaving just Power's sisters to watch the Games with her and Bezier. Moon is torn over whether she should root for or against Goyle while Bezier goes "WHAAAAT?!" at Ichi's gifts for him and Power.
"Getting me something for my birthday is one thing, but Easter? I thought you'd skip that 'cuz of these trying times, man!"
"Well, I was pleasantly surprised that he still gave me a Hearts and Hooves Day gift earlier!" says Power.
"Anything he'll do to cheer you up while waiting for that giant Metroid to be destroyed for good!" says Moon.
"Just how much longer until that happens..." says Star.
"But anyhoof... to the bathrooms!" Bezier declares as he and Power go off to change once

"And this season is featuring... Bezier, from the Tirek May Cry series!" Power declares as presents him to her captive audience.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
Scorbunny!Stacy: N-not watching this season unless Roscoe dies. I'm afraid of vicious dogs! (Changes back into her default form)
Jimmy: Okay, Kythring and Jimmy will tell you if he dies. By the way, 6k1 and Juan. Just like there are you two, then Power and Bezier, and finally CAC and Stacy, I wonder if there are non-binary counterparts of CAC, 6k1, and Power too?

Season 320
(Having heard the rumors about what Tonya does to the tributes who get knocked out in the seasons, the Chillet puts up a pretty good fight against her until they can't do so anymore, leading to something odd happening and their fight being over.)
(As night falls, the critter heads off to try to find a place to sleep only to find a very strange-looking bee.) Oh no, go away! OW! (The bee stings the Chillet on the snout and...inexplicably, the Chillet's head blows up like a balloon and they start to float away. The Chillet can do nothing but look around in confusion before hitting a tree limb, causing their head to deflate back to normal size.)
Ow... (The Chillet says after landing back on the ground, whereupon they begin frantically feeling their head over to confirm if that really just happened.)
(Later they get into a strange argument with Goyle that doesn't seem to go anywhere.)
(As all of this is going on, Chansome manages to bumble his way into saving Katze's universe.) Ooh, they might never believe me back on Gullah Gullah Island, brbrbll! (He says into the camera afterward.)
(Somehow he gets roped into capturing a cryptid with Tonya and a host of others, as well. Something about the way Animal and the rest of Electric Mayhem makes him wonder if they aren't too far removed world-wise, but he digresses.)

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 320
As Major Kaidan Alenko entered the Arena, he locked eyes with Rin Kaenbyou. Perhaps her job involving death and association with someone who controlled nuclear power gave him bad memories of Virmire, or perhaps he looked down on her for coming in sixth last time she was there rather than fourth, but whatever the case, he had a vendetta against the kasha. "I'm not here to win," he declared. "I'm just here to make you suffer."
Espeon, meanwhile, simply ran away from the Cornucopia, but happened to pass by Ariem as he did so and the two had a race to the tallest tree. Though Espeon was quick on his feet, he was no match for a Mobian dreamweaver, and Ariem got there first. Resignedly, Espeon congratulated her and headed to camp for the night.
A bit later, Kaidan saw Orin watching her Capitol Chariot Ride on TV and was thinking of how to ruin it when suddenly he got a video call. It was from Padparadscha, who'd gotten herself trapped in a cube. Unable to ignore someone in distress, he put his plots aside and went to rescue her. Unfortunately, it was for naught, as she went on to climb into the Forcefield on a magic beanstalk not long after.
That night, Espeon tried to send a psychic message warning her of a potential doom he sensed for her. However, his powers seemed to be on the fritz, as he was only about to get out "Be sure t-" before being cut off each time, which she ended up hearing as "be short".
Meanwhile, Kaidan, once again intent on finding a way to make Orin suffer, started making creepy faces. However, he stopped once Potato said he had a sick sense of humour and begged him to stop.
On the second day, Kaidan joined Chansome, Tonya, and The Electric Mayhem on a cryptid hunt, offering his technical skills along with using his biotics to restrain captured cryptids. Between them, they were able to catch a cryptid on their very first try. Elsewhere, Espeon decided to tune his psychic powers a bit by trimming the sensitive hairs that he used to feel the air, but they proved too tough and broke a set of razor blades.

