6001's been watching her tributes with fear and intrigue since the bloodbath. She's been taking down notes on Sprout in particular, making quick sketches of the plant alien every time he grew into an uncontrollable forest.

Experiment 509 (Sprout)'s been putting his primary function to use, just as expected... says one of the captions of her drawings. Without Lilo around, he's becoming a huge threat to the other tributes, becoming aggressive at almost every opportunity.

However, there's something unusual that I observed about him on the third night... Above the caption is a somewhat detailed sketch of the experiment, who assumed a feminine human form as she fired star-shaped missiles at the Rathalos Huntress. The Magical Girl, as 6001 described her, looked similar to her other tribute Gaea Everfree, except that her dress had purple streaks and a high collar resembling the leaves around her original form's neck.

The drawings on the next few pages show Sprout back to his normal self, with additional notes about his quest to understand the meaning of love. After seeing Gaea cook and eat the experiment, 6001 mails her findings to Jumba, adding that it would take longer than usual to resurrect him since the scientists have to extract his remains from Gaea's body.

Speaking of Gaea, 6001 thinks back to the day she gave her the geode replicas at the Science Center. 6001 didn't want to corrupt Gloriosa, but she wanted to give her a power boost, hoping that she'd perform well in the Games. It pains her now to see the camp director lose her sanity, especially after being bitten by a rabid animal, but it had to be done.

6001 calls her scientists. "Once Gaea's done playing that minigame, capture her and extract what's left of Sprout, then send her back to the Arena later tonight."

She then hears the conductor's distress call on the radio. "Sorry sir, but I have a lot of work to do..."

Zanreo's Secret Base

"And there goes my second tribute..." Zanreo says to herself. "You should have known better than to eat that, Ryuka..." Some days earlier, Ryuka's fellow general Tsunemi had died from untreated injuries, possibly from the three-legged race earlier. At least the rest of the season should be entertaining to watch! Zanreo looked over her planned future tributes once again. While she hadn't made up her mind quite yet, maybe she should submit those tributes... would be entertaining to see just what they would do.

Exhausted by the previous events, Cell was sleeping. He was dreaming of his future victory over that accursed Goku and his friends. After that massacre, he went on to face his only ennemy, Gohan. He strangled violently the one responsible for his demise with pure joy, crushing his neck before letting go of the body. However, much to his horror, the young boy got up with an unusal smile on his face. A distorded voice came out of the boy, a voice that Cell was very familliar with.

   "sO... tHAt'S whAt VAlecOR prOMiSeD YOU, huh? PAthetIC, HeheHEhEhE..."   

Suddenly, a black smoke came out of the head, revealing the nightmarish monstrousity that attacked Cell.

   "You... How did you manage to find my dream? And how DARE YOU CRUSH IT??"   

   "EYahAHAhAhAHaHa!! SuRPriSeD? BEfORe ThAt IlLuMINaTI NAchOs SAveD You, i alReADy eStAbLiSHed a MenTal ConNEcTiOn WITh yoU 2 TRAitorS."       "Like it matters! I'm sure that Valecor already know that you're here!"    Scipion just cackled even more loudly at the answer.

   "HE WON'T. I aLReAdy dId SOmE TeST WIth SoME RAnDom PanEM CItTIZenS. UnLIkE HiM, I DEVEloPped ThE AbIliTy tO InVAdE DReAmS wHiLE StayINg HIdden FRoM OthER NigHtMARe InVAdErS . ANd doN't eVEn tHinK ABoUt TeLlINg HiM OncE YoU WOKe uP, AS I CaN MaKE my vICTims fORgEt AbOUt AnY DREAmS THaT I INvAdeD. ToO BaD THAt i stiLL caN't kIll peOplE IN thEIr SLeEP."   

   "Then why are you here? To torment me?"   . The smoke began to open up, revealing Scipion's soul at the center.

   "From what I've seen when reading your mind, you are one of Valecor's most trusted allies, being one of the first and the most active of his "friends". But from what I've seen with Infinite, he doesn't seems to be that loyal..."   

   "What do you mean? Explain yourself you crazy bastard."       "You and Valecor are idiots. Alliance is first based on trust. Now think about this, when your team is composed of villains who want to extend their empire, or killing people for fun... do you think they'll stay loyal? If Valecor manage to win, there will be civil war inside his own army. Because no one is loyal to him, they only joined him for their own purposes I'm certain of it."   

   "You lie. You have no proof. Valecor will find out about the traitors by himself."       "Ohohohoho! That's why Infinite is still amongst the group! But if you want more proofs, I could chat with other members as well once I have enough power to invade people's dreams that I did not met yet. Oh! And I also came here for another reason..."   

