Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

WHEEEEEEEE!! (Taki shouts as they do so. Stanford looks a little sick.)
(Not having to worry about missing the tiles, Joaquin simply flies up with Riley and Cassie.)

(Benji (who didn't act hostile toward Tenn at all) goes over to Tenn without any sort of hesitation and brings her back out.) Heya, Tenn, you good?
(Tenn shrugs.) (Good as I can be for a frozen dragon.) (She heads back out into the open with Benji.)
See, fellas? I don't think Kyurem would wear make-up and a tank top, just sayin'. (Benji says.)
(The townsfolk are confused and still a bit wary, but they seem to buy it.) I suppose stranger things have happened around here lately. (A Ninetales in the crowd says.) But be careful! Fake or not, a Legendary or Mythical in our town that isn't Volcanion is going to turn a few heads.
(Indeed, there is not an eye that isn't staring at Tenn as she rejoins everyone, just because of how unusual it is to have a Legendary in this particular town (even a fake one).) (Gosh, this is so embarrassing...man, I can't even enjoy this warmer weather because I'm cold like down to my core...you guys are lucky.)
Never fear, Tenn! We will get you back to your old lovely self as soon as we can! (Henry reassures Tenn.)
(Please do!) (Tenn wishes she could say.)
I see them! They're in the market! Come on! (Shelley tells her companions. They quickly start to head that way.)
Oh, that's good... (June says, then she shakes her head.) Wait, no, no it's not! Poor Tenn! I bet she's not happy right now at all!
(Phoebe freezes. Hearing that her other self transformed an innocent Pokémon into a LEGENDARY shocks her and she seems more like she wants to run and hide more than before.) I-...I-...I'm sorry! I'm not strong enough anymore! (She says. She flees as fast as he can go toward a small house nearby at the water.)
Wait! Come back! Surely you are! (Oscar shouts.)
(And this is the sight that the Bugtrio and the others see when they get to the marketplace, June and the others trying to convince Phoebe to help stop her other self as she tries to leave.)
Aha! That must be our Phoebe! W-Wait, where is she going?! (Henry asks.) Miss Phoebe! Stop! Please!
PMD-Verse
(Indeed, Zekrom's bolts strike Phoebe before she can dodge them in any way, causing her to let out a loud shriek. Enraged, Phoebe gets back up and she scatters magic that looks uncannily similar to that of a Magikoopa’s onto Kyruem.)
(Kyurem will grow until it is about twice its normal size.)

While watching Data Moldbygg drive Morgana to suicide with a callout post and get confused by the "friendship blaster" that Rayquaza gave it, 6k1 opens her gift. As the DM gets it out of the box, Mimi steps back and looks at it with wide eyes while Ally nods.
"Doc Ock's tentacles?!" asks 6k1.
Affirmative, says Ally. She reads Ichi's instructions for it to her and fits it on her back.
Please maintain proper standing posture as I adjust the harness...
Respite Village
Kris makes a mental note to give Arthur a Tiny Reviver Seed and follows Shelley to the marketplace, just to see Good Phoebe fleeing from the search party. Noelle and Berdly turn to see the Delta Warriors tired but alright from the battle, but Noelle nervously stares at Susie's scales peeking through the tears in her vest.
"W-Was it really that bad?" she asks.
"Ugh, yes... got slashed by the real Kyurem and nearly lost my limbs to the sheer cold..."
Noelle gets tongue-tied as her Imagine Spot comes back to her. A creepy coincidence, but she refuses to elaborate and lets Berdly explain the current situation.
He sighs. "I'm sorry, but Good Phoebe left us 'cuz she doesn't wanna use her old dark magic again."
"Seriously?" asks Susie, "she might be the only one who can save Tenn!"
"And if she uses her powers for good, then maybe the town will change their minds about her!" says Ralsei.
Kris nods in agreement while Berdly looks at Tenn. It's so surreal to think that she got brainwashed just like him, but for him, at least the Delta Warriors saved him before he could be turned into a Werewire. If it weren't for them, he would've torn off the wire himself, but would he have wanted to risk that?
Kris then sees where Good Phoebe fled and tells the others to follow them there.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