What, me worry?
Ronny Gold's Castle
Ronny led them to a giant dining hall with black-and-white tiled-floor, wooden walls with paintings of Weird Al Yaknovic, and a table that's 12-foot long. Ronny took a seat at one of the ends.Have a seat, guys, think about what you want to eat.
Barnes came in shortly after.
What shall I prepare you, sir?
Give me fried chicken and fries, with ketchup. Lots and lots of ketchup. And some wine, too, I guess. And whatever my new friends want.

The Arena
That night, Rhodonite goes online and finds out that she's added in Mega Mash Bros. as a "Helper Cup".
"I don't know what this is but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be there..."
Speaking of which, Peter also goes online to look for trick ideas, but he suddenly feels the computer becoming warm. He doesn't realize what's happening until it burns hotter than the sun and explodes, burning him up and everything but the other tributes (somehow) within range.
The next day, Goyle, with bloodshot eyes, encounters the Chillet and keeps shouting its name until he goes, "It's on, you not-so-amazing, unbouncing ferret!" Later that night, he finds some pointy glowing knuckles and wears them, then slices a Clauncher into lobster fillet with them. The Electric Mayhem then stuff his latest dish into a cannon and launches it into a grave.
Meanwhile, Rhodonite launches some missiles, which may or may not be her Gem weapons, into the air as warning shots. She hopes not to hit anyone this time, but one lands dangerously close to the Difficulty Spectrum's camp.
The next day, Goyle hangs out with Manny, unaware of Snow Cone shipping them "just because he can".
Rhodonite, on the other hand, freaks out at Ariem taking out a stuck soccer ball and looking for its owner. The Gem fusion mistakes the ball for a bomb and tries punching it away from her with one of her thick arms, but ends up punching a hole through it and Ariem's chest.
"Nonononono..." Rhodonite mutters as she runs away crying.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
Juan facepalms at Stacy's group.
"Excuse me, but we're still talking with our guests here!"
"Wait, the season's started?" 6k1 looks around. "What's taking Ally so long? I know she's done with the nominations but I thought she'd come back and tell me already..."
"But anyway... regardless if that dog dies, we can always catch up later. Thanks for not stopping to watch the season while we were helping Bezier cope with his loss. I mean it."
"But that's an interesting question, Jimmy. I honestly don't know if my NB counterpart is out there somewhere, or what their name would be since mine is already gender-neutral..."
"Not all enbies use those kinds of names, though," says Juan. "But you're right, those counterparts are rarer than the traditional opposite-gender ones."
"Well, I do know who have those — Scipion and June! They have Skyler and Dess, respectively, and they go by any pronouns!"
Dark Stanford's Lair
Hallway
The Perizoid detects Discord and cocks its Vacuum Beam before it starts advancing towards where he is.
Corrupted Quarters
Mini-Cord 2 yells, "Oh, come on!" as Scipion knocks him out of Rarity's mane with full force, but the tiny draconequus snaps his fingers again to summon an attack-debuffing field under the heroes and unintentionally the ponies before exploding into many tinier Discords and vanishing.
Rarity also gets knocked aside and bruised on one side of her head, but the force of the blow manages to dislodge her bracer further. She struggles to get up, so she tries to grab the remaining elemental gemstones with her magic, but she only has enough strength to grab the earth gem. She turns into a pony golem but doesn't change size, and she harnesses the the gem to prepare to launch sand geysers under Veena, Lapis, and another unlucky fighter.
Lapis steps out of the field and then holds her arms out to Veena.
"Let me help you harness your new powers!"
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash gets punched in the face by Kaidan, allowing Onox to wrangle her like a cowboy. She tries bucking him off like a wild bronco, but her muscles tense up from the paralysis. Her bracer is now within Onox's reach, he'll just have to pull it out or risk overloading it with more electricity.
As for Applejack, she continues kicking more rocks at Freyja and Bale, but the former breaks all but two of them, which roll towards the other fighters. Bale, in his Darrgon form, then punches Applejack, smashing her into the cliffside. If Bale was able to get out of the debuffing field when he struck her, her bracer would be shattered into pieces and fall out of her hoof, otherwise it would be just cracked and about to fall out instead. Regardless, Applejack tries getting up again, but this time, she takes a little more time to recover.
Teleporter Room
Amethyst regains her bearings but groans when Tenn cuts off her whip to free Arthur.
"Ah wellz... at least I still can do this!"
She shapeshifts into a crocodile and rushes to help the Holo-Pearl with Pinkie Pie, the former who's trying to dislodge the bracer with her spear while the latter flails about and cries.
