Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

(Dupe!No-Feet joins a group hug...which is made awkward due to the fact that the personification of a particularly infamous event in the HGS's history is there.)

Whispering Pines
(Everyone is understandably startled when Squishy suddenly bursts in with a monster it just defeated.)
Mama, you're holdin' on too tight! (Lucy says after Dinah understandably gets an iron grip on Lucy and covers the Riolu's eyes as Squishy finishes off the Serris.)
Oh…well, give me a moment to sweep that unlucky fellow up, everyone. (Lilac says as she begins sweeping up the creature’s remains.)
Now if he's gonna do that to us- (Cortez starts to say.)
He won't! (Oscar says quickly, running over to Squishy and calming the Metroid down.) Sorry, he's fine... (Oscar can’t help but feel a little at peace as Squishy hugs him.)
I'm still not quite used to that...Ultra Beast...? (Dinah squeaks.)
Neither am I.... (July agrees.)
Hey, least he's pretty harmless. (Benji says.) But, uh, Lucy, you probably shouldn't approach him without one of us with you, okay?
Okay... (Lucy nods.)
(Dess sits down with some food, takes one bite of their pancakes, and then starts ravenously devouring the food in front of them, even moreso than June would.)
Gosh, Dess, nobody's gonna steal it from ya! (June laughs.)
Sorry! I can't even remember th' last time I had pancakes! These are heavenly! (Dess says.)
It seems you've met quite a few interesting people on your journey... (Sunny remarks after Squishy leaves.)
Well, bzz, now that that's over, shall we contact my brother? (Maran asks.)
Oh, they did? (Phoebe asks.) How wonderful for them. As for why I am here...Stellan wore me down and convinced me to come over to Whispering Pines. I couldn't bring myself to show my face, though, so...I disguised myself. If anyone asks, my name is Gomer Carvey. That name and this face mean nothing to the people here.
I did try to convince Phoebe NOT to disguise herself, but she took that disguising potion when I wasn't looking. (Stellan sighs, shaking his head.)
Now I must go out of sight and take more of my potion before I completely change back to normal and someone recognizes me as Phoebe! I've already grown back to my true unnatural size and- (Phoebe's Huntail dorsal fin pops back into a Gorebyss one.) Oh noooooo!!
(She attempts to hide in the bushes.)

Ah, yes, we've heard a bit about your adventures, Steven. (Henry says.)
It sounds like quite a lot, especially for someone your age. (Shelley says to Steven.) I'm glad you seem to be getting along well now, though.
I DID feel nervous without them, but...I never felt like I was going to have an absolute meltdown. (Shelby says.) I think being around Shelley helped...
(She looks over to Shelley.) Thank you for keeping me company.
You're welcome, Shelby. I'm glad you've been having a wonderful time. (Shelley says.)
(Going to the Hall of Mirror's (and the one that was in the Zoroarks' fun house) is brought up.)
Oh dear, if we go there, I do hope I do not become lost nor become convinced that I have become Shelley again. (Henry says.)
Well, at this point you really HAVE become me... (Shelley comments. Shelley sees Shelby's confused expression at that remark.) ...It's a very long story.
HOWEVER! (Henry says.) I firmly believe that with James there with me, we may leave the maze faster than everyone! I accept this challenge!

Hey, Shelley has a pretty good sense of direction. You're in good hands, Shelby. (Tenn reassures the Goodra.)
(Just then, the FBW's crystal ball rings. It's from Tokage and the others in Whispering Pines.)
Maran? My sibling wishes to speak to me? (Henry asks.) Well, by all means, put him on!
(The other Flygon goes up to the ball.) Hello? Henry? Bzz? Are you there? Where are you and what sort of Pokémon are those with you? Are they Rock-types, bzz?
Yes, I am here, Maran! We are in another dimension with some of its residents! They are Gems and human beings, my dear sibling! Tell me, are you well? (He asks.)
All things considered, yes. (Maran says.) Ending up cursed aside, bzz.
Oh dear, that's awful! (Henry says.)
Do you need us to help you? (Shelley asks.)
Oh, don't worry about me, bzz, I'm not dying or anything. I'm just dealing with...minor annoyances. (Maran lifts up one of his feet to the crystal ball so they can see how it's on backwards.)
Oh, that looks painful! (Tenn says.)
Well, at least I have sort of learned to walk like this by now, bzz. (Maran says.) I will be over this by the end of this month, though, so don't worry about me, bzz, I will be fine. I've even still been able to rehearse for the troupe's upcoming play.
Now, bzz, the main reason I wanted to call was about what I am told you and your team have done. (Maran says.) Color me VERY surprised, I almost can't believe what they've told me about you. Outwitting some other-dimensional Vespiquen, you and Shelley changing into facsimiles of Zekrom and Reshiram to help save both your friend Tenn, the REAL Zekrom and Reshiram, and our own world...I'll admit, all this time I thought you were just dealing with minor things like picking up trash in towns or solving petty crimes. That was...that was genuinely all I thought you were capable of... (Maran sounds a bit ashamed of himself.)
Tutter's Hill
(Knox can hardly speak afterward. He simply emits a quiet, terrified whimper.)
(Veena walks over to him and gives Knox a gentle hug. She can't help but find having arms to hug people with an advantage to a form like this. Sticky hugs Knox as well.)
Knox...I'm sorry Blood Moon did that to you... (Veena says.)
(Knox still doesn't respond, but he sincerely hugs them back.)
(Short Stuff is too weak and tired to fight back at this point, nor does he even try to resist the Mawkin anymore, as Blood Moon picks him up and Lightning Claws begins going through the farmhouse.)
(At this point, most of what can be found inside the farmhouse consists entirely of Short Stuff's experiments. Notes about them are everywhere and suggest that they mostly consist of the potion that granted Short Stuff the ability to change into a much stronger form and regenerate himself, as well as notes for what looks like a refined version of the potion that led to Hickory's explosive exit.)
(There are also some curious things, such as how what looks like a wooden box for keeping some of Short Stuff's supplies in the room that appears to be his office is actually an old baby crib. There is also stitched embroidery that is barely visible behind a desk depicting a faded desert sunset. In thread lettering is written: "To my wonderful desert wildflower Martina. With love, Guillermo." There's no real reason to take any of these things, but they do show that this house was indeed occupied by someone else before Short Stuff moved in.)

Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
That night, Data Berdly finds himself in a personalized Hell, where he suddenly gains the ability to mentally torture other tributes who are trapped there, too, while inside the realm. He reluctantly tests it out, but clutches his head when he discovers who he's torturing.
"V and Jimin?!" he screams. "Aren't you guys the ones in that... infamous season Kris told me about long ago?"
He's unaware that they're either data cloned or are alts of the V and Jimin, but Berdly has heard of their plight that season. He just hopes that they can escape this together.
Meanwhile, Data Antonio gets arrested by Deborahbot for arson, murder, and jaywalking.
"But all I did was get this star from that cat!" he says as he shows it to him.
He tries ignoring that the next day by smiling, while Berdly has a debate with Agatha, Sam, and Lucky on whether or not Snape was being fair with deducting 5000 points from Gryffindor.
"As a friend of mine said," says Berdly, referring to a certain goat who knows about Snape, "he's a strict teacher, so he does punish his students harshly if they're not listening. In my opinion, however, he's just biased against Gryffindor because he's Head of Slytherin House!"
Lucky just meows, and they and Berdly lose to Agatha and Sam in the debate. Berdly then gets Sean's message that everyone should change their profile pictures to Luffy, but he refuses while Antonio is unaware because he doesn't have a phone.
While Berdly makes a YTP later that night, the Janklerfish Team gives Antonio this letter to read aloud:

Antonio does as instructed, but discovers the secret message and laughs. He then watches 999's demonstration of its Wunder Boner fish de-boner the next day and promptly looks away when the game somehow strips a fish of its skeleton.
"Poor fishy..." says Antonio.
Meanwhile, Berdly battles Luffy inside a cave and swiftly dodges his Rubber Man powers. He then grabs him and blows him upwards with tornadoes to stab him with a stalactite up above.
"Good thing I didn't change my profile pic, then!"
He then has clams for dinner, but gets sick because he didn't know they were expired, while Antonio finds Snape, whose kneecaps were shattered, trying to fight a buff Muriel. Antonio isn't sure how to help, so he finds a random bottle of hot sauce and tosses it at Snape, who pours it on Muriel's eyes.
The next day, Antonio finds a crab, which snaps its claws at him to tell him to be quiet. He understands it and tries keeping his mouth shut, but he can't resist talking to the crab.
Meanwhile, Berdly recovers from his illness and bows to Tok Aba.
"I, Berdly, shall swear my loyalty to you this season!" he says. "I'll do anything for you even if it'll cost me my life!"
He doesn't realize that Tok Aba killed Bale's best Hall of Famers back in the Bloodbath, however.
The Database Library, Basement
So you data cloned him? 6k1 asks Mr. Star via text. Is that how you knew about him before the Earth Primers had sufficient knowledge about him? Because CAC was somehow able to nominate the Sprigatito last season flesh and blood...
She then wonders if CAC is even aware that the other nominators are data cloning their tributes since he was there when Dark Ichi and Power discussed them just before last Nom Games. If he is aware of that but still prefers nominating his tributes the "old way" like 6k1 used to do, then that's his choice, she surmises.
She then continues tracking Snape's performance when suddenly, Snow and Coin get timewrecked?! 6k1 immediately drops her phone on the bed, then gets up and goes to the corner of her room clutching her head.
"Oh no..." she mutters to herself, "did it finally happen again... for real?!"
She tries contemplating on this, but shakes her head.
"I don't know... this technically could be the 3rd Timewrecking in the Arena, but since Snow and Coin aren't tributes this season, I don't think that counts... but as weird as it is for me to say this, Snow deserved that after all the misery he gave me during his reign as president. But that still counts as one Snow death in my counter."
Power's Home
Power then was about to ask Alphys about her data clone last Nom Games when she witnesses the timewrecking. She fold her ears and hides under her blanket as memories of the last one flash in her mind, but she remembers Twilight's lessons and takes several deep breaths.
"Sorry about that, Al," she says to the lizard, "it's just that it's been a long time since the last incident..."
"Oh my God... Snow doesn't deserve that even if he was a terrible president... does he?"
Power sighs. "I hate to say this, but I believe he deserves it because not only is this the culmination of all the times he died there, but this is payback for giving me and Ichi misery during Villain Month, even if it's late."
"Geez..."
Funland, Food Stalls
"Oh man, they were no easy feats either!" Steven laughs nervously. "Especially since most of them involved my mom and her... really complicated history, and not just because 6k1 somehow managed to resurrect her for Season 22, long before she switched to data cloning..."
He shows the others the gemstone on his belly, which was inherited from Rose Quartz when she gave up her physical form to give birth to him.
"Yeah..." says Connie, "I understand how all of that left you mentally and emotionally scarred even years after you made peace with the Diamonds, but rest assured that everything will be okay!"
"That's true! I've been checking with my therapist regularly, and I've been managing my mental health well!"
"But on another topic..." says Pearl, again reminded of her equally complicated history with Rose, "I think we'd all like to try out the House of Mirrors!"
"Shure fing!" says Amethyst, still chowing down on the snacks.
"But I think we should wait for Wes and Millie in case they want to join us too," says Garnet. "We Gems shall go as one team unless we must go in pairs."
"While Steven and I will take on this maze together!" says Connie.
"Sure thing!" he says.
Maran then calls Henry, and Connie freaks out at the former's backwards legs.
"That looks painful!" she says, "I don't think my mom would like to see them!"
"I've seen some Cluster Gems with their legs on like that..." adds Steven.
"They're basically Gems that were forcibly fused using their gem shards..." says Pearl, "but other than that, I hope you'll have a... less annoying curse tomorrow!"
"I wouldn't worry about him," says Garnet, "if he got used to that, then good for him!"
"Itsh like if my shapeshiffin' went outta control ev'ryday!" adds Amethyst.

Scipion's lair
Scipion lazily watched Berdly's run in the arena. That boredom turned into sadistic glee as Berdly gruesomely managed to impale Luffy on a stalactite.
"Ah... Finally, he's doing something useful. I have a good feeling about this..." the evil Zoroark cackled.
That quickly came to an end though, as Nemo ended up killing the clone, much to Scipion's frustration.
"OH YOU ARE...! Tsssk!!! It's okay, it's okay, he still performed well before, I'm not gonna get mad at that stupid bird..." he growled.
Whispering Pines
Proteus immediately assisted Lilac by using some water to clean up the dust. To everyone (mainly Alex)'s relief, Squishy didn't get angry with all the people around it and it kept hugging Oscar and Lucian. The Lycanroc felt a bit at peace too and rubbed himself against Oscar, glad he was getting used to Squishy too.
"...Damn. I didn't expect that." Alex gasped at Dess ravenously devouring their food, to the point of rivaling his hunger.
Aaron quietly nodded at Phoebe. Like Stellan, he wished that she should try revealing herself, but he wasn't going to force her either. He sighed as when her potion started to wear off, the Gorebyss decided to hide in the bushes.
Beach City Funland
"Wow... All of you at once?" Nick exclaimed at Garnet.
"Well number doesn't make everything. That's fine by me if you girls want to go together." Arthur said to the gems.
"Indeed! I should warn you though. I may be a gentleman, but I intend to win this little competition with my trusted partner, my ladies! Even eventual spiders inside will not stop us!" James said to them as well.
"I figure out Wes and Millie should drop by soon to take a bite. Don't worry. I saw them with some gems though." Arthur said to them and Shelby.
James restrained himself from yelping in horror when Maran showed his feet. At least, having witnessed a headless Axel prepared him for that.
"Well... At least it's temporary!" Nick exclaimed.
"I-Indeed! In any case, we will be glad to assist you if something goes wrong!" James nervously added.
The FBW then listened to what Maran had to say. Even Arthur couldn't help but smile at Henry getting praised by his brother.
"Believe me, I thought the same thing when I first met the guy. Turns out he's bolder and more resourceful than I first thought, even though he's a self-absorbed idiot... A bit like my own leader. That's why they quickly became friends." the Decidueye said.
James rolled his eyes in annoyance. The Inteleon hummed as he adjusted his necktie.
"Dear Maran, everyone here can confirm what you have heard about your brother and his feats. He told me much about his... embarrassing past on SR388 when we were not sure we were going to survive it. And yet, were it not for his genius move, we would have certainly perished on this planet, me the first."
"I say, Henry has a lot of things going for him. He is brave and loyal without any fault. He willingly is able to put his life at risk for others like a real rescuer. He is able to accomplish great things and he truly is passionate about his work. And last but absolutely not least, he has impeccable manners and an excellent sense of elegance and presentation!" James hammily exclaimed, dramatically posing as sparkles formed around him and Henry.
"That last part was unnecessary..." Arthur mumbled, his eyes hidden by his hood.
"What my leader said, Maran. You can be proud of your bro for becoming a great rescuer. Though... I don't think you've heard that Henry has... something else going on right now." Nick giggled, giving a teasing look at Henry and Tenn.
Tutter's Hill
It didn't take long for Lightning Claws to come back with various notes and potions. With how many things there were, he was forced to get most of the things out of the farmhouse to make sure he wouldn't miss anything.
Including the embroidery.
"What is this?" Blood Moon coldly asked Lighting Claws as he carried it to the other items.
"Some kind of embroidery, likely from the house's previous inhabitants. It was a family since I found some old children toys." Lightning Claws said with a shrug. Hissing in annoyance, Blood Moon glanced at it in curiosity.
His eyes widened.
The embroidery's style... It reminded him of things he knew too well
"My wonderful desert wildflower." Those words somehow kept repeating in his head, already unstable because he was forced to assume his core form.

Blood Moon was paralyzed. The pictures, the voices again...
Brave Spear's voice...
"...Blood Moon?" Lightning Claws asked as Blood Moon stayed silent, staring at it.
"...Burn it." Blood Moon said, pointing at the embroidery.
"Excuse me?" Lightning Claws asked, confused.
"You heard me. Burn it." Blood Moon repeated, eyes widened and his voice trembling.
"Why? This is just some old embroidery. It is nothing harmless. I am not wasting time, we have to move before the nominat-"
Lightning Claws didn't have time to finish his sentence. Unable to control himself, Blood Moon viciously clawed at his partner. Fortunately, the green Chozo saw him coming and blocked the attack with his own enhanced claws.
"Blood Moon??!! What in Cataris's hell are you doing??"
"BURN IT!! BURN IT TO ASHES!! BURN IT!!!!" Blood Moon screamed, absolutely enraged.
"BLOOD MOON!!" Fire Eyes shouted at his commander's meltdown. Luckily, Solid Rock was quick to act and restrained the screeching Blood Moon.
"Blood Moon!! Calm yourself this instant!!" Fire Eyes said, running towards him and grabbing his face, forcing him to look at him.
Blood Moon stared at Fire Eyes for some time, loudly breathing. Fortunately, the crazed Mawkin slowly calmed down and his mind became slightly clearer.
"I... I need some time alone. Have the 'Brijes begin the transfer to the fox's lair." he muttered, rudely getting out of Solid Rock's grasp. Fire Eyes glanced at the embroidery and was quick to deduce what triggered so much Blood Moon.
"Blood Moon, I-"
"I said, I want to be alone." Blood Moon hissed in anger, going towards a big rock before sitting behind it, hidden.
While Wild Sea helped Lightning Claws get up and checked on him, Fire Eyes took the embroidery and stared at it.
"Oh, Blood Moon..." Solid Rock sighed sadly.
Wordlessly, Fire Eyes turned towards the 'Brijes and looked at them, mainly Knox with a sad, tired expression.
The Mawkin then gave the embroidery to the trio. He wasn't sure why, but he had a feeling he was doing the right thing.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."