"Well that dream should better come true!!" Scipion exclaimed at Peewee Piranha winning the season on Night 1. To his surprise, Dino Piranha opened a shop the next day, selling Piranha Plants to any kind of tributes as long as they fed it.
Respite Village
Lucian also tried to convince Phoebe to come back, but she left. Just then, he saw Aaron and the others approaching.
"AAROOOOOON!!!" Lucian screamed as soon as the heroes reunited. The Lycanroc jumped on the Lucario and hugged him tight, crying.
"Lucian! C-Calm down, I'm okay!" Aaron said.
"B-But you could have... You could have...!" Lucian bawled.
"It's alright, Lucian, I'm here. We all made it. I told you I would be back for you." Aaron gently whispered, rubbing Lucian's head. The shy Lycanroc sniffed and snuggled against Aaron before letting him go after a while.
Proteus was also quick to tightly hug Tokage. The Grovyle more than happily returned it, still shivering from Kyurem's intense Glaciate.
The group then listened to Berdly, and got seriously concerned.
"Susie and Ralsei are right, indeed. I wish we ask somebody else to help, but she is our best option. But how can we convince her to lay us a fin?" James pondered.
It was at this moment that Arthur finally started to cough.
"...!! Oh gods!! Nick, put him on the ground now!!" James exclaimed in fear. Nick nodded and gently put the Decidueye on the ground.
Arthur very slowly opened his eyes and stared at the sun. His vision blurry, all he could see were figures he didn't recognize, one of them much bigger than the others.
"...I'm in fucking hell, am I?"
James tried to keep a cool head but struggled a lot to hide his tears. The Inteleon couldn't handle it anymore and he pulled Arthur into a tight hug before kissing him.
"HMPPPPH!!!" Arthur tried to scream in protest, flapping his wings on the ground as James was kissing him a bit too long.
"J-James?? What the shit??" Arthur squawked when James let him breathe again.
"O-Oh Arthur you stubborn fool!! Don't ever, ever scare me like that again!! I thought I would lose you forever!!" James cried.
"James! I am not in the mood for a hug! You damn Sobble-DAMNIT NOT YOU TOO!!!" Arthur shrieked when Nick joined him, hugging him tightly.
"Oh stop complaining! I thought you were a goner too!" the Cinderace said. Arthur stopped struggling as he started to remember what happened. He sighed and finally returned the hug.
"...Sorry. But the moment I felt that Sheer Cold threatening James, I couldn't help myself." he muttered.
"Arthur..." James sighed, kissing him more gently this time.
"You should have seen James, Arthur. He behaved like a pro against Phoebe and Kyurem." Nick said.
"...Uh." was all Arthur said, raising a curious eyebrow at James. He was about to ask for more detail when he started to cough again.
"Oh dear..." James nervously said.
"Don't panic. He just needs some time. And probably some Reviver Seed too." Nick reassured his leader, helping Arthur to get up. The Decidueye groaned in pain before realizing something.
"Okay, I have a lot of questions. Where are we? What's a "Kyurem"? And-" Arthur asked, only to spot Tenn in Kyurem's body.
"...Are you sure I'm not in hell or something? Seriously, what the fuck is that?"
"That's uuuh... That's Tenn." Nick said.
"I don't believe you."
"D-Dear Arthur that is the truth!" James exclaimed.
"Uuuugh... I need a fucking bottle of beer..." Arthur moaned.
"Nin... Grenin. Ja?" Proteus asked.
"You're right. Allow me to explain..." Tokage said before explaining to everyone what happened with evil Phoebe's encounter.
"W-W-Wait... S-So that means t-t-that Kyurem and Phoebe...? T-They may chase after us?" Lucian fearfully asked.
"Unfortunately yes..."
"Fucking great..." Arthur hissed.
Lucian genuinely looked scared now and he started to shake. Phoebe refusing to help didn't help the Lycanroc at all.
"Oh no... O-Oh no... They're gonna kill us... T-They're gonna kill us if we don't give them the Splicers, but they're gonna kill us if we give them anyway..! What do we do? What do we do? What-" he stammered, every worst scenario playing in his head.
"Easy Lucian. Easy... Nobody is going to die. If Arthur and Susie made it, I'm sure we all can. And we will find a way. I promise." Aaron reassured.
"Guys... You think the evil Phoebe has spotted where we went?"
"I'm not sure she did. But even then, we have no time to waste." Tokage said.
"One of the guys here said there was... Volcanion here? Isn't the guy a mythical Pokémon?" Alex asked.
"Yes, I believe they are. But I'm not sure if they could stand up against Kyurem, especially if it defeats Reshiram and Zekrom with Phoebe's help." Tokage sighed.
"Then our best course of option remains to ask Phoebe for help." Aaron said, looking at the house the Gorebyss left to. The group then followed Kris to Phoebe's house, hoping to change her mind.
PMD!World
Reshiram looked in shock as Kyurem doubled its size, increasing its strength. The white dragon was forced to get out of the Beam Struggle and flew away.
"ZEKROM!" he shouted to his sibling. Seeing that the giant Kyurem was the main threat, Zekrom flew away from Phoebe and joined his sibling as their tails glowed even brighter. Both roared as they combined a Fusion Flare and a Fusion Bolt to attack Kyurem. Once more, and despite its size, the ice dragon got engulfed in a massive explosion that damaged it greatly.
But this time, it tanked the hit thanks to its sheer size. Kyurem used Outrage immediately and managed to hit Reshiram with it. Not as physically strong as it, or Zekrom, Reshiram cried out in pain and was sent flying against a rock.
The white dragon growled and tried to use Fusion Flare again, but Kyurem, still under the effect of Outrage, was faster. It ran towards Reshiram as the ice surrounding its wings shattered.
"NOOOOO!!" Kyurem shouted as Kyurem fired purple lasers at Reshiram with the wings, trapping him with them. The legendary dragon gasped in shock and let out a pained cry as he started to glow.
Despite his huge pain, he still managed to glance one last time at Phoebe.
"Phoebe... If only you could see the truth of what you are doing. You could be so much more than this..." Reshiram weakly said to Phoebe in a surprisingly sad tone.
Kyurem barely let him time to finish and Reshiram got turned into a small white stone that Kyurem absorbed. The monstrous Pokémon roared as it emitted a red, fiery aura surrounded by snow, blinding Zekrom and Phoebe.
When they could see again, they would see a perfect fusion between Reshiram and Kyurem. White Kyurem returned to its normal size. The creature opened its mouth for the first time since it became Kyurem and breathe.
"DAMN YOU!!!!!" Zekrom bellowed in pure anger, tears in his eyes, as he rushed towards White Kyurem with Bolt Strike. Still carrying an emotionless expression, White Kyurem slowly turned towards him as he went into its own Overdrive mode.
"Ze... krom..." Kyurem-White spoke in a hoarse voice, combing Reshiram and its voice.
Suddenly Zekrom felt the area around him freezing.
"You cannot... defy... fate."
White Kyurem generated a freezing wind, far more powerful than its normal Glaciate at the dragon.
Zekrom roared in agony. The attack stopped his Bolt Strike. It was so intense he felt like his entire body was burning.
That was Ice Burn. And the attack was powerful enough to put an end to the battle.
Zekrom was forced to kneel, defeated, as White Kyurem approached him. He knew what was going to happen next. Despite this, he gave a defiant glare at Kyurem and Phoebe.
"You will never succeed. Those mortal's ideals are pure. You will never shatter them." he growled before roaring as White Kyurem turned him into a dark stone before absorbing him.
But instead of reforming into its true self, White Kyurem switched to another fusion between itself and Zekrom: Black Kyurem. Kyurem was now able to talk and its power has significantly increased. The energy within also suppressed the perpetual blizzard around it. It felt cold and hot at the same time. It was able to switch between this form and White Kyurem at will.
But it still missed something.
It was still empty. Emotionless. Incomplete. It may be powerful now, but it hardly cared about the power. What mattered was to regain memories and feelings again.
Black Kyurem looked at its claw, taking in its new powers.
"Phoebe." it said, its voice just as hoarse, emotionless, and cold as White Kyurem, with the only difference being Reshiram's one replaced with Zekrom's.
"You have done well... At long last, I am able to speak again. I am close... so close... But our pact still remains." Black Kyurem coldly grunted. It looked in the distance as two green lights were visible, one in the sky, the other on land.
Zygarde and Rayquaza were coming this way, alarmed by the battle. And it knew that even in this state, Kyurem would likely not be able to handle Rayquaza's mega-evolution and Zygarde's complete form.
"We must leave this universe. You possess the ability to travel through time and space. We must find the DNA Splicers at any cost... You know what must be done." Black Kyurem growled.