"Lemme help you with that!"
Amethyst bites the bracer with enough force to try pulling it out but not to tear off Pinkie's hoof. The Holo-Pearl yells at the purple Gem for accidentally hurting her before glitching out, but Amethyst continues her operation.
"GUUUUUMMYYYYYY!" Pinkie screams. "What big teeth you have now!"
Meanwhile, the Party Cannon goes off when James, Henry, and Shepard's attacks strike it. It lowers its angle to 30 degrees, launches Greta towards Reba, and then explodes into confetti.
"Heads up!" yells Garnet as she charges her gauntlets with excess electricity before preparing to tear through Les's barrier should he try putting them up again.
Fluttershy, on the other hoof, gets knocked out of Discord's claw by Zuma, Miss Ball, and Kirby's attacks, and Discord flinches a little from the residual damage from them. Fluttershy's sent tumbling near the entrance, and her bracer is about to fall off. Discord tries teleporting to her side, but his paw turns red from his prolonged use of his chaos magic combined with his clones in the other rooms and starts to fade.
"Ah, confound this! I'll just have to make do with what's left!"
Instead he starts crawling to where Fluttershy is and surrounds her with his serpentine body. The storm clouds start disappearing from the sky, so he then makes a mild fog settle into the room, slightly reducing everyone's visibility.
At the other side of the room, Pearl punts away a stray ball thrown by Miss Ball and finally enters the code to change the telepad's setting to "INSIDE".
"Okay, I got it! Now try calling the outside team to get in here!" she tells the Cat Rookie.
Pearl then hopes for the love of the stars that Discord won't somehow try intercepting the signal.
Looniversity Room
Warning: Things between Twilight and CAC will take a really dark turn by this arc's standards starting with this post!
Flash continues pushing hard on Sabre, leaving him open for Alex and Tokage. The strain on the scorched Netitus causes it to start cracking, now that Alex's flames have stained it.
Meanwhile, Aaron pushes Spike away from Dedede's mallet with Extreme Speed and Force Palm and into June's Night Daze and Tricky's fire breath. Spike gets bruised and paralysed, but his tough scales dampen the Pokémon's moves. However, Tricky manages to melt most of his bracer to loosen it enough to be pulled out with some force if Spike can't move a little longer.
"Just call me if ya need help with extractin' that!" says Bismuth as she turns her other hand into a pair of pliers and continues guarding the trapdoor.
As for Twilight, she flares open her wings to try intimidating CAC and pierces her gaze at him the same way she did in Asriel's nightmare. From her perspective, she sees him as the same shadowy nominator with blood red eyes.
"Yes... you WILL."
She summons a magical forcefield around herself, which tanks Kirby's bullets and Garnet's punches and also zaps the Holo-Pearl inert. She then briefly expands the dome to push Steven, Connie, Dick, and Elfin further away, and then divides the room with a thick, semi-permeable barrier resembling that in the Underground, separating her and CAC from everyone else. It doesn't need SOULs to be destroyed, but anyone can push hard on it to try passing through or shoot projectiles to try breaking it.
Mini-Cord 1 hops over to the other side and remodels the field to recreate Asgore's throne room. The golden stained-glass window shines sunlight behind Twilight as she and CAC stand facing each other in a field of golden flowers. She then removes her forcefield and starts charging another spell.
"So it seems you STILL haven't learned from your mistakes..."
Twilight slowly advances towards CAC as her horn steadily glows brighter. Those on the other side can still hear her strong contempt for him.
"HOW did you escape from that nightmare?" she asks. "And WHY are you here? Are you only trying to 'save' us because you draw the line at Multiversal destruction, and after this, you'll go back to 'disciplining evil' children by trapping them in infinite death loops?"
She glances at Spike, for deep down, she'd hate for CAC to kill him or worse right after he's saved just because he had his faults, too, even before he was brainwashed.
Steven knocks on the barrier crying and yells at Twilight to stop, but Connie shushes him, for she knows it'll still fall on deaf ears.
"Those teenagers and their Gem friend are WRONG to keep you alive," Twilight continues. "Steven, especially, is SO naïve... can he really redeem you if you're just going to snap back at any point? And what about those two other people with you? I don't care who they are, but they are FOOLISH for trying to stand up for you just like them!"
She continues charging her magic.
"Go ahead and try convincing me that I should give you one LAST chance, because if not..."
She then lowers her head to point her horn at CAC's chest.
"...I shall display you right next to Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy outside my castle!"

