yeah the BR only has 36 tributes, i think because the option exists and 12 is a nicer number than 16. at least that's all the logic i'd need.

That, and every 12 seasons is the Goldilocks number: 8 (24 PFs) is too short while 16 (48 PFs) is too long.

- (Player1) slashes (Player2)'s eye and chops off (his/her2) arm and legs, sending (him/her2) falling off a cliff, but (he/she2) somehow survives.
- (Player1) summons a portal and puts (his/her1) hand through it to scratch (his/her1) own back.◊
- (Player1) wants to win the season for (Player2), while (Player3) wants to win because (Player4) tells (him/her3) to. (Also in Bloodbath)
- (Player1) puts up a sign that says: "the dog is okay. Beware of owner," in front of (his/her1) camp. (Player2) then spots it while walking.
- (Player1) smiles for so long that (his/her1) head pops up like a balloon.
- (Player1) wishes to be a comic book artist who's bigger than Disney.
- (Player1) pushes (Player2) so hard that (he/she2)'s sent moonwalking safely out of the Arena, but (Player1) snipes (Player2) from inside the Arena. (Fatal)

Had this idea for a new themed season for a few days. Don't know if now would be a good time to discuss it, but might as well at least mention it:
Handy Season - This is actually a pun-based title, as not only is it about handymen (i.e. Fix-It Felix) but also about tributes known for their actual hands (i.e. Doctor Strange, Master Hand, something Glove World-themed from SpongeBob, etc.).

Some event ideas-
- (Player1) gets killed by a pair of coyotes.
- (Player1) kills (Player2), (Player3), (Player4), (Player5), and (Player6) after they bury (him/her1) in a sand sculpture.
- (Player1) kills (Player2) after the latter gets drunk with power.
- (Player1) writes a book about last season's winner.
- "Thank you very much, (Player1), for doing the jobs nobody wants to," (Player2) says to (him/her1).
- (Player1) finds a book that lists every HGS tribute's fate for this season & all future ones. Though, it's in another language (Player1) doesn't know.
- (Player1) becomes a memetic badass.
- (Player1) becomes a memetic loser.
- (Player1) is a (Player1) person in a (Player1) world.
Non-Fatal Event
- (Player1) manages to survive the chaos that the alternate universe tributes caused.
- (Player1)'s alternate universe self proves how evil (he/she1) is by brutally killing (his/her1) prime universe counterpart.
- (Player1) sacrifices (himself/herself1) in order to kill (his/her1) alternate universe self.
- (Player1)'s alternate universe self brainwashes (his/her1) prime universe counterpart into killing the latter's friend (Player2).
- The AU version of (Player1) impersonates (his/her1) prime universe counterpart in order to trick (Player2) into falling for a deadly trap.
- (Player1) kills the prime universe of (Player2) after mistaking the latter for (his/her2) alternate universe counterpart.

- It's gonna take more than a pierced liver to bring Clark down.
- Pat gets a tap on the head, courtesy of Lugnut.
- BAM! Kite-Man gets an even meaner tap on the head, courtesy of the Gentleman Ghost.
- Boom Goes the Dynamite! Yosuke should have checked his bag more properly. I'm sorry Hype.
- The final two of Season 176 have a minor confrontation.
- CATS makes like a cell and splits.
- Like any good detective, Herlock has brought a handy camera, and so did Goku Black.
- Right to Live Denied! Everyone in the Arena must have an official license to live, Vernon, too stuck in his own ways, didn't think too much of it, and he ends paying the price.
- There's a big ol' jungle in the Arena, and Antasma is in it.
- Buggy Betrayal! The mosquito was too busy with the future, and never saw the fly coming. Springtrap liked it so much, he witnessed it twice.
- We're not dealing with an average dumpster fire anymore.
- It's a well known fact that Yakuza protagonists "never" kill people, but Sakamoto is willing to change that.
- Omni-Man is supersticious, but considering his nominator's usual luck, I can't blame him.
- Sponge thinks this is a perfect time to sell hotdogs, Splodyhead joins in on the fun as well.
- Robin and Lucina don't have much hope in winning, it seems.
- Someone needs to do something about these impostors someday.
- Twilight stops Bang Chan from idling around for his sake, but her methods are a little rough.
- The moth gets to grinding immidiately.
- Mario speedruns his way into getting a new killer's license.
- Bubbles is quite the wordy type.
- Vivian makes sure everybody's done with their business.
- The others abscond as usual.
- Khameleon doesn't believe in gravity, until she's forced to feel it.
- Bang Chan swats away a fly, it lives through the ordeal, but not before being sold on a discount.
- Omni-Man hangs out at Ichi's Underground Bunker.
- The Flame Emperor obtains a giant steamed ham.
- What Did You Say to Me?! Clark might be able to survive with a harpoon embedded in him, but to Goku Black, he's just another target out of thousands.
- Sponge will not be stupid today.
- Lugnut admires his perfect polish.
- Ryunosuke learns what "boof" means.
- Unsurprisinly, cooking with a dumpster fire does not yield good results.
- It's Interview Time! This coverage will net us a lot viewers.
- The Speed Demon leaves Mario, now he'll have to speedrun the normal way.
- As if we needed more proof that Purple Guy is not Phone Guy.
- The Gentleman Ghost becomes a Gentleman Detective.