(For some weird reason, the Sneasler is compelled to mess with the Limau princesses despite having absolutely no reason to, and ends up fainting after running into a wall after a botched Aerial Ace.)
I dunno what I was thinking. (Millie mutters to herself as she leaves the Detective School. Maybe she was just overwhelmed from being around so many other people, she decides.)
(She's later surprised when she finds what looks like a sword in a stone.) Huh, maybe I could combine this with my moves in some way?
(However, she pulls the sword so hard it snaps in two. Millie shrugs.) I mean, I guess I can still use this.
(Then she gets sick with a cold.) Ugh, darnit, if I get sick I'm a sitting duck, I gotta take something. (She finds a bottle of cough syrup.) Oh, good, a potion. Maybe this will help.
(Millie downs the whole thing along with an energy drink she got from a vending machine earlier.) Ah, I think I'm feeling better alre-
(Suddenly, it seems as though the area around her melts into a swirling mess of colors and the flowers around her begin growing until they are as big as houses.) LOOKIT ME WES I'M FLYINGGGGGG!! (Millie deliriously says before "flying" through the woods past all sorts surreal objects, an enormous grin on her face. As she does, she cuts through everything in front of her.)
(Then, just as quickly as the hallucinations start, they're gone and Millie feels as though she was just hit by a truck, having no memory of what just happened.) Ugh, what did I do...? (Looking behind her, she sees Agent G lying on the ground cut all up and not moving.) ...Oh snap, I didn't do that, did I? Seriously, what just happened?

AAY!! (Joaquin quickly lands on a tile not far from the others to give Riley a chance to regain her grip.) Sorry, I didn't mean to go too fast for ya!

(Oscar gives Lucian a reassuring hug.)
It is good to see you awake again, Arthur! (Henry says.) ...And, erm, yes, that IS Tenn there. The evil Phoebe put a wicked spell on her.
(Tenn nods.)
To my understanding, Volcanion lives inside the volcano, and I don't think we have enough time to go all that way. (Henry says.) So let us see if we cannot still convince Phoebe to help us.
(They follow Kris down to the house. June knocks on the door.) Pheebs, I know you're probably scared, but y' know yourself better 'n everyone else, so that's why we seeked ya out! 'Cause you'll probably know how t' stop her. I promise we'll getcha right back to sellin' flowers like you were already doin' and ya never hafta worry 'bout this again!
(The door cracks open slightly and Phoebe peeks out.) Dear, it isn't necessarily that I DON'T want to help you, it's just...I had hoped I could completely put my past behind me and never have to use my quote-unquote "science" again. I'm not even sure if I could call my experiments "science" anymore. Seeing a version of myself where I never realized what I was doing was wrong, changed Pokémon into Legendary Pokémon against their will like your friend, and just kept seeking out more and more power and hurting more and more lives all in the the name of becoming famous, or INfamous, I should say...that terrifies me.
I know it does, Phoebe, but...if we don't do anything about her, hundreds of Pokémon will be hurt, or worse...we've already seen firsthand what she can do to one universe. (Shelley says.)
PMD-Verse
(Phoebe-V has a grim look of satisfaction as Kyurem defeats both Reshiram and Zekrom and absorbs them into itself, changing into White Kyurem and then Black Kyurem.)
Oh, how lovely it is that you can now speak! (Phoebe says.) But yes, there is nothing left for us here. They are still out there and still have the Splicers! We must find which universe they went to and pry them from their COLD DEAD HANDS if we must! (Again, her voice briefly raises into a harsh growl.)
(Phoebe-V teleports herself and Kyurem away to a different PMD universe to begin searching for the group.)