Dark Stanford's lair
Seeing Flash distracted, Alex and Tokage rushed to help Sabre by attacking from behind, with Alex using a Fire Punch aiming at his face. Tokage targetted the bracer with Leaf Blades.
Aaron looked hesitantly at Bismut, wanting to stay behind to guard the door. But he knew that they might not get another chance.
"Please, keep Oscar and Lucian safe." he said to her and Tricky before rushing toward Spike to grab his bracer before pulling with all of his might.
Sadly, with the Rescue Squad all busy, they could do little but watch in horror as Twilight isolated CAC from the rest of the group. They knew they had to hurry.
Under the trapdoor, Lucian calmed down a tiny bit, but he was still sobbing. He clearly wasn't well.
Arthur barely had time to get up and thank Tenn that a ligtning bolt striked right where he would have been if he was still tied up.
"Fucking... If you could be more careful next time, that would be nice. I almost got fried there." Arthur scolded Amethystst.
"Think Arthur owes you one, Tenn." Nick said with a rapid smirk before looking at Discord crawling to Fluttershy and creating a fog all around the room.
"Damn it... At least the others seem they got Pinkie Pie."
"James's staying on Wanda's parents. A fog shouldn't stop him. Then let's bring that damn goat-thing down before he notices Pearl." Arthur agreed, glancing as James put on his lenses to see past the fog before targeting Reba with another dose of Snipe Shots. Arthur tried to pin Discord down with Spirit Shackle, while Nick prepared another Pyro Ball, aiming for Discord's bracer.
Seeing the effects of the gemstones on Veena and Rarity, Scipion managed to grab the fire one. As soon as he did, his skin got replaced with fire, with his mane turned into a living flame. He looked at his body with a bit of shock before grinning.
"Uh? Hey.... Hehehe! EEYAHAHA!! Now THAT'S FIRE!!" Scipion roared in delight before looking at Rarity with a bloodthirsty smile. He dodged her geysers before throwing a fireball at her.
Meanwhile, Onox struggled to keep a solid grip on Rainbow Dash, but he didn't let her go and he grabbed the bracer. Still, he was struggling to remove the mind-controlling item.
As for Freyja, she looked down on Applejack once Bale made her fall.
"No, you don't." she hissed, rushing to grab the bracer and trying to break it with her claws.

(The Chillet leaves, rather confused.) Did he think I was someone else...??
(In any case, the Chillet finds a helmet and puts it on, hoping that it'll contain their head if it blows up again.)
(They later find themselves having to create a meal for Qilby. Having no cooking experience whatsoever but recalling seeing a human in their world create a mushroom soup, the Chillet creates a similar soup to the best of their ability. The end result has a flavor that's...maybe a bit too strong.)

