Imagine waking up in a hotel lobby. You quickly learn that the hotel has almost no exits. You are then told you were specially selected for a “harmless psychological experiment”. But you find the more you adventure through the hotel, the more off things become. More rooms appear and disappear, rooms completely change, just a general Mind Screw immortalized into building form. And that’s not talking about the ''thing’’ hunting you down.

This RP is exactly that. General rules apply (no godmodding, no unnecessary racism, don’t be a Mary Sue, have fun, etc...). Crossover characters are allowed, and the RP is always open.

Name: Damien Maxwell

Appearance: A beefy man in his late twenties. Spiky silver hair. Left eye blue, right eye red. Wears a black shirt, black cargo pants, and a brown duster coat. Shirt and pants are made of a bullet-resistant material and functions as body armor, coat just looks really cool. Wields two special metal Tonfas, made from a titanium alloy designed to survive extremes of temperature.

Powers and Skills:

Power: Thermal-Energy Kinesis - Damien can manipulate heat energy around his body, cooling with one hand while heating with the other. In combat, can use this to make one of his tonfas freezing cold and the other red hot. His limits are that he can't change the net amount of heat when using his power, he's just transferring the thermal energy. If he wants to make something in a room ice cold, the rest of the room gets warmer. Has a limited immunity to fire and cold, but prolonged exposure or secondary effects like smoke inhalation will still effect him.

Skills: Skilled hand to hand combatant, red belt level martial artist using both bare hands and tonfas. Has watched every episode of Firefly multiple times and can quote episodes verbatim.

Name - Christine Lance, aka White Siren.

Appearance - Short with a slim but mature build. Typically wears a white leather jacket over a short white lace dress. Her blonde hair is sideswept and has loose curls. She wears dark lipstick, high-heeled boots, and has deep brown eyes.

Powers and Skills - Christine has Make Me Wanna Shout capabilities and is a skilled singer. She's a character fusion of Black Siren and Christine Daae- while she's closer to Christine in terms of morality, she has Black Siren's superpower and smarts (she's nowhere near as naive as Christine Daae). She has some Heroic Seductress tendencies, but unlike Black Siren's use of her feminine wiles, it's mostly accidental on her part.

Appearance: Small and lithe girl in her mid-to-early teens, with purple-streaked black hair and purple eyes. Wears a black shirt and pants, combat boots, and a purple-lined sweater (she loves purple), and always has at least four knives on her person.

Powers and Skills: Can heal from almost any wound short of poison and nuclear weapons and is a very good fighter.

Powers and Skills - Knowledge from books about human biology and fantasy novels, immunity is a lot stronger than the average person, is able to withstand physical and mental pain, visualisation is quite strong and is able to think outside the box.

Fears: Strapped to an Operating Table, insects, Womb Level, zombies, "Fantastic Voyage" Plot and germs.

Appearance: 6'2", swarthy complexion, bald, dark permastubble, jeans with a snakeskin belt and large, silver belt buckle. shirtless with a number of minor scars on chest and back. One brown eye, one obviously cybernetic eye. Cutlass and scabbard at hip, sniper rifle at back.

Powers and abilities: Skilled swordsman and marksman, Tracker. Parkour and savate. Bionic eye has darkvision and telescopic capabilities. The cutlass is an Absurdly Sharp Blade and he has Improbable Aiming Skills with the rifle

• Name: Lucy Melanie Livingston
• Appearance: 5'2"◊. Thin and scrawny, skin is extraordinarily pale due to sickness. Always wears dark-coloured, form-disguising clothing. Her hoodie has an odd glossy sheen under certain lights—this is due to the ink she keeps stored in there.
• Powers and Skills:
  • Melanokinesis: The ability to psychically manipulate ink. Lucy is capable of forming it into semisolid tendrils for use in manipulating objects or pulling herself around the place, which is useful as she's physically too weak to do much herself by comparison. Her control is fine and well-practiced, but it can be disrupted through psychic attacks.
  • Melanogenesis: The ability to generate ink. Lucy does this by converting her body's fat and excess fluids into the substance, which she can then produce from her pores for her to manipulate. Prolonged use of this ability can rapidly emaciate her form to the point of starvation/dehydration, however, so she usually does it only when necessary. Rather smartly, Lucy has made a habit of generating small amounts of ink to store in the fabric of her clothing for later use, allowing her to access a large supply without putting her health at risk.

Oh, yeah. Here it is.

• Name - Lily

• Appearance - Caucasian girl in her mid-teens. "Ginger" hair let down loose in short, bouncy curls, about chin- to neck-length. Blue-gray-green eyes. Slender build (Not a stereotypical female figure, just slender). Pale skin, dotted with freckles. About 5 1/2 feet. Light, around 100 pounds. Flexible to an extent.

• Clothing - Tee patterned with pixels in varying shades of blue, from sapphire to cyan. Aqua-green leather jacket. Black fingerless gloves. Denim tactical pants w/ brown leather knee guards. Maroon-and-gold snakeskin cowboy boots. Short white scarf. White-rimmed black-lensed sunglasses, worn up (aka on forehead) most of the time.

• Gear - Tactical response dagger sheathed on hip. Custom-grade pistol w/ multiple firing modes holstered on opposite hip. Sunglasses double as tactical visor w/ infrared, ultraviolet, data, and targeting settings. Modified Fitbit w/ holographic projection, works as computer.

• Strengths - Creative, intelligent, optimistic. Crazy (a potential strength in certain situations). Stubborn.

• Weaknesses - Reactions to her fears, those being wasps/bees/hornets/yellow jackets and "voids" (Ex: black holes), trigger her very strongly, causing either an extreme instinctual fight-or-flight (usually flight) reaction or paralysis. Doesn't think things through very well at times. Can dominate conversations. Stubborn.

• Powers - Moderate-level reality-warping (Author type). Has the power to "rewrite" reality. However, is unable to:

  • A) Break reality in ways that could cause the story to be really boring

  • B) Do anything remotely Mary-Sue-esque

  • C) Be overpowered.

  • Power limits are self-imposed by both choice and level of experience. Mostly chooses to use them for simpler tasks, such as:
    • Conjuration/Hammerspace

    • Limited-range teleportation

    • Low-powered elemental attacks.