After a little bit of waiting, Power shows up.
"Hey, Power. Good to see you too. I'm feeling well, thanks. How are you doing yourself?" Dave greets her . "And yes, we should get in now. Better not get in the way of the Arena's shenanigans while we can, right?" he quips with a joking tone.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."

Kris tosses a Tiny Reviver Seed to Arthur on the way to Phoebe's house and listens to what she has to say.
"Look, Phoebe..." says Ralsei, "I know it's hard whenever something that reminds you of a bad thing in the past comes back, but if you face it head-on, then you can truly learn to put it all behind you!"
"I agree!" says Berdly, "lemme tell you why I'm helping my friends here! I was in Tenn's metaphorical shoes back in Cyber World, and I can relate to her right now! I can apply what I learned back there and help her overcome this, and hopefully it'll give you the confidence to transform her back!"
"And don't give a crap about the haters!" adds Susie. "It's on them if they still don't forgive ya after you redeem yourself, 'slong as you do your part!"
"But you still hurt a lot of Pokémon..." says Noelle, "and I understand if you're not ready yet."
But Kris bluntly tells Phoebe that she might not have much time to prepare because they're being tracked down by her evil self as they speak, so she has to face her even if she doesn't want to.

Entrance Hall
"I'm doing just fine, too!" says Power, "but yeah, better get in before a rogue tribute attacks us!"She enters the hallway and goes to the circulation desk.
"Good evening, Mr. Reed," she says to Timothy, "we're here to visit 6k1 for her EP birthday, even if it's late!"
"I'm sorry, but she requested not to be disturbed for the whole day."
"That's what we're worried about, sir, so we came here to cheer her up, but this is a surprise!"
"Hmm... alright, I will message Ally that 6001 has 'visitors as usual', and you three will meet at the conference room if she is going up. Otherwise, I will give you these disposable key cards for the elevator so you can access the basement."
"Is this arrangement fine with you, Dave?"
Basement
While Ally adjusts the robo-tentacles on 6k1, the latter watches Data Moldbygg following Sam up with the offer to do crimes with it. It then falls in love with the Salvation Rangers but asks them not to hug it to set its boundaries. 6k1 also sees the buffed up Volo tossing and turning before that, but his screams are all too familiar for her.
"Those are the same screams V and Kain made when they... they were..."
Mimi shakes. "Oh no... is he...?"
It is unnecessary to feel anxious about this event, says Ally, because he is only having a nightmare about it.
"Phew, good thing it's not real, then!"
"But a nightmare like that can still stick to you," says 6k1. "That being said, it's been 128 seasons since the last time the actual event happened, and I hope it doesn't happen for a long time."
"Yeah..."
On another topic of discussion, says Ally, how is your new equipment?
She gives 6k1 the remote as the latter examines her robo-tentacles. She presses the button to retract them inside their compartment.
"They're a bit bulky, but they're not heavy enough to break my back, and it might be a challenge for me to wear my backpack with it. Still, I'll give them a test run, but I'll have to go to the Science Center for that, and also to reprogram my anti-mind control hairclip so I can control them mentally like Doc Ock."
Alright, I will call the Tribute Research Lab if the Testing Chamber has been cleaned up since the break-in yesterday.

"...Thanks kid." Arthur grumbled to Kris, grabbing their Tiny Reviver Seed, gulping it up in one go.
"My companions are absolutely correct, miss Phoebe. My team, the Fiery Blue Wings, as well as the Bugtrio here already met with your evil counterpart in an alternate Whispering Pines. This witch, no offense to you of course, manipulated my dear friend Henry's counterpart, then brainwashed every inhabitant turning them into obedient clones of him." James explained, stepping forward.
The Inteleon then gave Phoebe a confident smile.

Lucian couldn't help but gulp when Kris pointed out that Phoebe-V and Kyurem were going to track them down. And if the latter won against Reshiram and Zekrom, he was convinced that they needed her. He looked at Phoebe with a pleading look.

(She looks at everyone anxiously and swallows nervously.)
I hope I don't regret this... (Phoebe says. She opens the door to let everyone in.)
(It's difficult for Tenn to get in, because at her current size she's just barely able to fit through Phoebe's front door.)
(The interior of Phoebe's house is a modest Water-type house with pools of water on the floor and many different kinds of flowers hanging from the ceiling...though there is also the odd empty or beaker sitting here and there, which are all covered in thick layers of dust, showing that they haven't been used in ages.)
(Phoebe goes over to a rug in the back of the house and tugs it out of the way, revealing a trap door.) One of you be a dear and open this up for me, please.
(Henry complies, and a stairway leading to what looks like a cave is revealed.) Follow me, please... (Phoebe says, audibly nervous.) If your Charmeleon friend could light the candles along the wall on your way down, that would be lovely. It's quite dark down there. And do be careful going down, Tenn.