(Oscar hopes beyond anything that the fighting outside will cease soon. He's getting very worried for Lucian and isn't sure how to cheer him back up (mainly because he himself is still very anxious).)
(Still feeling miserable over having to fight poor Spike and his friends, June attempts to restrain the little dragon so that Aaron can try to get the bracer off of him.)
(There isn't much June and her sisters can do in regards to Twilight isolating CAC from the others either due to them still being occupied with dealing with the others, but July, after trying to help Tokage out by using Flamethrower on Flash's bracer (trying to take care that she doesn't hurt him or Tokage while doing so) looks over long enough to see what's going on.)
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!! (She shrieks upon seeing CAC looking like he's about to drive an axe through his own head. She immediately sprints away from everyone and starts pounding on the barrier.) NOOOOOOOO!!
(June and August aren't able to do much from where they're at since they're already preoccupied with slowing down Spike and Flash respectively.) CRIPES, MAN, DON'T DO IT!! CAC!

INCOMING!! (Greta exclaims.)
(Wanda, Sidon, and Cleo dive to the ground. Reba doesn't react in time, distracted by the Snipe Shots James was firing at her, and Greta slams into Reba full force, sending them both into the walls of the plane.)
(Greta rolls off Wanda's unconscious mother and uncurls.) Well, that worked!
Are you alright, Greta? (Zuma asks.)
(Greta doesn't have time to answer before Les bellows in rage.) YOU HURT MY BELOVED?!! (He shouts.)
(He then does something Wanda hadn't tried to do yet and forms more barriers into spears to launch at the heroes. The fog doesn't help in the slightest, as it's probably going to make finding the spears difficult, even with them glowing blue.)
(Sidon and Wanda quickly deflects a couple of them them while Cleo stops a few in mid-air, but they keep coming.) We must stop him!
(Wanda sees the brainwashing bracer still on Reba's wrist.) I'm gonna try to work that thing off M-...Reba's wrist. (She says, catching herself before she calls Reba her mother and give herself away.)
(Wanda rushes over to Reba and tries to yank it off, but Greta's collision with Reba already severely damaged it to the point that it no longer looks functional.)
Let's keep him distracted, hmm? (Henry suggests, wanting to be sure that Discord doesn't disrupt their attempt to use the teleporter.)
Watch yourself, Hen, you don't know what he might do to you. (Tenn says, moving by Miss Ball to help defend the rookie.)
(Henry starts zipping around over top of Discord, occasionally using Dragon Breath, while work on the telepad continues.)

Please do! (Veena says to Lapis. She at least manages to leap toward Lapis away from the sand stream (suspecting she would turn to mud if caught in it in her current state), and splashes over next to Lapis.)
I wasn't expecting THIS to happen! What should I do? You seem to know this better than I do! (Veena asks Lapis.)
(She looks over at Scipion. Somehow she can't help but find it fitting that he got the fire stone...at the same time, she herself finds a sense of deja vu in being made of water, too, but she can't place why that is right now.)

If you guys don't need any more help, I'll go in, too. (Ben adds, checking to see if the Omnitrix is charged.) I can't just sit out here knowing I could be helping everyone inside.

The barrier separating all parties came about, with the Holo-Pearl deactivated and Garnet's attack proven inefficient, they decided to try and get through it to help CAC, and were disturbed by the exchange between the corrupt Twilight and CAC and tried to hurry and strengthen their attacks to help him.
Garnet: DO NOT DO IT!