As he finished to speak, the sky and the environement began to tremble violently. Soon Cell found himself chained inside a perfect replica of Scipion's torture chamber. As he walked torwards the scared Cell, his claws becoming dark and nightmarish, Scipion said.    "Just as I was originally planning, I will play with you, just like I did with Infinite. He began to plee for mercy right after I put his intestine out of his body and called him weak. I hope you're tougher than him physically and mentally. A shame you won't remember it! But don't worry, I'll come back every night, so that I could have fun and feast on your pains and fears. EYAHAHAHAHA!!"   

Meanwhile, in Dracula's castle...

Death looked with shock as he saw his nightmare fuel's reserve empty. By his master's command right after his defeat, he came here in order to provide Valecor more powers for him to absorb as a sign of loyalty, but something stole it before he came. He turned back and said.

   "Scipion... I'm afraid he is the one who stole all of it while I was in the arena..."    "Exactly what I feared.", said a mysterious feminine figure. "Althought Valecor and his allies could represent a threat for me and your master if he unlock all of his powers, Scipion represents one as well, if not even more dangerous because of his increasing madness."

   "Do you know if this is how he... or more like his past-self was able to destroy everything in the previous timeline?"    The woman shook her head. "Even with my divine powers, I don't know how he did ot or how exaclty the end of this timeline went. The only thing I know for sure is that he deliberately took part of it. I'm afraid that he could do it again in this timeline, if he's left unchecked." She invocated a magic portal and invated Death to come with her inside. "Don't worry. Althought I usually fight dark beings like you and your master, this is an exception. The others are waiting, we should discuss about what we should do in order to weaken both Valecor and Scipion..."

Det. GC's Vacation Home

The detective slowly limps back to his home dragging a large sack, his clothes damp with blood. Clutching his arm, he weakly opens the front door and stumbles inside before regaining his balance. He finds his way to the healing chamber he had installed and casts his bloody clothes and sack aside before getting inside the chamber and turning it on.

An hour later the healing fluids recedes and he steps out, still weak but wounds treated. He puts the bloody clothes in the laundry and puts on some fresh ones before opening up the sack. The slain body of one of the black wolf-like monsters that attacked the train is still there. The detective collapses in an armchair to collect his thoughts.

Det. GC: Slain enough of those things to send the pack packing...ugh...someone's going to pay for this...

He sighs.

I need a break from heroism... perhaps throwing a party would do the trick... yes! I'll send invites to the other nominators! I'll need some time to prepare, so season 45 sounds like a good time to invite them! ...and maybe another party in season 49 as it's right before all of us are sent to the Hunger Games and it would be nice to have some quality time together before we start killing each other. Maybe one right after the nominator games as well to help heal from the aftermath.

Zanreo's Secret Base

"...Oh right, it's been three years already now?" Zanreo says, talking to someone. "I see... maybe I'll send in someone else for that occasion instead." Sudden change of plans... those other tributes could wait. This time, she would bring back her very first tributes from years ago, back in the other timeline. Of course, one of them had already been frequently submitted under Zanreo, both here and back then... maybe this would finally be his time to shine. The other one, however, was a newcomer to this "version" of the games.
She makes the preparations before getting ready to revive Tsunemi and Ryuka and send them back to Gamarket. Once they woke up in their own world, they'd have no memories of what happened... hopefully.

A debate of who to choose

The Legion was watching the events transpire and watched as Past!Pythor finished off Death, they were interested now

Grogar: It seems that one of those snake men will get a high position in the Hall of Fame, do you think we should recruit the best performing one?

HIM: Yes! That'll be a very wise decision!

Alastor: Well I think the other Pythor would be a great candidate, he's done his fair share of kills.

Nightmare:    We should wait until the Season's over, then we talk.   

The HGS Database Library, Basement, Day 8

"Welp... she completely lost it."

6001 watches the Arena feed with her eyes quivering as Gaea tears apart Death's bones with her tree branches. "Really, all for losing that minigame against him?!"

Moments later, Raiden punches Gaea with a sharp uppercut, blasting bits and pieces of her everywhere. Just above, a demonic Talim smiles as she brings the Grim Reaper back to life. "Kinda ironic, isn't it?"

6001 then calls her scientists to collect the gibs and revive the camp director, and also to remove the geodes worn around her neck. Once Gloriosa's sent back to Camp Everfree, she won't have any memories of this season, like 6001's other tributes. However, she can't guarantee that since the scientists haven't perfected the memory wiping process yet...

After the finale...

6001 just realized. "Has it been three years since this madness began?!" She checks the digital Earth Prime calendar mounted on the wall, and true enough, May 22 was marked with a hand-drawn birthday cake.