"I say, this is a very lovely house you have here, milady. Perhaps I should actually buy one or two of your flowers once this is all over. Their smells are simply superb!" James said as the Gorebyss led them inside her house.
Everyone got more or less nervous when Henry opened Phoebe's trap door, revealing a dark cave.
"There's... There's nothing dangerous in there, r-right?" Lucian fearfully asked, getting close to Oscar.
"Don't worry. I'll stay by your side." Aaron reassured him, rubbing the two Pokémons' heads.
"I wonder what's down there to make Phoebe so... nervous." Nick whispered to the others.
"We'll find out soon enough. Everyone, stay close just in case." Tokage answered.
"Got it!" Alex said to Phoebe, waving his tail. The Charmeleon carefully followed her alongside everyone and lighted every candle he spotted with it.

Kris obliviously gives her their approval while Ralsei goes behind them and in front of Susie. Berdly goes behind Noelle, but he raises an eyebrow at her request.
Does that confirm my suspicions on why she nearly strangled me for my crush on dear Susan? he thinks, but he doesn't speak up and follows the team downstairs.

6k1 watches Data Moldbygg wiggle away from a train after Grigori jumps in front of it, and then do the same after Upin and Ipin catch it for their skydiving trick and get themselves slimed.
Claire Hartmut has confirmed to me that the Testing Chamber is ready for— Ally suddenly glitches out before she could finish.
"Sis, what happened?!" asks Mimi.
"Are you okay?" asks 6k1.
Ally clutches her head and soft reboots herself.
All systems operational, but there was an error in this season's Reaping data.

My Databanks mistakenly listed Chile as a Massive Group Tribute.
6k1 groans. "Seriously?"
Do not get yourself worked up on this, please wait until I debug it.
Ally pauses for a while, and her visor shines copper after sorting through the Databanks again.
Professor Map had intended to nominate ONLY the total land area of Chile, so I have fixed the section where it stated that its adult population was nominated with it as one tribute.
"Just the adults?" asks Mimi, tilting her head.
Affirmative, because Chile would have been BLACK-FLAGGED this season if all the minors were included.
6k1 groans. "Honestly, I'll take safe-flagged locations over what Timewrecker did when he nominated all those alternate Earth Prime locations, if they're nothing but the landmasses. Just nominating them without their people has always been an option, why make things harder for me and the Database?"
I understand that Massive Group Tributes still provoke a negative reaction from you, says Ally, but if I did not correct this error, then Chile would have caused problems in the technical kill tally if a tribute destroys it.
The DM sighs, for the Zero Sum Cat Clowders had already given her a headache that she tried her best to ignore before this.
"Anyway, if the Testing Chamber's ready, then I'll go have this tested right now!"
I will accompany you there, says Ally.
"Me too!" says Mimi, "but who will guard the basement? Dupe's still with his ohana!"
While I am more effective in managing security when fused.
"Don't worry," says 6k1, "I won't take long, and besides, I need to be at my full strength to effectively test it!"

6k1 puts on Mimi's harness on her pet and checks her phone in her pocket, then the three of them take the elevator to the 1st floor.

Timothy was about to message Ally when he gets a call from Sophie. He answers it, then tells Power and Dave, "6001 and her assistants are already on their way here."
"Really? Okay, thanks!"
Power leads Dave towards 6k1, but the latter wouldn't realize that they're coming this way until they shout "SURPRISE!" as loud as the Library rules would allow.

(Then she gets cornered by Dino Piranha.) Well, I promised Wes I wouldn't do this, but...
(Millie charges up a Giga Impact and lunges at Dino Piranha...only for her aim to be way off and she misses him completely. And on top of this, her momentum inconveniently carries her directly over the side of a cliff.) CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!
(Needless to say, she's not making any further progress this season, much to Eye-Sicle's chagrin.) Dammit!

(As Alex lights the candles and they reach the bottom of the stairs, they'll find themselves in a large undersea cave with dusty shelves lined with what looks like different potions and serums and notebooks, as well as tons of glass beakers, glass tubes, and other such things. There are also dim and/or shattered Wonder Orbs lying here and there. It looks very much like a mad scientist's evil lair.)

I would have to figure out where something like that is. (Phoebe says, moving over to the shelves.) It's been ages since I've been down here, and at this point I'm not even sure which of these are which anymore. And that's assuming any antidotes or anything I find will even work once I do find them since I don't know how exactly this other Phoebe changed Tenn into Kyurem. It could potentially have been magic or science from another world that I don't have the ability to counteract right now. Did any of you see how she did so?
I am afraid not. She took Tenn away from us and did so far away from any of us. (Henry says.) And Tenn herself unfortunately can't tell you right now.
(Tenn plunks down onto her rump and shakes her head. It looks like this is going to be a while.)