Teleporter Room
The fog began impeding everyone's views, and Rouki thought up of a solution as he summoned his Giga Battle Nizer and decided to use Melba's wind power to try and dissipate it.
Rouki: Do not disappoint me, servant.
Corrupted Quarters
Applejack tried to use the bracer but Freyja went to crush it, Bale decided to do so as well but instead use a concentrated energy orb to destroy it carefully without hurting Applejack herself.
Bale: Can't let you do that. Now hand over that.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

The Arena
That night, Goyle orders a well-done steak from the 100 Pikmin (although he thinks there are only 59), but they politely yet firmly ask him to leave because they only know how to cook it medium-rare.
"Then just burn it, I'll eat it anyway!" he demands them.
Meanwhile, Rhodonite hears Mizuchi's voice ring in her head all night, who tells her that she "gets what she deserves". Rhodonite curls up into a fetal position and covers the sides of her head, muttering to herself that she accidentally killed Ariem earlier today.
The next day, Rhodonite screams as Regina smacks her with a magical handbag, even when it loses its magic. The Gem fusion is still reminded of Mizuchi's voice and runs away from Regina.
Meanwhile, Goyle has a duel with Ludger and fires some dark magic spells at him, but he blocks them with the Chameleon, who resists them thanks to the Crest of Infinity's powers. Ludger then retreats with the Chameleon before Goyle can continue hitting them, and Goyle storms away in the other direction.
Later that night, Rhodonite suddenly gets kicked hard into a cliff by a cassowary. Luckily, it didn't strike her in her gemstones, but she still poofs upon landing.
Meanwhile, Goyle initiates "Goyle Plan 5-7-9-Bomb", and the first step involves Apparating in front of April May with a smokescreen flourish for their battle the next day. April applauds him and compliments his style before they start.
Rhodonite, on the other hand, breaks down again as she loses control of her Gem weapon and kills Koala, who goes "WAAAAAA-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!" before dropping to the ground.
Underground Bunker
Star and Moon applaud for Power and Bezier, who bow to them.
"Nah," Power tells Ichi, "I just remembered that some tributes were introduced that way in the Bloodbath!"
"But that didn't happen this season!" says Bezier.
"I meant in general!" She winks at him.
"Ohhhh! But anyway Ich, thanks for this, but it would've been better if you gave me Pretty Boy clothes, or better yet, girly clothes!"
"What's wrong with cosplaying as a macho man? I like girly cosplays, but I have no problem dressing up as tomboys and manly men, like Vergil right now!"
"Wellll, it's just that Denji's and Fourteen's outfits happen to fit my favorite style even if those guys are manly!"
"Huh..." says Star, "I didn't take you as a crossdresser, but you've certainly got style!"