6001 tears up as she reminisces the day she nominated her very first tributes. She was in her bedroom back on Earth Prime, writing Discord's and Starlight Glimmer's names on small slips of paper. She put them in little envelopes and mailed them to Panem, and then turned on her TV to watch the season unfold. Just seeing her tributes stand on their podiums made her smile.

And then the horn sounded. Discord and Starlight settled their differences and teamed up to raid Kuja's camp on the first day, not knowing that they would eventually do the same back in Equestria to save Twilight and her friends from Queen Chrysalis. They then split up and spent most of the season chasing the other tributes or simply just trying to survive. Poor Starlight kept injuring herself while Discord was up to his usual tricks, stealing from Roman Torchwick and especially stabbing Lammy in the back. Although they died halfway through the season (Starlight was tied to a tree and left for the Forcefield by Roman while Discord died of thirst right after), they at least had a good run.

But 6001 isn't going to bring them back this season. Instead she'll nominate her very first reserves. She sits at her desk and begins writing the letters, peppering them with as many bad puns as she can before mailing them. "I hope they have a good time if they ever meet, since they have a lot in common..."

Dave's Home Base

Dave sighs to himself; getting the Fourth Place Curse is certainly grating, even though it's nothing new. Raiden and Thrawn's bodies are placed upon him. He shrugged, then teleports Thrawn's body elsewhere in a blue glow; he will need to do something else first, and he won't be getting anything if his enemies made it to him first.

His fist glows green once more, and the Protector of Earthrealm is resurrected. Before the Thunder God could do anything, however, Dave opens his fist, draining Venom's symbiotes from the deity and freeing him of its corruption.

"Explain yourself. What happened to me?"

"Lord Raiden, it seems upon your contact with the creature known as Venom, you unwittingly contracted its symbiote. I have heard that these symbiotes are very corrupting, much like the Amulet of Shinnok. Well, I can find a use for it in the future."

A flash appears, and the symbiote is now trapped in a titanium casing. Another blue glow, and the box disappears.

"Well, I have other things to do, Lord Raiden. You should return and check the current situation on Earthrealm. If I inquire need of your assistence, I will call you."

"Very well."

The God of Thunder teleports away in a flash of lightning. Dave's advisor enters the room.

"The time has come for a new season, sir!"

"Ah! What's it all about?"

An anniversary for the Original Generation timeline, sir."

"I see. That throws a little wrench for me, but what can I do? Send Nemo and Chester Bennington; they were my first OG duo, after all. Anyway, I do hope that the boy could get some catharsis on that Valecor after that eldritch bastard killed him at the last Battle Royale."

The two left to work out some more plans.

The new recruits and the appearance of Bale

The villains teleported Past!Pythor to their base, he was a worthy addition, same with Sir Pentious now that he managed to get close to victory

Grogar: Hello Pythor of 2012, I welcome you to the Legion of Doom, we are a group who seeks to dominate and conquer all dimensions, I think you'd like it in here.

2015!Pythor: Ah, would you look at those perfect purple and black scales? I was so good-looking back in the day. Too bad the dumb ninjas made me lose my pigmentation, but still, white suits me just fine.

2012!Pythor: Hmm, I guess this shouldn't be too bad.

Sir Pentious: Hey Alastor, guess who's now on the top?

Alastor: Who are you?

Sir Pentious cried in response shouting that he was a super-competent villain whining all the way. The other villains just laughed at him in response. Meanwhile a human was seen monitoring them.

VengefulBale: Oh yeah! This is a true dream team of villains! I am so excited to see who this will end! Aren't you Mr. Godzilla?

Mr. Godzilla was a Green Iguana who could talk but he was fairly apathetic to Bale's goals and fanboyism

Mr. Godzilla: Buddy, I don't give a single fuck about that, now let me sleep.

Bale: Okay, fine.

Tom and Janna's situation

Tom and Janna's ship was malfunctioning and they were in the middle of space and with only one lightspeed jump available

Tom: I think we're far enough from the other villains now even if our ship is on it's last legs.

Janna: So... where are we headed to next? We need to find a place to rest and repair our ship.

Tom: A planet where we can rest... Maybe Xandar?

Janna: What's a Xandar?

Tom: A civilized planet in a far-away galaxy, my mother used to tell me that it was home to an intergalactic justice force known as the Nova Corps. Perhaps they could help us with supplies and a place to rest as well as fixing this ship.

Janna: Well, we can't exactly lose anything with how we currently are, let's go there and hope we don't get seen as intruders.

Tom: Alright! Ship, set course for Xandar.

