I think Darth Vader saving Luke from the Emperor and being fatally wounded in doing so is well known enough to make this a Keep Until Better Image Suggested case...pending something more clear, maybe it could be paired with a pic of him attacking the Emperor.
Pull.
Not everyone has seen Star Wars.
It would be better if paired with a pic of him attacking the emperor. The current pic just shows "death" (and not very clearly), with the "redemption" part only implied by the caption.

Keet cleanupFor a while, original trilogy Star Wars was assumed to be culturally ubiquitous enough that they were a bit laxer with JAFAAC, but I agree that this is one of the worse ones.

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on in the current image. Suggestion might work - I think it'd only really need the last two or three panels though.
Pull
To have an image for this page it would have the show the villain being villainous, their act of redemption and finally their death.
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?I'm thinking we should use Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2 if Darth Vader doesn't work out image-wise. Him robbing a Bank, Him stopping the machine, and him sinking down the depth of the cold icy water.
It even has a potential quote:
"I will not die a monster!"

Darth Vader is one of the few characters whose villainy is well-known enough that we don't need to establish that in the image.
Does he have his helmet when attacking Palpatine?

Keet cleanupHe doesn't even have the iconic helmet that gives him the aforementioned JAFAAC pass in the image, though.
EDIT: Voting to pull, btw.

Yes, he does; Luke takes the top of the mask off during the sequence in the pic.
My issue is... even if we go by the assumption that everyone knows Darth Vader... how does this pic illustrate the trope? This image banks on the assumption that people will know the exact context going on to understand how the trope is being portrayed by the image, which means this image doesn't portray the trope, peoples' outside context does...
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI vote for pull too, nothing in the image illustrates the trope, and even if people who haven't seen Return of the Jedi would know Darth Vader as iconic villain, they wouldn't recognise him here because he's without his ubiquitous helmet.
I still say just add the pic of him attacking Palpatine. I hate when people just say pull (unless it's blatant JAFAAC) without a replacement suggestion.
Keet cleanupPull regardless of replacement.
Edit: I think Shadao's montage and caption suggestion would work.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The current page image is a blatant JAFAAC, for reasons already mentioned.
I vote pull.
Okay, since no one has made a Doc Ock montage yet, I'll give my rough suggestions...
Option 1:
Option 2:
I would like feedback since it wasn't easy finding the right images to depict a redemption. And I hope this will lead to more fruitful discussion.
I can see the "death" part in the Dock Oc pics, but not the "redemption" part. Nothing in them indicates he's a villain or that he's dying to redeem himself.
Noted.
As for adding Darth Vader throwing the Emperor off the ledge picture...
Unfortunately, the film itself doesn't really offer good screen caps that highlights Vader doing that deed well (as an evil looking guy or doing something heroic). The best I can offer is an artwork collage:
Picture Sources:
Veeeery slight improvement over current, but can barely tell what's going on in the left image.
Do we have a better Darth Vader throwing the Emperor off the ledge then? I can't find any official artwork that better depicts this moment, and I'm not going into DeviantArt just yet.
My attempts to get a clearer image for the left is not really working. Not even with the resizes and higher details. TV Tropes shrinks them way too small.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Perhaps I've fallen victim to Pop-Culture Isolation here, but I don't see the "redemption" part of the image, and the device in his mouth almost makes me think "death" but that doesn't seem clear either.
My initial replacement suggestion would be the last five panels of this Free Cow comic, but those might not be easily convertable to wiki size.