Scipion groaned and facepalmed as Peewee Piranha had another tantrum and tried to kill Renge after watching Death Note, but failed miserably.
Dino Piranha fared much better, as Millie disrupted its nap and it proceeded to chase her down. Scipion was sure the angry dinosaur was going to kill her, but she ended up throwing herself off a cliff, to his frustration, and the huge baby's confusion.
The next day, Dino Piranha was napping again when President Snow's clone opened a gate to the Underworld. The dinosaur didn't care and/or understand, but it still got furious and with a roar, smashed the door to pieces with its tail, causing the clone to be imprisoned in the underworld.
"OH COME ON!! WHY DO MY TRIBUTES EITHER FAIL TO KILL PEOPLE, OR OTHER TRIBUTES KILL THEMSELVES BEFORE THEY DO??" Scipion angrily exclaimed.
"Huh... B-Boss, you wanna close your eyes." Onox warned, suddenly looking away from the screen.
"Oh what now?? Did that stupid other baby just die-GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!" Scipion growled, only to scream in disgust at Peewee Piranha had its portrait being edited by Cursed Baby Yoda.
"Ah... Dave nominated that fellow imp, did he? That was a great idea." Morgan said, loving the picture.
Phoebe's home
"Whoaaaah... No offense Phoebe, but your place's creepy." Alex gasped as the group explored Phoebe's cave.
"Yeah... It reminds me a lot of Persephone's castle." Tokage whispered, staying close to his father. Proteus looked a bit nervous, the place reminding him of bad memories spent with a certain Mismagius.
"Definitely. Although I don't think she had those beakers and those Wonder Orbs." Aaron said, petting Oscar and Lucian to reassure them. The latter was looking around both in awe and fear, speechless.
"I-I hope nothing is going to put a j-jumpscare on us..." the scared Lycanroc shakily whispered to Oscar.
"That must be because she's more of a real witch than a scientist or an alchemist, given her strong ties with Giratina." Tokage guessed.
"Oh goodness...! That is truly fascinating! and a bit spine-chilling too." James exclaimed, gazing at the various potions or glass tubes.
"Okay, before you or Henry do anything stupid. Don't. Touch. Anything." Arthur sternly warned.
"Oh please, dear Arthur. We are not children." James grunted, folding his arms. He frowned at Nick giggling from behind.
Shelley then asked for a way to cure Tenn.
"Indeed. I do recall that she used a dark portal to capture our poor friend and that Tenn tried to warn us from afar before being turned into Kyurem." James said to Phoebe.
"I could try to help. My aura has recharged a bit. I should have enough to communicate with Tenn so that she can explain what happened." Aaron proposed.
"Should we really turn her back into herself now? Don't get me wrong, Tenn will have to go back into her body, but... we literally have a legendary at our side." Arthur pointed out.
"I'm honestly not sure she's as strong as the real deal. And that's a new body with new powers she has. Tenn is going to be more helpful in her real body." Nick said.
"Then we can try your idea, Aaron. And if Tenn got turned into Kyurem with unknown magic or science, we'll force the other Phoebe to turn her back into normal." Tokage said.
"Indeed! Have faith Tenn!" James said to her.
"Alright..." Aaron sighed as he closed his eyes, gathering his aura. Once ready, he advanced towards Tenn and put his paw on her head.
"Say... Are we gonna drink that kind of stuff to face evil Phoebe and Kyurem?" Alex asked, pointing at the potions.

On the way to meet the trio, Power watches on TV the Ginyu Force gang up on Data Moldbygg, but they Spare it out of spite. She then sees Upin, Ipin, and the PS5 In Your Brain pass by her and Dave, with the twins leaving a slime trail from touching the Moldbygg earlier that day as they go to the children's section. The janitor promptly follows them and cleans up the mess.
"I hope they're doing well since they were data cloned last time..."
Power then cheers for the Moldbygg as it scarfs down an entire cinnamon-butterscotch pie, fully healing it and winning the pie-eating contest. She then approaches 6k1 and yells moderately, "SURPRISE! SORTA BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF US!"
The DM gets startled and nearly falls over, but Ally quickly catches her while Mimi nuzzles 6k1's leg. She wonders why more visitors showed up when she last requested not to be disturbed, so in her confusion, she asks "Mirabel", "What happened to you?"
"Well..." she smirks, "would she turn into a unicorn if she entered Equestria coming here?"
Phoebe's Lab
Berdly and Noelle look around the lab and shiver but examine the tools curiously.
"They're kinda like the ones in the lab at school!"
"They're like props from a horror movie set..."
"I don't give a crap about these science-y things," says Susie, "cuz I always fall asleep every time our teacher tells us the lab safety rules!"
"And Phoebe..." says Ralsei, "I guess you're not so different from our Underground friend, Alphys. She also has a scary lab beneath her room and deeply regrets her past experiments, but unlike you, she had good intentions with them."
"Really?" asks Berdly.
"Well, long story short, she accidentally turned the prince of her kingdom into an evil flower while trying to stabilize monster SOULs with Determination. All of them along with six human SOULs were needed to break the Barrier that sealed the monsters away from the Surface, where the humans live."
"Oh, I remember now..." says Noelle, recalling Asriel back in S181, still unaware that he was data cloned at the time. Seeing alternate versions of Kris's family confused her amidst her nervous breakdown before that season began, but she hopes that he's doing well after that.
Kris then tells the team that Aaron will try telepathically communicating with Tenn on how to restore her true self.
"Aw, maaaan..." Susie groans, "having a Legendary on our team's a huge-ass advantage for us!"
"But Nick's got a point," says Ralsei. "Remember when I switched bodies with Power?"
"You were?!" Berdly and Noelle asked.
"It's another long story, but when I had her art magic, I could only use it when we fought in tandem because it only worked properly on her drawings, not mine. It's complicated, but I'm saying that Tenn fights most effectively in her normal form, and we don't want her to suffer further."
"Oh..."
"Fair enough..."
Kris nods in agreement while Susie snorts. "Fine..."
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

"... er, wait —" It steps back out and looks between the subbasement and the new room. "Libby, did you manage to create a permanent gate?"
"Good guess, but actually no!" Libby says, summoning Stremf of the Earf and strapping it to her back. "That room's completely inside Tempest Zone. Got another guess?"
"Completely inside, you say, yet it's outside our domain..." Sylvi ponders this.
I got it.
"Don't think about it too hard, I wanna figure it out myself."
Ana steps out
◊. "There, secret's disconnected." They look at the door and frown. "Hmm."
"I said don't think about it too hard, Ana! I don't want any hints!"
Ana pulls out their phone. "All right, all right... unrelatedly, we should make a groupchat." They quickly send a text to Cassie and whoever else wants to decide that they've made contact with the Tempests offscreen with an invite link.

