Redemption Equals Death for Overhaul? I guess Tomura's Draco in Leather Pants legacy in the OG lives on here.
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."Kutaka is probably going to win
Welp, so much for Overhaul's redemption arc.
If I.N threw that bucket of water over him in the hopes that he'll stop killing people, well, I think he succeeded
- Gorosaurus attempts a Heroic Sacrifice, but the Gamemakers are having none of it. "If you're going to off yourself," say they, "at least do so at the conclusion of an intriguing character arc."
- BEES◊
- Mossy has become so strong, he can shatter Genjuro's bones without even touching him.
- Delcatty aces That One Sidequest first try.
- Kutaka invokes another Jojo reference. Giorno really does live on within her.
- ...ew. Amusingly enough, I think that's the most evil thing Onaga has been so much as accused of doing this season.
- I.N. and Ryuzaki set aside their differences and become business partners. Barney and ExVeemon assume they're running an amusement park. They discover too late it's a disguised tribute meat farm. Ryuzaki looks pleased with what he's done, but I.N. looks... nauseated?
- Sealand takes a break from the carnage to do innocent kid things with Miyuki and Dr. McNinja.note
- The night ends on Garrus... derping around, I guess.
- It's mid-November in Earth Prime time. Scarf season is upon us, and Miyuki and Onaga are dressed for it.
- Harley complains about his camp's video game selection.
- One professional musician and two very unusual backup singers perform a number about piracy for Delcatty.
- Sealand is still just being a twelve-year-old, really. How did this kid win a season again?
- Sanity Has Advantages. One such advantage is that you can carry out basic everyday tasks without inflicting grievous bodily harm upon yourself.
- Teruya did... something. We won't tell you what, but even Loki is horrified, so take our word for it when we say you don't want to know.
- We end once again on Garrus, who nabs himself a potential weapon to use later.
FALLEN TRIBUTES◊: Genjuro, Barney, ExVeemon
be nice to benjamin it's not his fault he got beat up by a microbeDunno why, but I feel an event coming up.
After some discussion on Discord, we kinda sorta agreed that what I.N and Ryuzaki did was an indirect kill at best. That event was vaguely worded even if it was meant to be a natural death, so it should be revised next season.
Regardless, they're getting really unhinged, but I.N singing a K-POP cover of A Professional Pirate softened the blow, I think?
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."Indeed, I headcanon that they indirectly killed ExVeemon and Barney in a way that ensured that there wouldn't be any kills counted for them, possibly via a NPC accomplice or something. They, especially I.N in particular, may have done this to get rid of other tributes while avoiding being eligible for the next Death Battle.
All of that aside, though, it's nice to see the two villains working together.

Well, nice to see Ryuzaki continues down the path of Villainy, that's one interesting Enemy Mine
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."ExVeemon burger? Don't Digimon dissolve into data when they die?
I'm neutral about the meme, but she was beautiful. And dang, looks like you summed up data clonesnote in that post. Does this mean that if Digimon are data cloned, they're... data data clones?
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."- Loki attacks Mossy again, this time going for an ambush. Garrus spots Loki too late to save the shrew's life.
- It turns out Ryuzaki wanted milk so he could bake muffins for Onaga. Sadly, the baking process went about as well as his attempts to open the milk carton did.
- Kutaka Niwatari presents The Adventures of Dr. Delcatty!
- I.N. has retreated to an isolated river to have a drink. There's a haunted look about him now.
- The Harlequin Demon has a totally mundane night.
- Teruya plays dirty and tries to rob his rivals of their beauty sleep.
- Delcatty conducts an orchestra. I imagine it sounded a bit like this.note
- Miyuki disarms Kutaka, but decides to spare her life and just messes around with her.
- The audience bears witness to a traditional Sealandic punishment.
- I.N. returns from isolation, and helps Teruya on a quest to find the brain of Frankenstein.note
- Last but not least is the triumphant return of rock star Onaga!
Ichi's Arena Event sense is tingling, and it would be correct! Coming next update, the event that chows down on a huge chunk of the remaining roster - it's The Feast! Stay tuned...
be nice to benjamin it's not his fault he got beat up by a microbeOh no, I.N's come into close contact with Paper's newest student... I hope he's not planning to send his hired gun to kill Teruya...
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."Huh. Didn't think I'd be right.
I.N's either mellowing out or just biding his time again. Hmm...
- I.N. and Teruya have successfully discovered Frankenstein's brain. Now I.N. takes it all for himself by... tickling Teruya into submission? An interesting method. And a noticeably harmless one.
- Oh shit, Super Onaga! Though admittedly, he'd be more threatening if he'd displayed a hint of malice prior to this.
- Kutaka, trying to be silly, asks if the quadruped has arms. She wasn't counting on Delcatty cracking a lethal Exact Words joke in response.
- Garrus doesn't stop to think, hey, maybe a child's Minecraft server requires you to keep your language child-friendly.
- Gorosaurus needs help. All he gets is a dad joke. Honestly, I'm thinking he's the new Woobie of the season.
- Ryuzaki takes another tribute's head! Unfortunately for him, Dr. McNinja learned how to survive without a head all the way back in ninja medical school. Is there no end to the man's abilities?
- Loki spends the night playing on that Xbox he stole all the way back in the Bloodbath.
And now, it's time for the meal of malice itself! It's THE FEAST!◊
- Ryuzaki cocks up an everyday task for the last time.