And so their ship warped in course to Xandar, but neither noticed another ship tracking them down

The Lor Starcutter has once again arrived.

Magolor spies the new tributes from above. He sees tributes of various sizes and shapes, even looking up to see planets(!). And then he looks down to see creatures such as cats, squids, and... is that a penguin and a little girl?

The detective receives a phone call and he answers it.

Ah, SCP Foundation! Been a while since i last talked to you guys, what's up? ...SCP-682 escaped and is heading towards the arena? Alright, i'll get right on it.

The detective picks the sack with the demonic wolf inside and goes to send it to a lab for analysis. When he returns he sits down an ponders.

Hmm, battling those wolf things was difficult both because they were they were like nothing I've ever seen and that i had to use skills I haven't used in a long while. wonder if I enter myself as a tribute to see if I've still got it.

He casually looks at the calendar.

Wait, today's the anniversary of the games? Then I'm definitely going in!

At Scipion's lair

After learning the end of the season, Scipion immediately went to nominate his next tributes. Before he could summon them, a tiny turtle walking on a ball jumped in

"Hello Mr. Scipion! How are you today?"

   "Oh, that's you Lemmy... I'm not quite in the mood right now, so if you could leave me here, so that I can nominate my tributes in peace."    "Oh, okay Mr. Scipion... At least I hope you will nominate exciting tributes for the original timeline anniversary!

Scipion suddenly froze, before turning back at Lemmy.    "Wait. The anniversary? Crap, I completely forgot about that! Well, gonna change my tributes right now, thanks for reminding me!"    The zoroark immediately left to quickly recruit other tributes than those originally planned. Lemmy just looked, confused, before using his wand to create a portal.

In a secret tower near Scipion's lair

As Lemmy arrived, he saw multiple figures inside the building. They were Scipion's elite guard composed of several tributes he have nominated in the past that he secretly kept with him, out of appreciation for them.

   "So..."    said a tall woman with snakes on her head.    "Who did he nominated for the anniversary?"    "Suprisingly, he forgot about that! That's weird, Mr. Scipion would never forget any special events like this one!"

   "Intriguing indeed..."    said Medusa.    "He must be obsessed with his plans and Valecor..."   

"He could also turn his power against us and the other nominators if left unchecked, just like he did in the past." said Cetrion, as she came out of her portal with Death at her side.

"Who are you?" yelled Zira ready to attack the two intruders.    "Calm down lioness. These two are fresh new recruits. Scipion don't and shouldn't know this until Valecor's problem is solved."    The godess introduced both of them to the rest of the group.

   "As far as we remember, you were never nominated by Scipion before..."    said the Cloud of Darkness to Cetrion.    "We suppose that you are one of his next tribute."    "Correct, I have received the invitation, althought I will not participate in that season, since he changed tributes at the last moment."

"And why would an agent of Valecor be part of our group?" hissed Pharynx. "He's maybe here to spy on us." Death replied:    "While I and the count appreciate Valecor himself and his aid, we both consider his allies as either pathetic worms or potential threats. Once humanity will be erased in our world, Dracula will only provide some of our troops and nightmare fuels to him. Should he or one of his allies invade our world, they will be punished. That is why I'm here, to ensure that Valecor doesn't grow too much powerful for my master while Cetrion is here in order to defend the balance of this realm."   

"So you're not here to help Mr. Scipion? He is a great person you know! At least, he was... Now he is more distant and mean. And that's no good." Ridley roared in protestation. He was also bloodthirsty as well yet this wasn't a problem.

   "I agree with Ridley. Scipion will always be an evil nominator. That is why most of us here are villains. The problem is he could attack us and our worlds if he lose his mind because of his nightmarish powers. Yet at the same time, Valecor represent a threat as well for him and most of us here, as he could or have recruit people that we despise, like the queen Chrysalis for Pharynx.    "EX queen. She abandonned us in the first place!"    "Whatever... Any ideas?"   

"The only thing we could do for now is to wait and observe all of his actions." suggested GLaDOS. "And Death doesn't want us to harm Valecor for now. To be honest, he and his allies intrigues me. I could maybe study them for, you know, science."

Listening to the AI's advice, the group decided their plan. Death will come back to Dracula and Valecor, alongside new "allies": GLaDOS, Ridley, Volvagia, Cloud of Darkness, Eris and Zira. They will serve Valecor while preventing him from becoming too powerful and also check out the other villains. Cetrion, Pharynx, Risotto, Lemmy, Ryuga, Medusa and Giegue will stays at Scipion's side for preventing him to go berserk. Of course, the two groups will secretly met in order to see what should be done next, depending of the future events. Their objectives were clear: protecting Scipion from himself and ensuring that the conflict with Valecor will not degenerate into an apocalypse.