Season 218/Eye-Sicle's Lair
(Dupe!No-Feet returns to where he set up camp.)
What's going on here? (He cries. A green blob is rebounding around the camp and making a huge mess.)
(Eventually it stops and takes the shape of a vaguely frog-like creature.) Hi! You've got a nice camp! (He says.)
Erm, thank you, but you really have to go. (No-Feet says.) NOW.
Oh, no problem! See ya 'round the galaxy! (The alien turns into a ball and rolls away.)
What the blazes was that in No-Feet's camp? (Eye-Sicle asks.)
Oh, that was an alien from a distant planet, sir. I wonder how he got there. (Stanford says.)
(Everyone watches in absolute shock as Snape summons Voldemort to fight Dupe!No-Feet...and No-Feet WINS.)
Oh, I know I can't do that... (The original No-Feet says.)
What is up with this snake, man? Your clonin' remote messin' up or something, Stokes? (Eye-Sicle shouts.)
(Stanford has a very bad feeling, but before he can say anything about it, a notification comes up saying that today is Dave's birthday.) Oh, today is Dave's birthday, sir.
Well, tell him we said happy birthday, then! (Eye-Sicle says.)
(Stanford does so.) (Those of us at Eye-Sicle's wish you a happy birthday, Dave. I hope you are having a wonderful day.)
Whispering Pines
(Dess finishes their food in record time.) Mm-MMM! That hit th' spot! (They say.) I'm gonna get me some more!
Aren't you worried about getting sick? (Dinah asks.)
Ma'am, I'm already dead. I could eat for hours and be right as rain afterward! (Dess says, piling up their plate again.)
(Dinah looks a bit miffed. She looks around for a moment at everything and mutters:) This is one of the strangest gatherings I've ever been to...and that's saying a lot.
(A moment later, Benji asks the group:) So, fellas, any plans for the day after this?
(Phoebe's still somewhat visible through the bushes, and she is visibly starting to shrink back down to a normal Huntail's size, indicating that she did indeed drink more of her disguising potion.)
I know she'll be ready one day. (Stellan says. But then he sighs and hangs his head.) But now I wonder...maybe I'm pushing her too hard to reintegrate herself back into Whispering Pines? It was my idea to take her here today after all. I just...I just hated that she had isolated herself for so long.
Beach City

(Knox looks like he's going to vomit at the sight of some of the things Lightning Claws brought out, as though he's recognizing them and it's scaring him.)
(But before that happens, something about the embroidery REALLY upsets Blood Moon and he demands that it be destroyed, to the point that he gets violent with his own teammates.)
(Blood Moon, fortunately, leaves for a moment to cool back down. Fire Eyes gives the embroidery to them, and Veena takes it.)
(Looking at the embroidery, Veena is very worried about what may have happened to the family that lived here before, especially given that a lot of the family's belongings still appear to be here even after Short Stuff moved in AND the graves out front (assuming one of them isn't indeed Short Stuff's friend Hickory).)
Knox...do you know what happened here? You know we can already tell you know more about this place than you're letting in on. (Veena asks.)
...Okay, fine, ya got me. Yeah, I do. But I ain't gonna talk about it here. Not now. (Knox snarls.)
(He slaps one of the bracers made for the alternate Stanfords onto Short Stuff's wrist and transports the wolf to Dark Stanford's lair.)

The Arena
Data Berdly was going about his night when Nearl suddenly steals his Halbird and gives it to 999.
"Hey! Give that back, you thief!" shouts the bird.
He chases her all night, but loses track of her the next day, so he decides to find Nemo with Reinal, Muriel, and Dream instead. He scans the area with his Smart Scouter and leads the team to where Nemo's hiding, but the young clownfish suddenly ambushes them and kills them all.
"But... but how...?" Berdly mutters before he collapses.
Meanwhile, Data Antonio tries cooking rice, but doesn't wash it first, causing Solid Snake to have a mental breakdown. The young Madrigal then runs into Deborahbot again and impulsively tries dismantling his throat, but he remembers the family code and boops him in where his nose would be instead.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't like it when you caught me for things I didn't do!"
I got Ichi's blessing to write this extended scene with Snape, and also had Psyche's blessing post-retirement to make the V Incident tribute this season V's Bogggart, as discussed on the server. Also, the V Incident's true form was designed by yours truly.
"That serpent..." Snape mutters to himself, "He must be as horrible as Nagini if he was able to kill him..."
He contemplates on recent events as he recovers from his fractured kneecaps thanks to the Skele-Gro he took the other day. He recently heard rumours in the Arena about two Muggle boys who went through so much pain and suffering in one season, and that the Dark Lord was involved in one of them becoming corrupted. Snape surmises that Voldemort had wanted to recruit one of them as a Death Eater, so the former Potions Master decided to put a stop to him, even if he was many seasons too late. He casted a powerful necromancy spell to summon Voldemort into the Arena and sent him at any of the stronger tributes to destroy him for good, but to his surprise, an ordinary garden snake managed to kill him in battle.
But then Snape recalls another tribute he saw at the start of this season: a mysterious creature cloaked in smoke that traumatised those two Muggle boys on their podiums.
"What kind of terrifying monster was that if they were driven into paranoia for days on end? If those rumours are true... then I must banish this creature before it tortures them even more!"
Once he has fully recovered, Snape scouts the Arena for the monster. He eventually finds the same smoke cloud and points his wand at it, but he steps back when it manifests its true form: an eldritch monster that no Magizoologist has ever seen before. Its Muggle vending machine body glows bright blue lines on its sides, it breathes a noxious gas that smells like pure cannabis through its nostrils, and is carrying President Snow's corpse in its teeth.
"This cannot be a Boggart... can it?" Snape asks himself, covering his nose with his cloak from the stench. If the Boggart didn't transform into Voldemort, then why did it assume this form instead?
The monster then drops the corpse in front of him and roars at V and Jimin, who are cowering from the spiders crawling into their camps.
"So it must be their Boggart instead," Snape concludes. "Only the one who fears it can cast the counterspell to banish it, but they lack the magic to do it..."
With no other choice, Snape fights the monster itself by firing an arsenal of spells at it. It screeches in agony as it gets hit, but it resists all of them and retaliates. As they battle, Snape tries using every last combat spell he knows while trying his best not to inhale the gas, but suddenly, he fires a peculiar spell that not only stuns the Boggart like Petrificus Totalus, but also freezes time around it. Snape doesn't question this new spell or its legality and holds the Boggart in place as he grabs a nearby scythe. He then charges at the monster and slices its torso with his other hand, making it bleed various sodas. And finally, he snaps his fingers and makes it explode with Bombarda Maxima.
Snape then quickly casts Protego to shield himself from the explosion as time around it resumes. He then escapes the blast range and runs past V and Jimin, wishing them luck before leaving them behind.
The Database Library, Basement
6k1 picks up her phone and was about to follow-up Mr. Star about Elfilin when she sees what has been going on at the Arena recently. Her jaw just drops, and her fingers are too frozen to send her brother a birthday greeting.
I hope CAC gets out of this hostage situation though... she thinks, I was lucky that PJ rescued me (technically my clone) from The Undertaker back in S152... Also I think I might have to reconsider my vacation unless Nemo was cloned...

Geez, that was something... Hopefully, no asshole would try to copy that outside of the arena. he thought.

"Bah! You'll get used to it!" Alex said to Dinah. The Charmeleon couldn't help but be impressed By Dess's huge hunger.
"Hmmm... One thing is sure, we are staying here to rest a bit. With that said, I wouldn't mind giving a claw to the folks here in case they need help, and I know Aaron and Alex can do that too. Most of our usual missions are also just helping folks with small problems." Tokage answered Benji.
"Oh no, I understand completely and it was a good idea! She just needs time, that's all. It already took some time for her to accept helping us against her counterparts because she was scared. But I'm sure she will be able to reintegrate herself. She deserves having a second life here." Aaron answered Stellan.
Once Phoebe was ready, Aaron waved at her and her friend to follow him inside.