(The doorbell at the lair rings.)
Hey, Jer, you still awake? (Ball asks Jared over the intercom.)
Yeah, I'm awake, I'll get it. (Jared says.)
(Jared heads downstairs and answers the front door...to find a shambling, visibly broken, and extremely disheveled zombified Sneasler in front of it.)
HELP MEEEE! (She wheezes.)
(Jared lets out a frightened scream and slams the door.)
Jared, what's going on? (Ball asks, bounding down the stairs.)
There's a friggin' zombified Pokemon or something outside! (Jared says.)
Oh crap, that's the Sneasler! She was our tribute this go-round and she became a zombie. (Ball says, opening the door back up. Millie is busy straightening her neck back out.)
Sorry about that. (Jared says.)
FIX ME. FIX MEEEEEEEE!! (Millie shrieks.)
No problem, Sneasler, just follow us to the triage. (Ball says. She and Jared head that way with Millie shuffling behind them.)
(A few minutes later, Millie is as good as new.) Thanks a gazillion. That was just total garbo. (She says, relieved.)

(The three of them head back into the tribute summoning chamber and Ball brings in the next tribute.)
(It appears to just be a normal umbrella.)

(Jared picks up the umbrella and looks at it before turning to look at the others.) I mean, if Eye-Sicle nominated a bowl of green bean casserole, I guess an umbrella is fair game as well.
(Jared doesn't see the one huge eye and mouth sprouting on the umbrella as he is talking to Ball and Millie.)
Jared, JARED!! (Ball exclaims.)
(Jared looks at the umbrella.) AUGHH!!! (He screams, dropping it.)
Keh-heh-heh! (The umbrella laughs mischievously before bounding away on its single foot out of the room.)
Well, uh, that was different. (Millie says.)
Yeah, uh, I've got no words, let's just get that thing. (Ball says. The three of them run out after it.)

(Henry was curiously looking at a large vial of greenish liquid but quickly pulls away the moment Arthur warns he and James.)
(Tenn swallows nervously.) (So, uh, I know she fired some sort of weird colorful energy at me. I think she might have said...) (Tenn racks her brain until she finally recalls what she heard from Phoebe. Aaron will probably be able to feel her panic rising.) ( ...she said the spell she put on me would only be broken if she lifted it herself! Darn it, I don't want to be like this FOREVER! This body sucks and it's freezing!)
(Tenn groans.) (If I HAVE to face her and the real Kyurem like this, I will say that I remember the moves I was using when I thought I was really Kyurem, so...guess I'm not COMPLETELY helpless.)
I'm sure there are some that would help you be able to face her better, but I can't remember which ones would actually be helpful and which ones would cause something bad to happen to you or just be a nuisance. (Phoebe says to Alex.) One of them could make you larger and stronger or make you temporarily go up an evolution stage, while another could freeze you solid, make you go DOWN an evolution stage, or turn you into who knows what, like a tree or the person next to you or even a Legendary like your friend Tenn for all we know. Perhaps if I looked at my notes I could remember which one did what...