As they were about to leave, they heard a sudden voice screaming in terror. Looking at the window, they saw Rakanishu, the new tribute yelling to Scipion as the elemental pointed at the sky. "You're crazy! How will THESE THINGS will enter the arena? How will THEY not crush us? AND HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO SUMMON AN ENTIRE COPY OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM???"

   "I like to keep my secrets. And for your information, I AM CRAZY! EYAHAHAHAHAHA!"    Indeed, a copy of the sun, the planets, the moons and different objects from the solar system were visible in the sky, waiting for the season to start. At this sight the group shared a laugh. At least, their nominator stil had that chaotic spirit that most of them appreciated.

Valecor's Lair

The minions Valecor sent out (which are a mix of the collective villains' minions) come back with their report on the building materials he sought for the upgrade to the walls of the lair.

   Ah, so you found enough titanium, mythril, and magical knowledge to pull this off? Good. So how much would this cost us?   

They tell him the price.

   $1,056,700!? I can't afford that much with my own ill-gotten gains, so have your masters pay for it!   

Some more minions arrive and frantically shout.

   Wait, what? SCP-682 is heading to the arena of his own accord? Keep me posted on what he does, seems like another potential ally.   

He gets up.

   I'll be leaving for GASK, I have some troubling concerns that they maybe be able to answer. Don't know what's taking the other minions I sent to look into bathroom and plumbing installations so long, so if they return while i'm gone give them hell for me.   

Venom wakes up to find himself in a large open space,almost like a storage room except nothing in it. Mett walks towards him,looking agitated.

"Damnit,Raiden isn't here. That must mean he got rid of the symbiote."

   "Who are you? Why am I here?"   

"Call me Mett,I had you placed in the Arena. I chose you due to your ability to bond with others,but it seems my plan failed. You did make it rather far though,so that's why I'm keeping you here." Venom retracts into Eddie.

"So,you're building some kind of army or something?"

"As a matter of fact,yes. One of my tributes joined Valecor's army,and I've heard rumors about the other "Tropers" building their own armies. I personally don't feel the need to start a war,but considering how likely a war is to start I have to prepare."

"Look,I appreciate the offer,but I don't see why I should help you."

"If a war starts,and Valecor wins,this means the Multiverse,and possibly more,will be left at his mercy. If you don't help me,your world WILL fall. Everyone you know will suffer." Eddy turns around and starts whispering to Venom. After about a minute he turns back around.

"Well,I guess I don't have much of a choice,do I?"

Mett grins. "I'm glad you're on board. Now then..." he runs to a computer that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. "Lets see who else I can recruit..."

Dag: Y-yes, sir!

Tabby's Homebase

"How long is she going to be like this?"

   "I don't know Pecan. She also needs time to recover so it would be a while until we get started testing on Mew Aqua safely."   

She begins to lose balance and nearly collapses to the floor.

"Woah there! I know you using necromancy sucks out a lot of energy outta you."

   "Yes, I know. Her surgery was pretty easy to do compared that was the nightmare of Flamberge's which was stitching her head up like a mummy. I already made preparations of next season so you don't have to be anxious and rush things up.   

"Who did you nominate? Someone worthy?"

   "Queen Cordelia and Queen Sectonia. Both are evil and power hungry queens. However they aren't entirely evil, The first one has a soft spot towards her second in command while the other is corrupted by an evil mirror given to her as a gift. Valecor and Scipion might be eyeing them.   

Spiderham, The 2-time winner of the Hunger Games which Tabby escaped with at the end of his 2nd victory tour, walks into the room.

"Hey, madam sorry to interrupt but are you going around to find the other tributes you nominated? You are still thinking of finding Loki anytime soon? Flamberge is getting really annoying to deal with the further away she is away from her emotional support person."

   "We'll be getting around to doing that around the 4th battle royale. The problem is that the nominator games are happening before that so I don't know to do about that. I really hope that Flamberge gets back to living with her sisters in peace, I also heard that the database manager, 6001, resurrects the deceased tributes and sends them back to their home with no memories of the games. The last time that I saw Loki was at the end of his Victory Tour so I don't know where he is now, He's probably having a peaceful life at his own district or is in custody of the Capitol due to his reputation. We see more about that, Spidey."   

"Thank you! Just to let you know that flamberge is getting her stitches taken off in 2 weeks so you can start up combat training again."

They both hold a thumbs up in agreement. Pecan hugs her teddy bear close to her while Spiderham walks back to the break room.

"So, where were we?"