Arthur raised his eyebrows when Henry mentioned having forced others to praise him in the past... Just like the alternate Henry did under Phoebe-V's control. The Decidueye was glad that the Flygon he knew turned out to be much better than this.
"Have no fear, dear friend. If you ever meet with the rest of your family, I believe you and your teammates can convince them you have changed for the greater good! It will be my immense pleasure to assist you in this task if necessary!" James said to Henry, putting a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder.
"Man, someone's getting a lot of praises today... But you deserve them, especially after yesterday. You and Shelley sure saved Tenn from Phoebe-V in one of the most ballsy ways I've ever seen." Nick said to Henry as he finished his snack too alongside the others while waiting for Millie and Wes to move on.
Hanubia, decades ago
It was nighttime, and the endless storm was getting stronger than ever. Solid Rock was absent, patrolling the area with other soldiers while the rest of Brave Spear's squad was sleeping.
At least, Fire Eyes, Wild Sea and Lightning Claws were. Not Blood Moon. Somehow, the Mawkin found it hard to fall asleep tonight. Wearing a simple red robe, he was stoically watching the violent storm from a balcony. He watched as a bolt of lightning illuminated the sky.
Thunder could be deadly on ZDR. He remembered having witness one or two aliens who were unlucky and got hit by it.
Their corpses had fascinated him. Killing someone and having control of their lives was the ultimate proof that one was stronger than the other in Blood Moon's violent mind.
Hearing some noises, Blood Moon turned around to face Brave Spear. He too was wearing a more casual robe instead of armor.
"Well... It is a rare sight to see you without your armor, Blood Moon." Brave Spear remarked.
"Urgh, shut your mouth." the hot-tempered warrior hissed. He sounded more nervous than usual.
"Still not believing we told the others about you-know-what?" Brave Spear asked.
"Perhaps... I still remember Fire Eyes's moronic smirk when we did." Blood Moon complained, folding his arms.
"What did you expect? But you know he wishes the best for you, as do the others." Brave Spear laughed.
"Hmph... And I have my thoughts elsewhere." Blood Moon said.
"Like our upcoming mission on SR388 to help the Thoha, I suppose."
"Yes. I do not have time for a petty relationship like this. It is counterproductive. My training and missions are supposed to come first. I am a mighty warrior, not a weak sentimentalist. And you are a general. We are Mawkin." Blood Moon proudly hissed.
"We are warriors, yes. But we are not killing machines. We can feel. Even warriors such as us need distractions and... intimate moments."
Brave Spear then looked at Blood Moon and gently grabbed his claw.
"Besides... You have to admit you enjoy our time together."
Blood Moon... smirked nervously and rubbed his head. He was trying hard, not to blush.
"Look at you... The proud, bloodthirsty Blood Moon being scared of having his claw grabbed." Brave Spear teased.
"Silence, you cretin... Fine, let's go to your room." Blood Moon groaned. The two warriors discreetly went to Brave Spear's room. It was filled with various Mawkin banners... Banners that Brave Spear made himself.
Blood Moon's passion was war and fighting. Fire Eyes's ones were old temples, ceremonies, spirituality, and meditation. Brave's Spear secret one? It was sewing.
Once inside, the two warriors stripped themselves from their clothes. Brave Spear laid on the bed and then waved at Blood Moon to come. The normally fierce Chozo looked bashful.
"Do I scare you, oh fearsome warrior?" Brave Spear teased.
"Of course not, you fool! I just... need time." Blood Moon hissed as he pressed his body against Brave Spear.
"You know... I believe Lord Raven Beak's elite soldiers have taken a certain interest in me. Perhaps I might join them with time if I keep serving well."
"Really? You should be proud of yourself, you bastard. Serving as our lord's personal guard is a great honor. And you get to wear shining golden armors and royal capes."
"Indeed... I am still hesitating between you and Fire Eyes as to who should lead the squad in my absence. I would trust our dear friend more but he is too modest and will certainly refuse."
"Of course, he would not... Fire Eyes does not have what it takes to rule. I enjoy him, but I swear if he had no fighting skills, he would belong with the Chozo on Tallon IV." Blood Moon giggled, caressing Brave Spear's muscular chest.
"Still, it would be an honor to lead in your stead. I will not disappoint you."
"I know you will not. Now, my beautiful moon... Shine for me, will you?" Brave Spear giggled before passionately kissing Blood Moon. Blood Moon closed his eyes and eagerly returned the favor. The bloodthirsty warrior felt at peace.
Small caws and groans of pleasure eventually echoed from within the room.
Tutter's Hill
Blood Moon opened his eyes again. He watched his claw with an unreadable expression. The visions were gone, but the memory was still vivid in his mind.
He hated it.
After some minutes, Blood Moon joined the other Chozo just as Lightning Claws was done with Short Stuff's... stuff.
"Do you feel better?" Wild Sea asked.
"I do... I am sorry Lightning Claws." Blood Moon sighed. A bit surprised, the green Chozo silently nodded.
"Do... Do you want to talk about this?" Fire Eyes asked, approaching his commander. Blood Moon hissed and turned away, not willing to and focusing back on the matter at hand.
"Is the transfer done?"
"It is. Short Stuff and his experiments have all been sent to Stokes." Solid Rock said.
"Then we have no more reason to stay here. 'Brijes. Send us back." Blood Moon ordered.
Fire Eyes glanced at the 'Brijes talking together. He didn't intend to join them in their quarters. Whatever Knox had to say to his partners, it was something they had to settle on their own.

If Gregor and I weren't all the way out here in Chesapeake and it wasn't wintertime, we'd hurry right over to watch your little one hatch! Sorry it isn't the right time of year to visit. After Amethyst and Peridot had returned, they had been quick to get the rest of the Crystal Gems up to speed tried to process what had happened in the latest days. After gathering in the temple to try and arrange what they would do next, they had decided to keep things running normally in Little Homeworld, but they had been sure to try and inform the current president of Homeworld, Defense Zircon, so that a basic defense could be up to deal with possible threats in the future.
Amethyst: You know guys, I really don't want to pressure her should we really break the news this way?
Pearl: Amethyst, we got no time for taking things slowly.
Bismuth: We saw that those guys are willing to get innocents killed, we can't let any human, gem or other aliens that could be out there get further hurt.
Garnet: We were not ready for the latest big crisis and if events happen as I've foreseen we could see something worse than we could imagine come our way. "Otaru", those words that were said somehow gave me visions of a ruined future far worse than anything before.
Lapis: And did you see anything that could tell us how to specifically stop that future?
Garnet: Not quite, this threat doesn't belongs to our world and what little I know about it can only describe the destruction that will follow suit if it emerges. All else is beyond my knowledge for now.
Peridot: Well that leaves us with little options but to try and see what's going on.
Lapis: We need to make sure that we are aware of what's going on in every corner of the world. If a spaceship could avoid all detection there could be a giant monster sleeping underneath this city right now!
Peridot: What would bring that conclusion to you, Lapis?
Lapis: I saw it in a movie once, it sounds crazy and illogical but the spaceship part also happened there and I felt that could not be so farfetched.
Amethyst: Fair enough.
Just then they were finally responded to by Defense Zircon, who was in her office in a rather calm day, simply checking a few of the colonies that were still in the process of being dismantled.
Defense!Zircon: Good day, Crystal Gems, I see you have an urgent emergency you want me to attend to. What would it be?
Garnet: We'll need you to put all of Homeworld and every place you can on high alert. There is trouble coming and we'll need all of Homeworld to be ready.
Defense!Zircon: What kind of trouble is that which you refer to?

Defense!Zircon: So that looks like a lot to unpack. Let me start typing it down so I can be sure to not miss even a single thing about this report.
As Garnet filled in the details, with the other Gems providing whatever clarifications she'd needed, Beach City got the visit from the monster sent by Dark Bale's forces, it was the Action Commander Stargull who startled the people with his threats.
Stargull: Run, pathetic humans and gems, the Action Commander Stargull is here!
With him, a squadron of 30 Gormin
◊ had arrived. They took turns intimidating everyone into running away, while Stargull advanced towards the Gem Temple, easily knocking away those who tried to attack him as he made his advance, while the Gems were unaware as they finished giving their report to Defense Zircon. Only to soon hear the monster outside trying to get in.
Bismuth: Ms. President, we'll need to take a leave some ruffians are up on our necks right now.
Defense!Zircon: Oh I see, don't worry we've got you covered and I will make sure that all Gems are aware of what could be coming.
Pearl: Guess they came in faster than we thought.
Amethyst: Crap, we've gotta do this stuff so quickly?
Garnet: Everyone let's go and deal with whoever's coming.
The group then went outside as they were ready to deal with the intruder at once. Meanwhile, two figures emerged from afar in the same position as Stargull did, it was both the monster Wangawanga
◊ and the taller hooded figure who hummed to themself as they watched panic abound among the attacked people.
???: Take their negative emotions, Wanganwanga, we got some harvesting to do.
Wangawanga: Hehehehe, at once master!
The monster then non-fatally stabbed the people with his spear, leaving a spatious non-bloody hole that closed without any harm either, causing the people to faint from shock albeit very much alive, Wangawanga gave chase to those who tried to flee from him as his master watched without much of a reaction.
Lucina's message was received and Bale decided to receiver her in his base so they could start thinking of how to combat what was coming and save Meta Knight from wherever he was.
Lucina: Greetings, Bale, I am here to see how can I be of help to your cause and to stop the new threat that has arisen.
But as they talked, problems arose in his head as he was pretty unsure of how to act next as he knew he and his tribute were not particularly on good terms with each other.
Bale: So... Mind to detail what you wanted to speak with me about your help with Dark Bale, Lucina?
Lucina: Right, I wanted to aid you in this quest you'll be in. I saw you fight Dark Bale and I believe we could stand a chance against that evil being's forces. We just need a small squadron of you, other tributes and those nominator friends of yours. My world has gotten ready for any possible attacks so we can be assured that there won't be an issue with getting ready to fight.
Bale: That's good to hear, Lucina, I believe that would be the best course of action. But I need to see which folks I'd recruit.
Lucina: Don't take too long on it, Bale, we may not have too much time on our hands.
Bale: I'm aware of that. Give me a sec.
As he did he looked up his list of tributes, hoping to see his more successful ones being worth their salt for a prolonged quest.