"FUUUUUUUCK!" Scipion roared at Dino Piranha somehow getting stuck inside a pipe before being killed by Serious Sam and Super Peasant. To his relief, Peewee Piranha fared much better as the angry monster got absolutely livid at Rayquaza and unleashed a powerful laser at it.
"That... wasn't our Rayquaza, right?" Onox nervously asked.
"Don't worry about that. But finally, Peewee made a... kill... OH MY GOD IS IT NAKED?? Can the Hunger Games show that??" Scipion exclaimed at Peewee Piranha losing its shell/diaper.
"I'm pretty sure they can." Morgan said.
"Well that's DISGUSTING!! SOMEONE KILL THAT DAMN BABY ALREADY I DON'T WANT TO STARE AT ITS STUPID BUTT!!" Scipion moaned, looking away.
Fortunately, Peewee Piranha eliminated itself at the Feast after eating psychedelic mushroom, eventually turning into a typical Mario mushroom.
"Finally..." Scipion groaned. That was probably one of the few times he wished for his tribute's death. He wasted no time and started to search for who he could nominate.
Unknown to the trio, someone else was watching them from outside.
A Hisuian Samurott.
With a disgusted scowl, the mysterious Pokémon left the area discreetly before being teleported away.
The Samurott was now at a small temple at the summit of a mountain near the Void Peak. The temple was filled with various statues depicting Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem. There was also an even older statue depicting what was likely their combined form, but it had crumbled with time
"Lord Cheops. I have returned. The Fox of Death seems completely oblivious of what's happening, as expected." Nobuo reported to a Cofagrigus.
Said Cofagrigus was surrounded by five other Pokémon. There was Tidus, a Foongus, Yip-Yop, a Vanilluxe, Goliath, a Crustle, Obio, a Reuniclus, and Rick, an Eelektross.
"Pfah! Perfect! That'll make one less fool to watch over. I really didn't look forward to taking care of Persephone's insolent youngster." Cheops cackled, rubbing his ghostly hands together.
"TROSS!!! ELEEEEK!!" Rick roared, furiously raising his arms in the air. Unlike his companions, this Pokémon was a wild one, but intelligent, akin to Proteus.
Tidus silently shook his head and waved his tiny arms at the huge Eelektross with a disapproving look. It looked like this young Pokémon was mute.
"Goliaaaath? Did you manage to get your pincers on the DNA Splicers? If that Gorebyss succeeded, we will need those!" Obio exclaimed with a naively curious look.
"Hmmm... No. I searched everywhere inside the Dragonspiral Tower after the white and black dragon left. And... well, they were gone." Goliath quietly said in a sad tone.
"And the great Kyurem? What about our mighty Lord? I do wonder where it is by now if she succeeded!" Yip said.
"Yes, I do too! Where is it?" Yop added.
"Enough Yip-Yop. For all we know, that Gorebyss may have perished by now." Nobuo coldly ordered before turning towards Cheops.
"Ah... Do not worry my fellow disciples. I did not tell this outsider where Lord Kyurem was imprisoned for nothing. I know worthy Pokémons when I see one. She has powers and skills beyond that of many Pokémons, and I met many in my long life! I know that she succeeded." Cheops said.
"But... If she did, then where are they? And what about the dragons?" Goliath asked shyly raising a pincer. Cheops didn't answer, his grin widening.

"And it looks like those pesky dragons-" Yip said.
"-have been absorbed by our one true master! Oh joy!" Yop added before both cackled.
"You were right, Lord Cheops! That Gorebyss from another world is a great ally!" Goliath said.
"Tsk! I can't believe this witch succeeded. I still don't trust her. She's too absorbed with herself." Nobuo grunted, shaking his head.
"Ah dear Nobuo... Relax. As long as our lord regains its true form, that is all that matters. But I believe it is time for us to welcome Master Kyurem back." Cheops said.
The cult of seven Pokémons got outside, led by Cheops. All bowed down as Black Kyurem landed, carrying Phoebe on its back.
"Oh Master Kyurem! It has been for far too long!"
"...You know me?" Black Kyurem flatly said.
"Oh yes, I do! You may not remember now, but I was your grand priest millennia ago when you were still yourself. But I don't expect you to recognize my companions here. They are not as old as I am." Cheops said.
"It is an honor to finally meet you outside of this cursed prison of yours! Heehee!!" Obio said, floating in the air.
Black Kyurem simply grunted with a nod. Having a mouth didn't mean it had become very talkative in the first place.
"Ah, dear Phoebe! I am glad to see you are alright. You followed well my instructions. Yes... I was right to entrust you with our master's liberation. You even already helped it absorb Reshiram and Zekrom. An impressive feat, indeed. You truly are a special Pokémon..." the cult's leader said to Phoebe.
"TROSS. TROSS?" Rick asked.
"Excellent question Rick. Dear Phoebe, where are the DNA Splicers? I guess you and Master Kyurem needs us to help you find them?" Cheops guessed.
Aaron sighed wistfully and told everyone what Tenn said.
"Oh crap... At least she remembers her move." Alex said.
"Then all we have to do is to get the evil Phoebe and beat the shit out of her until she turns you back to normal. And after she had Kyurem almost freezing me to death and what she almost did to Henry and James, I'm very pissed off at her. You're not going to stay like that forever." Arthur firmly said to Tenn.
The Pokémons then listened to Phoebe's explanations about her potions.
"...You can do all of that?" Tokage asked, dumbfounded.
"Wow... I understand better why that evil Phoebe is so hard to take on. You are a genius!" Nick exclaimed.
"Wait you could... turn me into a Charizard??" Alex exclaimed, his grin widening. The Charmeleon looked mischievously at Aaron and Tokage.
"...Oh no." Aaron said, gulping.
"Alex. If you do turn into a Charizard, you are not going to do some crazy stunts in the air with us on your back." Tokage firmly said.
"Oh come on!! That would be the first time I would be able to do so! You guys are killjoy..." Alex complained.
"Dear Phoebe... That is incredible indeed! Your potions could almost do anything!" James said to Phoebe with a grin, imagining himself becoming giant and crushing Kyurem easily, or becoming a superpowered (and even more classy) version of himself, or as a Bug-.
"AAAAIE!!" James suddenly yelped at the last vision, comically jumping in the air.
"Everything's alright?" Nick asked James.
"O-Of course everything is alright!" James said, regaining his composure before humming.
"But, ermm... Please do find these notes, miss Phoebe."

"Alrighty," Sei responded. "Imma make it somewhat quicker for them!" She rushed back to Thérèse and grabbed several floating titles and places one by one to form a make shift staircase.
At the last step, Sei has descended to the rest of the gang.
"Here ya go, one stop ticket to floor 5!" Sei explained.
Then she turned to Thérèse.
"Make sure the upper five tiles don't fly away! I'll keep an eye on the bottom five!"
As Sei said that, the top tile attempted to fly away but Thérèse grabs it in time.
"Now go before the middle tiles go bye-bye!"