Infinity's Bunker

Infinity and Ras walk into the bunker with a gigantic, sleeping wyvern in tow.

Capturing that Akantor was certainly a pain...

Tell me about it. I'm gonna have to go buy some more tranquilizer once we've gotten him moved to that replica volcano area I set up a while ago.

Can't you just use a spell or something to put the other monsters to sleep?

Nah.

...If it's that much of a problem for you, then fine. I'll stop fucking around while we're hunting. Let's just introduce this guy to his new home for now.

Infinity sets the sleeping Akantor down on the base's transporter, inputs the coordinates of the bunker's volcano habitat, and hits a button, causing the Akantor to disappear in a flash of green light.

Go look at the volcano habitat's camera and let me know if he's there.

I see him. Looks like he got there in one piece.

Good. Let's get ready to hunt the rest of the...

As Infinity said this, he remembered something.

Hold on a sec.

Infinity teleports Roman Torchwick and Kuja to the bunker.

You two. Head into the arena.

ROMAN: Why us, though? Can't you just nominate a couple more big ugly monsters and send them there instead?

Why you two, you ask? It's been three years since all this started, and I thought you guys might be up for some fun...

KUJA: ...Why not? We were due for another season one of these days, anyway.

I guess that's fair.

Now go, and put up a good performance for me, okay?

Kuja and Roman walk out of the bunker, where a hovercraft waits to take them to the Capitol. After they leave, Ras, confused by the whole exchange, looks at Infinity.

...Three years? It hasn't even been one year since these games started up!

Ah, right. I forgot you don't have your memories of the other timeline.

Other... timeline?

...Meh, it ain't really important. Just get ready to hunt some more monsters. I wanna try to bring more than one back with us this time.

The two then leave the bunker once more.

Valecor's Lair

The other minions Valecor sent finally arrive, carrying a bunch of plumbing equipment. Seeing as Valecor isn't there, Bill fills in for him and greets the minions.

   Well well well, look who's finally here with the bathroom stuff! Let's see, Valecor isn't here so he left a note around here about the plans for the restrooms...   

He rummages through Valecor's makeshift desk and eventually finds the note.

   ...hmmm... says here to make an underground interdimensional portal to connect to the sewage pipes so that the waste becomes someone else's problem. Also says that the same portal would be used to dispose of the wastewater from the laundry and our trash once a laundry room and trash chute is made. Sounds good to me!   

He turns around to take in the current scene. Some villains are busy listening to the music they've stolen, with this song currently playing. Then he takes note of the new human, who unbeknownst to him is a nominator.

   Hey, who's that guy?   

Zanreo's Secret Base

"Time to bring you two back as a team again..." She still remembers the first day she tried these games out, sending in CATS and Ika Musume. The squid girl had an interesting run and did things like selling her soul only to find out she didn't have one, put on the Queen's Ring, joined a cult and made an animatronic of herself - she even ended up getting third place! CATS, however, wasn't so lucky, and died during the very first day after getting a swirly from Smoke. But he had gotten many, many chances again after this, with varying results - after all, Zanreo was very fond of the memetic cyborg and wanted to see him somewhere in the Hall of Fame. In a season where she had nominated him, that is. And this would be the perfect time for a reunion of sorts... not that the tributes would remember anything from back then. Soon, it would be time for the usual character summoning...

The incident in Xandar

Tom and Janna had successfully landed on Xandar, where they were temporarily detained, at least until Tom proved that he was the Prince of the Underworld and therefore royalty. He explained that he needed repairs for the ship, which the Xandarians were willing to give. And soon he and Janna rested enough and they both were getting ready to leave.

Tom: Well it was nice being in Xandar for a while, but it's time to leave.

Janna: It was cool and all but I'm missing my home and weirdness already.

Tom: Okay, let's start this... Wait what's that in the sky?

Overhead in the skies of Xandar a gigantic spaceship was seen entering the atmosphere. While Tom and the Xandarians were aware of who was it's pilot, Janna was not. Suddenly they heard the Nova Corps mobilizing and preparing for battle against the fleet. Meanwhile on the ground, the civilians were taken to refugees.

Tom: We have to get out of here now!

Janna: Well could you explain what is happening here?

Tom: It's Thanos, a terrifying Galactic Conqueror he's destroyed entire civilizations in his wrath, my parents told me all about his omnicidal crusades, and that only half of the living beings in a planet we're spared, for an unknown reason!

Janna: Then how come no one on Earth or Mewni told us about it?

Tom: Look, Earth has never encountered Thanos, and Mewni is too dangerous and magically defended for Thanos to attack, and they have nothing of value there, but, why is he here? Did he track us down?!