The Arena
Bigtavia approaches Data Antonio and compares this season to the last one.
"This one's better because my abuela's not here!" Antonio replies.
He then gets kicked in the groin by a random bully so hard the next day, he completely forgets how to use his Gift. Antonio screams the whole day, then tries getting it off by playing a video game, and he manages to defeat the Final Boss. He then encounters another gamer, at the Feast, and the young Madrigal is amazed by Markiplier's Minecraft creation. Antonio boosts Markiplier's server, and he gives him a glass of Colombian-style chocolate milk in return.
Antonio then finds some strange nanoscopic machines and tinkers with them, but they suddenly fuse with his body. Tok Aba then tries killing him, but is shocked that he managed to survive.
"I... I don't know..." says Antonio, "I think it's these weird metal things that got stuck to me..."
He escapes with his newfound immortality and runs into Nemo. Unaware of what the clownfish had done up until this point, Antonio innocently tells him a joke, even if he can't remember if he can still talk to animals.
"What do you get when you cross Tok Aba with Markiplier? A big-brained old gamer!"
Bigtavia then drops by again the next day to give Antonio what seems to be the Heart of Te Fiti, but he realizes that some glowing algae got stuck to his hands.
"It's just a rock?"
Later that night, Doug Dimmadome uses his normal hand to stab a bamboo shoot under Antonio's nails, and the next day, Nearl tries striking him in the groin again, only to hit him in the nose instead. Antonio just reels in pain and wishes that his aunt Julieta were here to heal him.
The Database Library, Basement
6k1 still can't believe what she just saw. Snape managed to dodge Markiplier's "legendary" flying machine, and then cast the Killing Curse on No-Feet for calling his coffee brulée "coffee salsa"... only for the extremely disfigured zombified Snow to execute Snape for that. While destroying the V Incident was one thing, for Snow, killing that snake over coffee was going too far.
Thinking that Mr. Star's also reeling from the season, 6k1 greets Dave a happy birthday while waiting for Mr. Star to recover.
Power's Home
"... If you don't mind either," says Power, "may I call my brother for a moment?"
"Yes, why?" asks Alphys.
"It's his Earth Prime birthday today!"
"Oh! Tell him I'm also greeting him the same!"
"I will!"
Power puts the call on hold and calls Starfall on his special day.
Funland, Ring Toss —> Food Stalls
"Okay then," says Peridot, "let's go!"
"I'm glad you had fun with us!" adds Lapis.
Larimar smiles and waves goodbye to them as they regroup with the others. There, the other Crystal Gems all greet them when they arrive.
"Yo Peri!" says Amethyst. "You and Lapis having as much fun as we are?"
"Indeed we are, Ams! We played the same ring toss game we did before and our new friends just won the grand prize!"
Peridot gestures to Wes and Millie's teddy bear while Lapis looks at Henry's crystal ball.
"And who is that?" she asks him.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
Léodagan, the Bloodthirsty
Scipion's lair/Arena
"Urgh... Another season wasted. The damn kid could have done better. Now who to nomina-" Scipion said.
"Ermm... Scipion? Someone just nominated for us." Morgan pointed out, a bit surprised.
"Wait what do you..." Scipion asked... only to widen his eyes in shock at the sight of... everything in existence and... something that looked more chaotic than YOU. Was it a clone of him? Of Aaron? Of the Multiverse? Did that make two of each of them in the arena? He wasn't sure and that freaked him out.
And to make things worse... his past self was on a podium. Well... He was on 3 podiums at the same time technically. The one by himself, the one with everything, and the weird creature that assumed his form in the Zoroark's eyes.
"Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME??? DO THOSE BRAINDEAD GAME MAKERS WANT TO MAKE ANOTHER GREAT DESTRUCTION AGAIN??? WHO THE FUCK DARED NOMINATING THESE TWO??? DON'T TELL ME MY PAST SELF IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING A-AND... ANYTHING??!! AAACNOHPOHHNEBRGRTT!!!!!" Scipion roared, losing his mind.
"Erm... Should we tell him that all of those guys are probably cloned?" Onox asked Morgan.
"Nah. Let him freak out a bit. It's fun when he does that."
Contrasting Scipion, back in the arena OT!Scipion looked absolutely calm, if not amused, and he simply waved at his... counterparts? Clones? No one but him knew. In any case, they bore the exact same expression as the mad mummy and they waved back.
"Heeheee... It has been such a looong time since I participated myself... I feel good. This brings back so many memories. And many old friends with me here. No matter who wins this season, the possibilities truly are... endless...!" he jubilated, sounding happier than usual.
Whispering Pines
"Oh, of course. We'll still check the rescue boards you have here in case." Tokage calmly said to Benji.
Then, Aaron, Stellan, and "Gomer" entered. Though he lacked Aaron and Lucy's aura abilities, Proteus rubbed his chin, having a strange feeling about the Huntail.
Then there was Squishy, but that was more because it never met them before. The creature walked towards Phoebe and Stellan and gurgled in front of them for a moment. By this point though, the huge Metroid got used to the Pokémons around it and it eventually left to go back near Oscar and Lucian.
"Uh! I didn't know Phoebe had a Huntail friend! Nice to meet ya!" Alex exclaimed.
"Phoebe didn't come? That's a shame..." Tokage sighed.
"Y-Yeah... But I understand why she didn't come. I hope one day she will." Lucian said. He then turned to Tokage.
"But... If you and Aaron are leaving... W-What about me?"
"Relaaaaax Lulu. Kiki's gonna be with you and now you even have Squishy to protect you! You could walk around the town or just stay here!" Alex reassured.
"O-Okay... Gosh I don't think I'm getting used to Alex calling you "Kiki"... I admit it's cute, though." Lucian chuckled to Oscar.
Beach City Funland
"Henry has a communicator that allows him to go to other worlds. With that they'll believe him." Nick said to Maran.
Shelley's scream startled James and though he didn't scream, his tail comically rose in the air.
"Yeah don't worry everything's alright! They're friends from another rescue team. They must have won some games in the carnival we are in to have such a big plushie." the Cinderace said.
"Damn... Seriously, that otherwordly carnival is great. You two should try it one day! There's a lot of stuff and there are even insane rides we don't have! Like there's that big cart where you go at high speed and you go up and down and upside-down or that thing that spins you around and you're literally stuck against the wall and you scream your heart out! You should have seen James and Henry's reactions to those!" Nick exclaimed at Sunny and Maran.
"W-Well... Those rides are definitely intense, not for the faint-hearted. Of course, our first reaction was... something. But those are simple details, I assure you!" James justified himself, embarrassed.
"Henry's brother and one of his friends. They're checking on Henry. I guess you two must be Steven's other friends." Arthur said to Lapis.
"Ah! Wes, Millie! I am glad you... survived the rides you went on." James said.
"Yeah. You sure looked like you had fun. Don't worry about Shelby, Shelley took good care of her." Nick said to the married couple.
"Anywho... We were thinking about trying the Mirror Labyrinth next, with the gems as a single team, me and Arthur, James and Henry, Shelley and Shelby, and Steven and Connie. Want to join us?" Arthur asked the duo and the other gems.
Dark Stanford's lair
Blood Moon didn't leave his room for a moment after he returned, asking his teammates to not bother him. Of course, Fire Eyes insisted, but Blood Moon dismissed him.
As he was busy cleaning his spear, he received a communication. The grumpy Mawkin widened his eyes.
Blood Moon immediately kneeled as Raven Beak's hologram appeared, the Mawkin leader stoically folding his arms on his throne.
"My lord, Ashkar Behek." Blood Moon greeted.
"Commander Blood Moon. I want a report on you status and on Stokes." Raven Beak coldly ordered. Blood Moon obeyed and told the warlord about everything that has happened so far.
"I see... This Short Stuff managed to come with clever inventions." Raven Beak pondered. Blood Moon nodded, then frowned.
"Actually... I do not even think our Stanford ever manage to create such potions. Perhaps he is not the smartest of his kin as we thought..."
"I did not choose this Stanford for his intelligence. Whatever his counterpart has done, I expect him to assimilate his knowledge and use it for us through whatever means necessary." Raven Beak said.
"Because of the Great Destruction, this fox has lost something that all others have... Restrain. He is determined to fulfill his pathetic goals no matter what. His disregard for life makes him much more competent than the other Stanfords. They are like the Thoha tribe. Weak. cowards without vision. And soon, those counterparts will share the same fate as those fools. Erased from history." the warlord coldly continued. Blood Moon silently took in his leader's words.
"I shall soon send Stokes one of our war hounds for him to improve upon. He is to prove to me his biological skills. If he satisfies me, he will be critical to my plans."
"Yes, my lord... In that case, my squad will make sure the nominators or the rebellious leagues will not go after him." Blood Moon said.
"Perhaps you will stay less long than expected... I am considering relocating the fox and his minions from the Voidlands directly to ZDR. I must assume direct control of his operations, and I will not allow any of our enemies to know about our alliance. Even as Dark Bale's forces are already focusing on their fight with the nominators, I will not take any chances." Raven Beak said. The warlord then got up.
"Do not fail me commander Blood Moon. I granted you power that no other Mawkin has, and I expect efficient use of it. If you serve well, you will gain the place former commander Brave Spear would have gained at my side before his unfortunate death." Raven Beak dryly said. Blood Moon lowered his head in respect, but also to hide his expression of anger.
He knew well what Raven Beak meant by "unfortunate death." The warlord always knew to put salt in the wound whenever necessary to remind others of their places. Beneath him.
"Of course... I live to serve, Lord Raven Beak."

"Happy birthday, my dear. I hope the next year will be better than the last," says Fira, who is sitting with Dave in the dining room. She affectionately kisses him on the cheek.
"Thanks, Fira. So do I."
Hans enters the room with the kids.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FATHER! WE LOVE YOU!" the children say in unison, as they rush to hug their adoptive father. Dave laughs as he hugs them back.
"Thank you, children. I love you too."
Hans also congratulates his best friend and liege, before passing along the happy birthday messages from the other nominators.
Thank you for the kind words. I am ever so grateful for it, he says back to the ones who had messaged him.
"In other news, my friend.... I hate to spoil the mood a little, but.... It's Nemo."
"What? You did clone him for the season, right?"
"I did, and I am grateful to have had done it, because...."
He plays a recap of what had happened.
".... Shit. I didn't expect to see that. I.... Best not to inform him of the details, for now. I do not wish for him to be emotionally compromised during our visit to his area later."
"What shall I tell him?"
"Inform him only that his clone won the season. We'll tell the full story after the vacation."