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 320
On the second night, Espeon sensed Ludger and the Swans Rabbit playing in the mud. He took a careful route around them, not wanting to get his freshly-groomed coat splashed, and managed to steer clear.
Around that time, Kaidan faced Katze in deadly combat and managed to get the upper hand. With one well-aimed cryonic blast, humanity's second Spectre managed to freeze Katze in place before tearing him up with a salvo of assault-rifle shots. However, with his last breath, Katze swore that as long as any good remained in the hearts of humanity, he would return.
"That'll be for a long time," Kaidan said, recalling his own Paragon leanings and trust in his fellow humans.
The next day, a mysterious sponsor somehow managed to give Espeon a wedgie when he wasn't even wearing clothes. Enraged, Espeon fired off a psychic blast powerful enough to turn that sponsor's brain to mush.
In another part of the Arena, Kaidan, along with Flowey the Flower, saw an alien craft making a landing. The pilot got out to talk to Blair and left the ship unattended, giving them a chance to climb inside and look around.
"Incredible!" Kaidan remarked. "This drive's completely different from the Prothean-based tech we use in the Alliance! I wonder how it handles?"
He let Flowey take the helm while he sat down in the co-pilot's seat, and the two of them spent the rest of the day flying the ship around the Arena.
Upon landing, however, Kaidan spotted that a dam had sprung a leak, threatening to flood the entire Arena. He checked for some omni-gel to plug it, but seeing he had none to spare, he was forced to stick his finger into the hole instead. He stayed there for much of the night until a repair crew finally arrived to fix it.
Espeon spent his third night guarding a secret base for Wes's terrorist group. He scanned the area for other tributes, and was relieved to find that only one was nearby... at least, until he realised that it was the evil and evil and maniacal Gray Heron, who'd turned the Arena into a corn wasteland. He shuddered in fear and hoped he wouldn't be noticed.
The next day, Espeon got a look at the inside of a magic lamp, and noted just how repetitive it was inside. Everything was brass, and very uniform brass at that, without any particularly copper- or zinc-rich parts or more bronze-y bits from the inclusion of tin. He found himself grateful that he wasn't a wish-granting genie.
Kaidan, meanwhile, was telling Koala about how his Cryo Blast tech power worked, but ended up with some confusion over units. "No, you see, a difference of one Kelvin is just one degree Celsius. You only add 273 once, at the end, to the final temperature. Otherwise 273 Kelvin would be the same as 546 Kelvin, which makes no sense."
During the night, Espeon attempted a tribute betrayal, his hunger driving him to try to devour Kaidan alive. However, Kaidan reacted with a biotic punch to the jaw. Though his Fighting resistance allowed him to survive, Espeon still got enough teeth knocked out to prevent him from dining on human flesh, and quickly withdrew back to his own camp.
Kaidan spent the fourth day hanging out with Manny, and thought about sharing some jokes he'd heard in the Alliance military. However, Manny started laughing before he could even get to the setup. "What's so funny? What are you even laughing about?"
Espeon, on the other hand, found himself under attack by a trainload of pigs sent from Dundalk Clarke Station. Seeing Ellen, Ludger, Contstanze, and Tonya caught in the same situation, he quickly decided to team up with them, and together the five of them were able to fight off the pigs and survive.
On the fourth night, Espeon discovered that he'd somehow caught the attention of Gregory Goyle. Whether it was his innate powers like those of a pureblood wizard, his partnership with a master of dark arts, him raising an apocalyptic entity from the depths of Hell itself, or something else, the Slytherin couldn't help but love and admire him in every possible world. Espeon was both flattered and terrified.
Meanwhile, having lent some money to Count Dracula before the season began for whatever reason, Kaidan set off to collect on the debt. "I know you're here, Dracula," he said, descending a staircase. "Where are my goddamn credits?" However, he only found Regina George down there, and decided he'd have to get his payment some other night.
Espeon spent the fifth day listening to Tonya's stand-up comedy routine, but the jokes only being in English bothered him. "¡Traduce tu chiste al espeoñol!" he demanded repeatedly. Kaidan was also seeking entertainment, being hit by a case of contagious stupidity.
ZDR, Outside Lair
"We are making progress," Ashley said, a bit of annoyance creeping into her voice. "The other team got past the energy field, but they've met heavy resistance. We're waiting for-"
At that point, the Red Squad's communicators pinged.
"It's the rookie - the one with Shepard's squad," said Rivet. "They've got a teleporter ready for us."
Ashley smiled. "Looks like our timetable's moved up," she said. "Rivet, tell them we've got six to transport and send them our coordinates. Saheeli, tell the scouting divisions to keep going - we'll meet up with them inside."
"You got it," said Rivet. Saheeli nodded, and the two of them sent out their messages.
