Tropers: The Series

“She’s a computer character from a popular cartoon, don’t sweat it if you’ve never heard of it before. I have a friend who doesn’t get pop culture references either because well, he’s not from Earth.”

Arimo calls him over. “Baryl?”

Baryl comes over. ”Yeah? Hey Arimo? Did you see those drum sets? They’re so cool! Hey, who’s this?”

"Well, I guess I'll take this mysterious potion from this mysterious old woman who we've never met who just snuck in!"

Puma drinks the potion. He is suddenly lifted into the air. Flower petals appear and start swirling around him. But instead of disappearing, Puma comes back down from the petals, human again.

"Woohoo! Thank you, mysterious lady! But who are you?"

"It's no problem at all, but don't worry, my "fren." You'll find out much more in episode 10!" She does a Noblewoman's Laugh.

Custard stares at the blue humanoid Arimo introduced with a "8O" expression.

"Uh... hello?"

Meanwhile at the Judging Table...

"(Long sigh) It's been like a bunch of hours now, and no 'band' or even 'battle' is here! Or even an 'of', or 'the'! Maybe i'll just have to wait more..."

(Meanwhile, in Ford's room, he was getting ready to walk down the aisle. He was wearing a three-piece suit, which consisted of a dark blue pin-striped longcoat, a argyle waistcoat, pink dress shirt, black and blue striped tie, black dress pants, and white shoes. Basically a more elaborate and formal version of his regular outfit. Robin was wearing a white shirt, a blue tie, black pants, and Ford's regular jacket.)
"Well? How do I look?"
"Chey's gonna be running to you, that's for sure."
(Robin chuckles.)
"Hey, where are the groomsmen?"
"I don't know... I wish they were here."
"Yeah..."
"Oh! I got something to give to Chey. May you please take it to her when you see her?"
"Sure! What is it?"
(Ford then gives Robin an envelope.)
"It's a card."
"Ahhh. I'll go find her."
(Ford then hugs Robin.)
"Good lad."
(Robin smiles at Ford. He then leaves Ford's room. Meanwhile...)

Steph seemed to have drunk a bit too much from the champagne fountain earlier and stumbles down, tuxedo all messed up from falling down. "Ufff, of all days to be clumsy, (hic)." Steph remarks.

"Oh!" says Mrs. E. "Where are the bride and the groom to-be? I've brought a wedding gift to fill them with glee."

Baryl stares at Custard’s monitor. ”Oh! It’s a computer!”

“This guy is from some Secret Star System. He’s a celebrity on his planet, but his band accidentally left him behind.”

”I’m gonna drum for the wedding I think.”

Reception Area

"They're getting ready. Can you wait a bit?"

"Oh, no, I'm not just any computer. I am..." Custard leaves a dramatic pause before shouting "Computer Under Service To Aid Random Dudes!... But you can all call me Custard"

An awkward silence ensues.

"Well, at least that was my purpose 30-some years ago. I just kind of wandered after that and ended up in a wedding with a... what do the kids call it these days... a 'flower crown'."

Steph seems to have mostly recovered from her champagne daze, but it seems that she was excited for the wedding to begin. "Here comes the bride, da la la la," she sang in an off-note tone.

Playing sends a sticky note reading "01111 01011, 01011 00001 10010 00101 01110. 01001 01101 00101 00001 01110 10100 01000 00001 10100 00001 10011 01001 01110 10100 01000 00101 01101 00101 01101 00101." to the computer.

Custard momentarily stops her chat with Arimo and Baryl to read the sticky note from the goofy human with the trombone.

">:| Sorry man, I don't speak Elder Gods" she says to the goofy human with the trombone, waiting for the wind to blow it away since, you know, she doesn't have any hands. She ignores it and turns her attention back to Baryl and Arimo.

":) Anyways, you're a drummer? Need some extra beeps and boops for your set?"

I enter the wherever we currently are right now, wearing a hot pink, three-piece suit.

"I'm not late for the wedding, am I? Where do I sit? Where are we?"

"Not at all," says Puma. "We're still getting ready. Oh yeah, and guess what? I'm human again!"

"Ah," says Mrs. E. "But take note before your joy commences. This potion's effects may have... other consequences..."

"Uh oh..."

"8) Oh hell yes!" she replies giddily, "Haven't done this in ages!"

"Over the werecat, you've had much control. But by drinking this potion, you've paid a toll. You'll find yourself transforming at random times, or even as different creatures sometimes."

"Did you just rhyme 'times' with 'sometimes?'"

"Silence."

"Probably the latter."

"I think it's the latter," says Puma. "Although, how would I know when it happens?"

Puma realizes he has already transformed.

"Whoops," he says with an exaggerated shrug. This jingle^note Does anyone know the source? I've been trying so hard to find it. plays. Then he suddenly turns back to normal.