"We shan't discuss that for now. This is a joyous moment, and one we should be celebrating for. C'mon dear, would you like some cake? I can make one for us."

"She had before. It was for a charity party, I think. You mean you weren't informed?"
Dave only shakes his head.
"My bad. I received compliments that time, though, so I hope you'll love this one."

In his home in Dodge Junction, Starfall wakes up to a good day so far. Then he receives a call from his sister.
"Hey sis, thanks for the call! And I want to tell you a belated happy birthday, and I'm sorry for the lack of presents for now. I'll make it up to you soon, I promise."
The Hidden Dimension, earlier
In the audience chambers, Lady Babylon is speaking with Master Xehanort.
"How was it?" the former says.
"The whole EVERYTHING cloning? Stellar, my Lady," the old Keyblade Master replies. "Now, about this Dark Bale...."
"So he has finally revealed his true identity.... Let him act as he wishes for now. We mustn't renegede on our deal with his forces, after all.... unless they betray us first, that is."
"Understood. Now, about this other tribute I see...."
Lady Babylon raises an eyebrow at that.
"The one that seems to change forms depending on how we want to see it...."
The lady only smiles.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."

Part 2: A New Reality
Soon the Gems were engaged in a battle. While they were able to quickly wipe out the squadrons sent alongside the main foe Stargull, said foe introduced himself to them.
Pearl: Who are you and what is your purpose here?
Stargull: Pardon me, where are my manners? I am the Great General Stargull of the Extradimensional Group Anoshki, I came here for a reason that I won't explain, did you actually think I would do that?
Amethyst: Whatever you're after we won't let you have it.
Stargull: Then I'll have to grind you all into dust!
As he said his threat he fired a blue beam of energy from his mouth, scattering his foes.
Bismuth: Oof, I feel that this being is going to be quite troublesome.
Lapis: One punch into the ocean will do!
As she tried to use a water fist attack, Stargull saw it coming and charged a lightning blast that hit Lapis while she threw the punch and giving no time for her to react, poofed her.
Stargull: Heh, did you think I wouldn't be ready for that?
Amethyst: Aw jeez, we've gotta be careful.
Peridot quickly went to pick up her friends' gemstone before opting to try and get the modified Inpelaizer.
Peridot: I saw a thing like this in a series that Amethyst, Lapis and I binge-watched.
Amethyst: You think he's going to go giant when we defeat him?
Peridot: I'm sure he will. Give me some time to get our robot ready
As she ran off, the other Gems kept up the offensive against Stargull, giving the general no time to react, enraged the General tried his best to fend off his attackers ending up rather beaten up instead.
Stargull: Goddammit, this isn't going the way it should be going.
Eventually he was knocked down into the ground and saw that the Gems were ready to take him out.
Bismuth: Time to finish this.
Stargull: Oh no!
However before he could be finished off a cannon shot blasted the gems away.
Amethyst: What the?
Zahab: You useless fish, I can't believe they entrusted you with something important!
Stargull: Lord Zahab, you're here!
Zahab: Quit the bootlicking, I am here to ensure you don't fail your mission.
The pirate captain then used his mechanical hand to summon a whip and start hitting the Gems with it, proving far stronger than Stargull had been and knocking several of them aside, though they weren't poofed to their luck. Garnet attempted to use her future vision to know what was coming but this new foe was completely unknown to her and she could barely make up what he'll do next.
Zahab: Hateable little things, you won't be escaping us.
Stargull: Shall we join forces, sir?
Zahab: Of course, let's give them a taste of true power!
The two then were surrounded by a dark aura as they charged an attack to blast the Gems with, who all were cornered and unable to fend them off, but before the attack hit two figures struck the two attacking monsters and knocked them off-balance.
Zahab: What in the hell is going on?
Stargull: Whoever did that show yourselves!
The two figures were then revealed to be the monster Wangawanga who eagerly bit his spear and his master, Duke Org Rouki

Stargull: N-No way, it's the Duke Org Rouki!
Rouki: Yes, shut up.
Zahab: Wangawanga? You dirty traitor.
Wangawanga: You were the first traitor Zahab, by siding with those guys and their insane plans.
Zahab: How dare you mouth me off!?
Rouki: Crystal Gems, we need to work together to bring down these foes. None of us can take them on our own.
The Gems were skeptic of the Duke Org's words, as he looked decidedly wicked but figured that if he was helping then they had to help him out and his lackey.
Garnet: Everyone, let's surround them.
Pearl: Got it!
Amethyst: I'll show you guys what I can do!
Amethyst then started spinning around and created a dust tornado around the two with her speed. Meanwhile Rouki pulled out his blade and prepared to rush in and strike, alongside Bismuth, Pearl and Garnet. Once ready the three charged in towards the confused villain duo and struck them with all their might, successfully downing Stargull, who exploded into pieces, and wounding Zahab enough to force him to pull out and retreat.
Stargull: Ugh, I failed, I am real sorry, Captain!
Zahab: Argh, how dare you all defy and force us back like this. This won't stand unpunished. Time to put you useless fish to work.
Zahab then pulled out a gray capsule which he threw at the remains of Stargull, causing them to reanimate, reassemble and grow into a giant size.
Zahab: Do your worst, Stargull.
The now mindless general then tried to stomp on the Gems as Zahab retreated.
Amethyst: Oh she called it alright, let's just hope she's gotten that robot up and running after tinkering.
Soon enough Peridot emerged with the modified Inpelaizer now spotting a green gem-like exterior with a softer looking armor adorned with a symbol of a Peridot gem in its chest section.
Peridot: I called it! Now it's the time for big fighting.
As they saw that, Rouki just growled along with Wangawanga as Rouki managed to feel with his enhanced senses that a third major general had snuck by them, without further thinking they dashed towards the Temple's core where the Gem Heart was, Garnet and Pearl took notice and went to catch up to them, believing them to be after the Gem Heart themselves.
Pearl: Those two they took this chance to slip by us.
Garnet: Let's catch them now!
As they gave chase, Peridot fought and easily beat her opponent before using the robot's blade to slice it in half. The people witnessed the destruction and cheered on, their fear and negative emotions having been taken by Wangawanga and relieved to see the giant beaten. Peridot then briefly opened her cockpit to celebrate while Amethyst turned into a bird and flew up to her
Peridot: Oh yeah, I should get a job as a monster fighter!
Amethyst: You're the best at that, Peri! I got to admit that your way of using that robot was quite attractive.
Peridot: Oh thanks a lot that was a good compliment, Amy.
Soon enough they noticed Pearl and Garnet along with the other party missing and decided to go after them as well along with Bismuth.
Amethyst: So where's Lapis' gem?
Peridot: I got it safely placed in a hidden part of the Temple, she should reform soon.
As Bale and Lucina worked out what to do next while Bale finished his list of wanted help against Dark Bale, Bale saw that today it was Dave's birthday and decided to give him a quick recorded call to celebrate it.
Bale: Hey Dave, here's a message from me and my crew, I wish you a happy birthday to you and your family!
MG, MD and Diny all came into the scene to give their own greetings each to Dave.
MG: Happy Birthday, David Man.
MD: May you get some good stuff.
Diny: I wish you and your family a happy birthday party!
Lucina was struck a bit by what she'd heard from Bale's Pokemon, that other Nominator had a family of his own. She was worried what could happen to them if Dark Bale had his way, especially given that it was unlikely that he'd actually stand down if he revealed himself.
Lucina: Bale, if that man has a family we need to get more proactive now. We can't let him lose his
Bale: You're right but we need to finish doing a list of possible allies first, if we go in blind we could pay for it dearly.
As the two continued to talk with each other, MG, MD and Diny speculated among themselves.
MG: I wonder if those two can become friends again. The future is uncertain.
MD: True, perhaps some life-and-death situations will bring them closer together.
Diny: Let's hope it's not too many situations, heh, it would be really bad if they were in serious danger constantly.
MG: Fair enough.
MD: But do you think Dark Bale could have dark versions of ourselves?
MG: Probably not, he'd likely not stand any possible wacky teammates or servants that aren't necessary.
Diny: Maybe he had but killed them for being too useless?
MG: Hey don't start doomsaying, that could lead to projecting that onto yourself.