Janna: Perhaps our whole escape was a set-up?

Tom: Well, we have no time to waste we have to leave no-

Tom was cutoff by a blast to their ship which blew it's wings and crashed it on the ground, both Janna and Tom were knocked out cold by the crash as the Black Order approached them.

Ebony Maw: Hmm, this must be the creatures that Thanos told us about.

Corvus Glaive: They don't look too strong like this.

Proxima Midnight: Remember our orders, we are to retrieve the Power Stone and bring these two to Thanos. Maw, make sure to restrain them.

Ebony Maw: Obsidian, tell our troops to search for the Power Stone and to execute half of the population once they're finished with the Nova Corps.

Cull only grunted in response as he walked towards the Chitauri ground troops. Meanwhile Thanos opened a communication channel with Maw

Thanks: Did you do what I told you, Maw?

Ebony Maw: Yes, we did, my Lord, they both are in our clutches now, should we bring them to you now?

Thanos: No, first thing, get the Stone, then bring them both to me, I'll send the coordinates after you have obtained the Stone.

Ebony Maw: As you wish.

Janna and Tom's escape was short-lived, and Xandar was about to face it's darkest hour.

Dr. Robotnik's Lair

The doctor has invented an interdimnesional teleporter and has Metal Sonic test it.

Dr. Robotnik: Ready, Metal?

Metal Sonic nods his head and the doctor sends him to another universe.

Dragon Ball Earth

Frieza has gathered all seven Dragon Balls and was about to make his wish when Robotnik's invention warps him to another universe and replaces him with Metal Sonic.

Shenron grants Metal Sonic's three wishes to be free from Robotnik's control, to have the body he had in Sonic Heroes, and to return to his home universe.

Dr. Robotnik's Lair

Metal Sonic, now in his Neo Metal Sonic form and back at Robotnik's lab, beats Robotnik to a pulp and causes mass destruction to Robotnik's lab.

Dr. Robotnik: Metal! What are you doing!?

Neo Metal Sonic:   I'm my own master now!   

Stealing the seven Chaos Emeralds from Robotnik, he quickly checks the energy signatures the interdimensional teleporter locks on it to find where Frieza was sent to and presses the button, sending him there.

Xandar

Frieza arrives on Xandar when one of Thanos' minions was firing at something for target practice, accidentally shooting Frieza.

Confused and angry, Frieza starts going on a rampage, killing some of Thanos' minions. Neo Metal Sonic arrives shortly afterward, and sensing the energy of the Power Stone, flies after it.

Dave's Home Base

A warning alarm suddenly blares out. Dave steps in to the main hall.

"What's going on? Why is the alarm activated?"

"Sir, we've received a transmission from Xandar. They're under attack."

"What?! Who did this?"

"We've identified the flagship. It's.... the Sanctuary II."

Dave growls in anger.

"Thanos, the Mad Titan.... Send 25,000 flight drones and 50,000 flight-capable combat droids. Evacuate the citizens, and locate the Orb before the Children of Thanos gets to it. If it's a fight he wants, he's going to get it all right."

Later

"Sir, our forces are ready."

"Good. Send them in now."

The armed forces is enveloped in a great light, blinding everyone. When it disappears, they're gone. A few seconds of silence.

"Sir, they've arrived in Xandar."

"Good. Activate battle orders."

The war is only beginning, after all. Dave leaves the room, summons his black coat, wears it, and departs with a Corridor of Darkness. There's a business to do with his Benefactor, after all.

The Confusing Counterattack

The Black Order were thrown into a confused state due to the sudden arrival of multiple unidentified beings attacking their troops on the ground and air

Proxima Midnight: Maw, retrieve the Stone, now!

Corvus Glaive: We have to obtain it before they do! Hurry up!

Maw then used his telekinesis to rip the Orb out of the Broker's hands and levitated it towards him, but none of the Black Order noticed that Janna and Tom escaped through a magic portal

Corvus Glaive: Where did they go?

Proxima Midnight: It doesn't matters anymore, we have what we wanted, we'll finish off Xandar and recapture those two later.

Ebony Maw: Troops, we retire for today.

As soon as that was said the Order fled the scene alongside their remaining troops and the Sanctuary II warped to Valecor's Lair to meet up with Thanos, though they only could obtain the Power Stone, they hoped the Mad Titan would be satisfied with just that

Meanwhile with Tom and Janna

Tom and Janna were recovering from the crash, Tom used a little magic to Warp themselves away to an isolated part of Xandar, hoping Thanos or any other villain won't find them there.

Tom: Janna, are you okay?!

Janna: Yes. Don't worry about me, I've been through worse.