Stanford's Lair, Jet Room
The cat rookie gave a salute to Pearl and signalled the outside team. A moment later, she got a response.
"Rivet here. Krystal, Kyte, and the wolf are taking another route, but the rest of us are ready and waiting with Knox. Here are the coordinates."
Taking advantage of the cover of fog, the cat worked on locking the teleporter onto the outside team's positions and beaming them in.
Shepard remained on the defensive for a time, ducking between seats to avoid Les's spears while waiting for the right moment. Soon enough, Shepard saw a chance, with Nick's Pyro Ball helping burn through the fog while Melba's wind also worked on dissipating it. It seemed it was now or never.
The Commander's cybernetic implants went into overdrive with a powerful adrenaline rush. From Shepard's perspective, it was as if the rest of the world slowed to a crawl for a moment, long enough to take precise aim at Discord's bracer and fire off several disruptor-ammo shots. Shepard then ducked back into cover in case of a counterattack.
Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Room
Tricky nodded to Aaron and continued to guard the trapdoor, swinging his frilled head to help hold back Spike. Sabre, meanwhile, waited for the others to strike before making a roll to get away from Flash, reaching for the first weapon he could get his hands on - a glaive, as it happened. It wasn't his usual weapon of choice, but it'd have to do.
Unfortunately, with both of them occupied, they could do little to help as Twilight separated herself and CAC from the others.
"I have a name, Princess," muttered Sabre.
"Don't listen to her!" cried Tricky. "She's only saying that because Evil Stanford's telling her to!"
Stanford's Lair, Tribute Quarters
Kaidan managed to get back up just in time to avoid the burst of sand geysers. Seeing Onox's struggles, he powered on his omni-tool once again and fired off an electromagnetic pulse to try to overload Dash's bracer, though with Discord's debuffing field active he wasn't sure how well it'd work.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
That night, Goyle catches sight of Espeon and plans to recruit him as a Death Eater to so the latter can use his psychic powers to complement his dark magic in some way. But surprisingly for the evil wizard, this "adorable" talking "magical" creature is making his heart melt. He kneels to Espeon's eye level and gives a warm smile as he gently pats his head.
"If Lord Voldemort is still out there, I know he will 'dismiss' me if he finds out I admire a sapient Crup like you... but why should that matter if there are other worlds out there where we are happy together? Um... are there other worlds like that?"
But Espeon has mixed feelings for him, so Goyle isn't sure if their relationship in this timeline will work out for them.
Meanwhile, Rhodonite drowns her sorrows over accidentally killing Koala by downing a coffee and salsa drink, freaking Constanze out. As a Gem, Rhodonite isn't bothered by its taste, but she still cries over her run so far this season. Just then, she hears a Froakie playing the maracas, and without thinking, she gets up and dances, hoping it'll get those kills she made off her head.
But the next day, she suddenly gets struck by lightning, but somehow she doesn't poof from it. However, she looks at herself and freaks out over who she is now and why she's here in the Arena.
Meanwhile, Goyle fires the Killing Curse at Qilby, but Orin recharges her mana and casts an illusion that swaps Qilby's place with Space Boyfriend and Lemres'. The spell somehow hits the latter two at once, and Goyle fumes at missing his target for a while before realizing that he still managed to kill two more tributes, not knowing that they're counted as one tribute according to the rules.
Later that night, he sees Orin proudly hold up her test result, so he grumbles as he lifts her with Levicorpus to help Rhodonite, 2000s!Ophelia, and Regina carry her. Rhodonite has no idea what she's doing, nor does she remember Regina smacking her with that handbag, but the Gem fusion can still lift Orin with her four arms.They then all tuck in for the night, but Goyle wakes up first thing in the morning to brand his name on Rhodonite with hot iron. He then Apparates away before she wakes up startled despite being heat-resistant, and she looks at the name on one of her thick arms and thinks that her name is Goyle now.

Bale nodded to Freyja as well and dodged the rocks to get close to the corrupted Applejack, he used his bracelet to summon forth of Darrgon's power to deliver a powerful but non-lethal blow at Applejack.
Bale: I'll go!
Teleporter Area
Rouki growled at Amethyst's accidental lasso, while Kirby just doged in case. Kirby attempted to suck in some rubble to turn into Star Projectiles to try and stun Fluttershy with. Rouki himself just ravaged any living projectile coming at him.
Rouki: Cover our Gem allies, if they are compromised we could all fall here.
Looniversity Area
Pearl and Garnet saw Twilight aiming for CAC and opted to help. Pearl summoned a Holo-Pearl to distract the pony while Garnet attempted to fire her gauntlets to distract her as well while attempting to use her future vision to try and predict the next moves now that she could assess the threat better.