Data Antonio wears a shirt that says "No Regerts", not knowing what it means because it's misspelled, and tries escaping the Arena, but suddenly, a certain clownfish ambushes him and destroys his nanomachines. Antonio cries as what he thought was an innocent animal brutally beats him up somehow, so he flops on the ground and plays dead, hoping that Nemo would just leave him alone...
But he was wrong. Moments later, Nemo returns to Antonio's spot and catches him breathing, so he beats him up once more until he's all battered, bruised, and most importantly, not breathing anymore.
The Database Library, Basement
Snape sure has come a long way since I first nominated him in OT S17, where he got dunked on by Sans, huh?
6k1 takes a little more time to contemplate all of this, then receives the report that the real Antonio didn't have his memories transferred from his clone because of how much he suffered in the Arena. He may not have been fully involved in the V Incident plot, but at least he helped Snape in one of his battles.
6k1 then takes a deep breath. Sure, she's right to be mad at Nemo for killing Antonio along with four others... but how can she stay mad when he finally won and got the most kills in this timeline, and under the nominator he's most loyal to, no less?
She smiles and texts Dave: Oh, and congrats to you and Nemo! Surely that season was a birthday blast for you, amirite? But are you sure that Nemo was cloned? Because I'm still planning that vacation and if we're going to visit him...
She then replies to Mr. Star: That's it? You nominated him because you wanted more representation from his universe? CAC, on the other hand, nominated that Sprigatito because it was cute, but I am going to wait until we have sufficient knowledge about these kinds of tributes. That being said, how is Elfilin's performance in his second season different from his first, now that new research about him has been published? Most notably, does he have a father, as Luca Blight claimed back in S209?
But after sending that text message, 6k1 just remembered something else about the full extent of timewrecking. She runs to her office and in panic, asks Ally, "Are you alright?!"
Power's Home
"It's okay!" says Power, "but speaking of birthdays, wanna come with me on 6k1's vacation to the Marine Life Institute or Great Barrier Reef? It'll be our treat!"
She then randomly glances at her cauldron's flames and does a double take at what seems to be Starfall on the podium.
"Brother...? Did you clone yourself or is that a stray Mirror Pool clone?"
Funland, Food Stalls
"Yes, Peridot and I are also Crystal Gems!" Lapis says to Arthur.
"But we didn't get along at first..." says Peridot.

YOU are one of the 48— scratch that, infinite number of tributes fighting in this season of the Hunger Games. It's a whole smorgasbord of tributes here, including, but not limited to, humans, animals of varying anthropomorphism, monsters, personifications, deities, eldritch beings, inanimate objects, abstract concepts, and the like. As a certain mummy Zoroark said, there are so many possibilities here, as anyone or Anything can be a tribute as long as they're not "controversial" by the Gamemakers' standards.
YOU, on the other hand, are special, or a wild card as they say. Except... are YOU really "YOURSELF"? As in... are YOU sure that YOU are the same being from S25, 50, and 176? Well... are YOU 6k1, who's busy researching about those tributes the Earth Primers barely know about right now? Or are YOU Power, who's reeling from everything that had transpired last season? Or maybe YOU are Ichi, who's most likely forkin' confused by YOUR mere existence, among others? Or perhaps YOU are Dave, Scipion , or Eye-Sicle... or even one of those nominators who either stayed behind from all those adventures outside the Arena or moved on to other endeavors.
But what if... YOU are not a nominator at all? What if YOU are one of the tributes here like Mei? Or one of those who just participated last season... like the V Incident itself? Or maybe YOU'RE one of those tributes from the far future that no Earth Primer is aware of just yet? Or what if... YOU are somehow all the possible tributes in existence... just like EVERYTHING?
YOU look at Mei on her podium, or rather, her data clone, and out of sheer confusion, she immediately turns into a giant red panda. What do YOU look like to her? Her mom? One of her friends or crushes? Robaire? Or maybe even all of 4*TOWN? YOU also look at the other tributes staring at YOU in a mixed bag of emotions, mostly in fear and confusion. Deep down, however, YOU also feel the same, regardless if they see YOU as a hero, villain, or whatever side of morality YOU'RE on.
But the bottom line is, no one here truly knows who YOU really are, or why YOU decided to join the Games. YOU... are just here. And whatever happens this season, YOU'RE ready for it... right?

"Urf... Way to go to ruin the fun if you're going to spoil everything for us." Arthur sighed at Peridot, unimpressed.
"Well... We do need someone to check on us in case we actually get lost in our competition. As much as I love gazing at my dashing body in mirrors, being trapped in such a place for the rest of my life is not something I would like." James said, rubbing his head. Arthur's already annoyed look only grew further and he face winged.
"Nobody's gonna get trapped and die in there. I might as well be with Peridot and make sure the rest of you are alright in that maze." Nick said with a shrug.
"Fair enough. I think we should move, then." Arthur said.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."
Not an evil Thievul
(With the season over and No-Feet and the casserole returned to where they came from, Eye-Sicle is feeling annoyed and a little bit bored. He looks at the list for who is next, and his sight darts over to the reserve list. He thinks for a moment about all of the times a reserve had to be skipped.)
You know what? Heck with it. Stokes, suspend the main tribute list and bring in any reserves who woulda gotten in but didn't, whoever they were. (Eye-Sicle says.) ' I've been thinkin' 'bout what they could done.
...Are you SURE, sir? (Stanford asks. He's still a little distracted because of what happened with No-Feet's duplicate this season.)
Yes I'm sure, Stokes! Just do it! (Eye-Sicle says.)
Dear me, if you insist, sir... (Stanford says, bringing in every reserve who ended up skipped.)
(The chamber gets VERY crowded and full of different people. Eye-Sicle immediately regrets his decision.)
Aw yeh! Been waitin' fer an opportunity to be in one of these things! (Jed says.)
Ooh, you want me again already? (Grim asks. He seems a bit happier than he was before he left a few seasons back.)
I hope to goodness I don't get transformed into frozen food again. (Ajax says.)
(There are three identical Gourgeists among the group.) Oh, hello, Wendy. Nice to meet you, Wendy! Well, if we had any ability to sing, I'd say we should start a singing trio group. If nothing else, having three of me would make our job faster. (Strangely, they don't seem at all disturbed by this.)
The hell? Why's there three of that guy? (Eye-Sicle asks.)

(Kenny spots what he guesses are her glasses about to be accidentally stepped on by Tyrell. He quickly zips around to grab them and gives them to Velma.) Here you are, ma'am.
Oh, thank y-y-y-... (She trails off upon seeing both her surroundings and the creatures around her.) ....Jinkies! This is...
Highly improbable? (Stanford asks.)

Oh dear-y wear-y! I can't even hear my poor little bird-brain self think! (A perky-looking seagull amidst the crowd says, flying up to and perching on Zander's shoulder.) Let's all take a moment to callm down, breathe a moment, and figure this out! We can solve this teensy-weensy little problem together! Maybe even with a song!
Somethin' 'bout that bird already makes me wanna uppie-chuckie somethin' yucky. (Eye-Sicle asides to Stanford.)

(Amidst the chaos, Heidi spots her twin sister.) Holly! Yeah, guess ya were almost in that season with Kenny, weren't ya.

(Holly looks at Stanford, and it seems like something has clicked for her.) Y' know, sis, it only just now occurred to me, but Stanford sure sounds like that old "friend" whose hideout the gang 'n I were investigatin'. Looks a bit like him too.

(It's this chaotic scene that Miss Ball, Jared, Wanda, Cleo, and Sidon arrive to when they come up to ask Stanford about cuing up Cleo's friends.)

(Veena and Sticky find Knox sitting on his bed, facing away from everyone and not having bothered to change back to normal form yet. Veena can't help but feel that she finds him in that position a lot.)

Knox, please tell us. (Sticky says. She shows him the embroidery.) Did you know these two?

Tutter's Hill (Years Ago)
(Late on a clear night, Colby and Knox are still by themselves and on the trail of a particularly treacherous desperado, known only as Wild Wile, riding on horseback ahead of them and firing his gun at them.)
Knox, zigzag to avoid getting hit! (Colby shouts at Knox.)
I've been gettin' shot at for years, I know how to avoid gettin' hit! (Knox shouts back.)
(The desperado rounds a corner, but when Colby and Knox go around this same corner, Wile seems to have disappeared and his horse is sitting still.)
Damn, we lost him. Look for some footprints or something. (Colby says.)
(Colby and Knox split up and look for Wile's footprints. Knox finds them first and finds Wild Wile going toward a small farmhouse.)
Found him, Colby! (Knox says, giving chase without waiting for Colby.)
(Colby spins around to see both Wile and Knox approaching the farmhouse. Not wanting anyone to get caught in the crossfire of their manhunt, Colby quickly begins flying toward the house as fast as he can, but Knox chases Wile in through the front door.)
(Colby tries as fast as he can to catch up, but then there is the sound of a woman screaming, followed by-)
BANG! BANG! ...BANG!
(Colby's heart stops. He quickly flies in through the front door to find Wile on the floor as Knox stands over him holding Wile's own revolver. But what horrifies Colby the most is the gila monster couple lying in the floor behind Knox.)
...Knox... (Colby says.)
Oh, come on! He shot 'em first! (Knox spits.)
(Then there is a noise that makes Colby feel sick: the sound of a baby crying. He looks down at the baby's parents on the floor.) ...dear Lord... (Colby gasps in horror.)
(Knox, meanwhile, whirls around and runs toward the bedroom.)
KNOX! NO!! (Colby shouts, running after Knox.)
(Colby runs into the bedroom, but to his surprise Knox is...holding the crying infant gila monster and trying to rock him back to sleep.)
(Colby is shocked. He's never seen Knox act this way before.) Knox, what are you doing?
What's it look like I'm doin'? I'm tryin' to get this lil varmint back to sleep. (Knox says.)
Knox, give the child to me! (Colby says, worried that Knox might hurt the baby.)
(But it seems like it's working. The baby lizard stops crying and even reaches up toward Knox's face. Eventually, the baby goes back to sleep. Something about seeing the baby peacefully sleeping makes Knox himself feel a little at peace himself, something he hasn't felt since he was a child. Even Colby is a little surprised.)
See, Colby? I got him back to sleep! (Knox says.) I'm not going to hurt a damn baby anyway.
Knox...his parents are dead. We have to take him to someone who will be able to take care of him. (Colby says.)
Maybe we could take care of him! We could raise him to be the toughest varmint in Durango. (Knox suggests.) Ain't an orphanage for miles, anyway. 'Sides, I lost both my parents, too. I ain't gonna let him become as screwed up as me.
(Colby looks between Knox and the baby lizard.) You've got a point. Besides, his parents' death was our fault, anyway, since our chase after Wild Wile took us into their home. I'm...I'm worried about your ability to be a parent, Knox, but I was a parent once, too, so I can help you. I suppose raising the couple's little son would be suitable penance for causing their deaths.
Alright... (Knox begins gathering up some of the baby's belongings, including a baby blanket to wrap him up in. He notices that the blanket as well as a tiny ten-gallon hat he grabbed have a name sewn into them.)
"Joaquin"... (Knox reads.)
That must be the child's name. (Colby says.)
Okay, but I might call him Sonny, too. It's what my dad always used to call me. (Knox says.)
(Knox and Colby bury young Joaquin's parents outside their farmhouse (and bury Wile a distance away from it). Before they leave, Colby steps back into the farmhouse, is in there for a while, and then steps back out.)
The hell were you doin' in there? (Knox asks.)
Just leavin' a little somethin'. (Colby says.) Now c'mon. We gotta get back to the hideout so we can give the little feller somethin' to eat.
Right. (Knox says. He looks down at the child again, who is still sleeping. He had hoped to be a father one day, but he feels he forfeited any chance of that years ago. Maybe now he finally has a chance to be a dad...)