Just as that Janna coughed and started bleeding from her abdomen, showing that bits of metal and shrapnel encrusted themselves in her after the explosion

Tom: Oh gosh, that's not good! We have to take somewhere to heal!

Janna: Don't worry buddy, just leave me here, save yourself.

Tom: I won't ever leave any of my friends to die alone! I will find a place where you can heal and save your life, even if I have to risk us being tracked down in the process. Don't worry Janna, I know somewhere we should he able to go to where they'll help.

And as that Tom opened another portal with destination to an unknown place

Xandar

Still angry, Frieza steals a ship after killing its pilot and flies after the Sanctuary II, with Neo Metal Sonic doing the same to another ship.

Valecor's Lair

Eventually Frieza and Neo Metal Sonic land at Valecor's lair and exit the ships.

Cell:   Oh great, it's the guy who lost to Goku twice! And who's pile of scrap metal behind him?   

Neo Metal Sonic uses the power of the Chaos Emeralds to turn Super and slam Cell into the opposite wall, taking him by surprise and stunning him.

Frieza, meanwhile sees the forces that shot him and out of spite shoots the Power Stone with a Death Beam, managing to crack the stone.

At Valecor's lair

   "Unbelievable..."    Death stared in disappointment as the villains fought each other. He just arrived with his new allies so that they could join the legion and this was the first thing they had to witness.

   "We share your disappointment."    told Cloud of Darkness to him.    "We wonder how exactly Valecor intend to control worlds if he cannot make peace between his own troops."       "Frieza and Metal Sonic are not part of the legion. But I hoped that my "allies" could take care of them, yet they failed miserably."    Death replied, pointing at the cracked stone.

GLaDOS, temporarily turned into a potato to be transported, commented the battle with her usual snarky comments. Zira and Eris soon joined her and decided to bet on who would win.

"I'm betting on the purple man over there." said Zira. "I can sense a lot of power and charisma from him, even if it's nothing compared to Scar."    "Please, be realistic Zira. First, Scar cannot be compared with any of them. And I'm sure that Frieza will easily crush them."   

"That's nice and all but why wouldn't you bet on the robot?" asked GLaDOS, annoyed that her 2 companions ignored the other AI. The lioness and the godess simply pointed at Ridley. The space pirate didn't hesitate and joined the battle for his own amusement. He viciously grabbed Neo Metal Sonic as he looked like that annoying hedgehog from the Smash tournament, taking him by surprise before slamming his head violently on the ground. He then started to drag him across the ground with an excessive speed while roaring in delight.

Seeing this, Death decided that it was enough, asking Volvagia to put an end to this masquerade. The dragon invocated it's powers before slamming into the ground, creating a mini-volcano that immediately erupted, preventing Ridley to completely destroying the robot and grabbing the attention of every present villains.

At Scipion's guard tower

   "Amusing."   , murmured Medusa as she looked at the transmission her partners just sent to her.

"That's pathetic!" exclaimed Ryuga. "I'm sure that I would crush them all with L-Drago!"    "Please, watch out for your ego."    said Risotto.    "Althought I have to admit that that your spin top is powerful, you're still an human."    "It's a Beyblade, not a child's toy." grumbled the young man.

As they saw Ridley attacking Neo Metal Sonic, Lemmy began to cheer for Ridley. "I thought you disliked violence." said Pharynx. "Not when it's one of my friends! GO MR. RIDLEY!"

   "Oh, I see that you're having fun."    Everyone turned around to see Giegue, entering the room.    "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've got some news concerning Scipion. He told me that he was going to Xandar for "helping the civilians". But I'm afraid he is up to something bad... We should maybe send someone fo-"   

"No". interrupted Cetrion.    "But why? You know that he could go berserk and attack the inhabitants!"    "Indeed, I have secretly placed a microscopic camera on him. We need to see what kind of powers he got. This will also serve as a proof of his corruption if he attacks them for the other nominators and Snow. We will have to work with them to stop Scipion's madness." "So much for the godess of virtue." said mockingly Ryuga.

At Xandar

Using a portal, the nightmarish horror came just in time as Thanos and Dave's forces left the planet. Taking by surprise the inhabitants weakened by the previous attacks, he litteraly ate them all, one by one, absorbing their fear and souls. But it wasn't enough; the more he eated, the more destructive he became. However, after half of the population of Xandar was exterminated, Scipion was attracted by something as he saw two beings escaping via a portal. It was Tom and Janna, that he thought were still loyal to Valecor. His hatred for Valecor was enough for him to giving up on his slaughter. Using some of his newfounds powers, he invocated a mini black hole, leading to the place where Tom and Janna headed, determined to catch them, no matter what.