- Onaga now possesses the power of all seven Chaos Emeralds, and he uses it to... manifest in the other tribute's food and annoy them? Alright then.
- Even headless, Dr. McNinja can score spectacular kills! But without any eyes, he can't tell whether what he's killing is a tribute.
- Delcatty dines on grilled turian.
- I.N. does not like green eggs and ham. He does not like them, Sam-I-Am.
- Sealand, Loki, Miyuki and Teruya all pass up the opportunity to Feast.
- Dr. McNinja discovers he was born Dr. McSnow. The "Mc" is obligatory, by the way.
- Sealand wants ice cream. A Harmless Villain and a not-so-harmless one join him in screaming.
- I.N. is isolating himself again, tending to a small rock garden in the far corners of the Arena.
- After multiple near-death experiences, Gorosaurus finally dies from... thinking too hard, I guess?
- Out with Harlequin Demon, in with Демон Арлекин.
- "What a beautiful duwang!", comments Delcatty as he admires his camp. I guess killing Kutaka has passed the spirit of Giorno on to him.
- Teruya re-enacts a scene from the best Didney Wars movie, don't @ me.
FALLEN TRIBUTES◊: Kutaka, Ryuzaki, Garrus, Gorosaurus
be nice to benjamin it's not his fault he got beat up by a microbeYeah, I think I.N's really mellowing out now. Huh. And he's still alive, too? Amazing.
That might not stick for long, though...
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."Rooting for Dr. McNinja.
Well, fook, RIP Ryuzaki
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."So it all comes down to this. With a mere nine tributes left, splitting their escapades into bite-sized chunks no longer serves a purpose. Which is why I'm not going to bother. Here it is... the finale!
- Harley and Onaga accept an invite to go on Masterchef: HGS Arena Edition.
- What little sanity I.N. had left shatters entirely, as he becomes convinced Teruya manufactured all his suffering.
- Even Sealand has been bitten by the JoJoke bug!
- In honour of the late Kutaka Niwatari, an unlikely duo team up to make The Adventures of Dr. Delcatty a reality.note
- The Giant Death Chicken is one of the oldest and most renowned Asgardian military weapons. I'm sure Miyuki would have loved to learn this, but he's too busy getting killed by one.
- Harley goes to find a snack he pocketed during the Feast - but oh no! It's been stolen!
- Delcatty narrowly escapes Sealand's wrath when a "Just Joking" Justification proves insufficient.
- Horrified at the concept of a human who can survive while headless, Loki chops off every other part of Dr. McNinja. Sure enough, even the most extraordinary talented tribute in the Arena has limits to his durability.
- Teruya plots to kill Onaga, once the time is right...
- With his sanity gone, his spirit broken, and even villainy no longer appealing, I.N. just... gives up. Thus does one of the all-time great HGS character arcs reach its bitter conclusion.
FALLEN TRIBUTES◊: Miyuki, Dr. McNinja, I.N.
- Loki attempts to dispose of Onaga through dimensional rifts, but Harley intervenes and saves him. Friendship? Nah, they just haven't finished competing on Masterchef yet.
- Asked by a Gamemaker interviewer why he doesn't like Teruya, Delcatty admits it's mostly because of their differing opinions on arachnids.
- Sealand suddenly realises, crap, there's only six tributes left and I'm one of them! He promptly vows to get his killing game on.
- 4/6 remaining tributes play a game of Whack-a-Demon.
- Onaga forgets he has both wings and the Chaos Emeralds, instead choosing a very convoluted way of ascending a mountain. It goes fatally wrong very quickly.
FALLEN TRIBUTES◊: The Harlequin Demon, Onaga
- Sealand attempts to murder Delcatty in primal fashion, but succeeds only in shrinking the feline Pokemon. Somehow.
- For the Ultimate Merchant, Teruya has a pretty dubious grasp of economics.
- More anticlimactic deaths as Loki botches a simple teleport spell.
- One last anticlimax for the road as Delcatty turns out to have been suffering from untreated appendicitis all season.
- Our final confrontation of the season is a far more exciting one, as Sealand and Teruya duke it out for first place. The battle ends spectacularly, with Sealand punching the Ultimate Merchant hard enough to blast him into Ludicrous Gibs, and thus the young anthropomorphised micronation is declared the winner of HGS Battle Royale X!
FALLEN TRIBUTES◊: Loki, Delcatty, Teruya
- First Place: Sealand, nominated by Arimo The Reindeer
- Second Place: Teruya Otori, nominated by Tropers/ultimate_life_form
- Third Place: Delcatty, nominated by Tabby Girl 4
- Mass Murderer: Loki, nominated by Tabby Girl 4, with five kills
Well, blow me away! That was a truly spectacular season - everything you would hope a Battle Royale would be and more! I leave you with this message from Nominator Kafkaesque, who says his S131 entrants are going to be the return of a designated signature tribute, plus a companion from his source material...
I'm Leonard Sutton, and this has been the Hunger Games Simulation, Season 130, Battle Royale X! Have a lovely night, viewers!
Aaaaaaand tribute time.

shouldn't his favorite genre be RPG and not point and click though
A certain Fashion Officer wouldn't have liked that drawing of yours, I.N...
Anyway, I'm surprised he hasn't directly killed anyone yet. Guess he's just biding his time.