(Veena and Sticky are shocked to learn that the farmhouse belonged to Joaquin's parents, and are shocked to hear that they're dead. All this time they thought Joaquin's parents had to have been out there somewhere.) Did you ever tell Joaquin any of this? (Veena asks.)
Nope. Besides, I never got the chance to tell him what happened because he ran out on us all those years ago and now it's probably too late for me to actually tell him. (Knox says.) If I see him now, I'm probably gonna kill him!
...I could tell him for you. (Veena says.) But...I don't know how to explain it to him either...I just...I...he still believes his parents are alive out there somewhere. If any of us tell him now, it'll absolutely destroy him! I wish Colby and Greta were still here. They'd probably know what to say to him.
Have no fear, Veena, you are Joaquin's best friend. I'm sure he won't hate you for telling him the truth about what happened to his parents. (Sticky says.) Besides, by the sound of it, it was all just an unfortunate accident that Knox and Colby couldn't prevent in time.

(The Shape Shifter has heard enough. When the 'Brijes aren't looking, he slips out of the 'Brijes' room.)

(Veena coils around her arms.) I guess we should enjoy not having to go anywhere else while we can. I figure Dark Stanford is going to shout at us to go look for more of his other selves soon.
So Joaquin's parents were murdered by another bandit...but Joaquin himself doesn't know... (Dark Stanford mutters. He paces around, and then gets an idea.) I think I may have just the recipe I need to further drive a wedge between Knox and Joaquin, and the nominators by extent. I simply need to figure out the right way to carry it out...

"Uh. You know, I don't call James "Sobble" for nothing either. I had him admit that when he was an actual Sobble-"
"Oh no! Arthur, you are not doing that! Cease this instant!!!" James shouted. Nick rolled his eyes with a chuckle.
"Knock it off, you two. But I second what Tenn said." the Cinderace confirmed.
"AHEM!! Anyway, hmmm... I suppose we will have to go, indeed. Not that you are bothering us, of course!! Rest assured, I look forward to meeting you in person dear Maran." James said to the Flygon, saluting him.
"Would be rude to not say good luck with your curse." Arthur added, nodding at him and Sunny.
"Yeah, it was nice to meet you! Get well soon!" Nick said.
Once everyone was ready, James took back his crystal ball and the FBW got ready to move towards the Mirror Hall.

Alright... (Stanford goes to the control panel.)
(A large, bulky greenish-colored dragon appears in the chamber, along with a young magenta dragon that looks like the same species that Cleo is (but has eyes, horns, and ears like the other dragon).)
Aha! There you are, Cleo! We've been wondering where you've been at! (Ira says, lumbering over and noggieing Cleo on the head.) AAH!!! How've ya been?
It is quite wonderful to see you, Ira! You would not believe the things I have seen or had happen to me these past few days. (Cleo says.)
Hey, Miss Cleo! (The younger dragon runs over and hugs Cleo.)
Greetings, Melody. (Cleo says.) How goes your training?
Oh, it's going good. I can throw a rock as big as Dad a hundred feet now, either with my mind or my arms! (Melody says.) And check this out. Dad, tie me in a knot!
Excuse me-? (Stanford starts to say, but then Ira ties Melody into a very tight-looking knot. In the span of only about thirty seconds, Melody undoes the knot she has been tied into.)
Check it out! I'm down to just thirty seconds to get outta that! (Melody says.)
That is wonderful, Melody! (Cleo says.)
Uh...how did she do that? (Jared asks. His stomach hurt just from looking at Melody (even harmlessly) tied into a knot.)
Melody's mother was the same species as me, while Ira is a shape-shifter with incredible physical strength. (Cleo says.) So Melody's powers curiously manifested themselves as not only having the same extraordinary psychokinetic abilities as expected for her species, but also being able to contort herself into any shape she can imagine, as well as having her father's physical strength.
Yep! I’m real proud of her! (Ira says.)
(The others notice that Melody has taken on Cleo's shape as Cleo has been talking and is mimicking Cleo's talking in a goofy way. Wanda tries and fails to contain her giggling, prompting Cleo to look behind her and see what Melody is doing.) ...Really, Melody.
Sorry! (Melody laughs.) But yeah, that's the long and short of it! So who are all these guys? I REALLY wanna know about all these other dragons.
(Everyone takes a few minutes to get acquainted with Ira and Melody.)

Part 2: A New Reality
Rouki and Wangawanga rushed forward to find whoever had snuck into the Temple's insides, tailing behind them were the Crystal Gems. Garnet and Pearl managed to catch up to the duo
Garnet: Hold it right there you two!
Pearl: Stay right where you are.
The duo then turned around and gave a quick explanation before continuing their path.
Rouki: That battle was too easy for a reason. They were trying to distract us while someone else snuck inside secretly, they must be after some power within.
Wangawanga: Yesyes, we need to stab em'!
Garnet and Pearl kept giving chase until they reached the core and sure enough, within the chamber of the Gem Heart a pierrot-like alien, Deviot, had placed a special spherical device and began draining the power and lifeforce from the object, satisfied with the progress so far he had in which he'd been able to drain half of the Heart's powerful, when the groups arrived he turned around only to face the opposition.
Deviot: Oh my, it seems my interference here was most unexpected. Wait could that be the legendary wolf warrior Zen-Aku
Rouki: I am no Zen-Aku, I am the Duke Org Rouki.
Deviot: Duke or not I won't let you and that freak of nature ruin my scheme.
As he said this boast he shot a pair of electric whips at them from his wrist and began shocking the duo with them.
Deviot: Stay out of my path or else.
But before he could do more, a giant hammer hit his device and destroyed it, preventing it from fully draining the temple.
Sardonyx: Hole in one, babey!
Deviot: Meh, it doesn't matter. I've already got plenty of that energy to go. I'm taking my leave now.
Deviot then picked up the container that was within his machine and warped away with it in his hand. Having stored the energy he'd managed to absorb for later.
Rouki: That coward...
Amethyst: Hey you, hot wolf guy and big yellow guy! What's both of your deals?
Rouki: Excuse my sudden appearance, I was here to stop Deviot. I have been tracking down these evil syndicate's activities for a while and they led me here as their next target.
Peridot: I remember the big pirate guy. Hey I haven't thanked you and your companion for your help... Uh, are you both some sort of non-gem aliens or earthlings?
Rouki: That is not important. And I am done with my work here. Luckily it seems there was no destruction involved beyond this temple so you better start rebuilding it. Let's leave, my minion.
Wangawanga nodded and both were warped away by a dimensional wall.
Amethyst: What a weirdo. I guess at least we know now what those guys could be after... But jeez this was a mess and I bet Lapis will be pissed after this is all over.
The rest of the Gems silently agreed to Amethyst's comment but now contemplated what could be next in store for them.

Taking back his crystal ball, Aaron got up and gathered his teammates.
"Father? You should stay here with Lilac and Darnell. We never know." Tokage said to Proteus. The Greninja nodded and waved his tongue at the group. He was pretty much saying the same thing as Lilac.
"Well someone's in a good mood!" Alex snickered at Dess's excitement. Aaron smiled, more than happy for them.
"Everyone... Really, thanks for that surprise. I know we kinda deserved it, but that was very sweet from all of you." the Lucario said to the guests with a grateful nod.
"Yeah..." Alex said, putting his hands on his belly with a satisfied look as he licked his lips. Giggling, Aaron then turned towards June.
"June? I think my team and I will go with you. We'll help folks along the way if someone needs help, but I think we're going to wander around like you."
"Besides... I suppose with Squishy being here, you may need some help." Tokage added, glancing at the big alien.
"Don't worry about him! But yeah, I'm not at all against hanging with you and just... visit the town and have a nice, quiet day." Lucian agreed.
