I also think the Useful Notes page needs a bit of rewriting so that it comes off as less literature for potential juggalos, of course.

I want to see the rewrite before I decide on accepting a Useful Notes version. Otherwise, I say we go with Larkmarn's other suggestion (from post 9), and redirect to ICP.
But if someone is actually willing to do the work and give us a useful notes page, then I'll support Larkmarn's original suggestion from post 7.

I'd agree with the cutting the trope page and rewritting the Usefulnotes page. But I also think that action should set a standard for when people want to make pages for say,. Bronies, Trekkies or other fandoms (and ONLY if they are widespread enough in fiction to warrant a page in the first page).

@16 Juggalos are legally classified as a criminal gang by the FBI. I know that they aren't all like that, but its' prevalent enough to be an issue that we don't want to be associated with. Until the designation is legally overturned (still up in the air iirc) we need to remove anything that can be construed as pro-gang from the page.

Er, that sort of finger-pointing is a legitimate case of oppression. Saying "they're a gang because the FBI called them a gang" amounts to saying "everyone the FBI accuses is convicted". There's an ongoing (but extremely delayed) lawsuit to dispute their status as "gang membership".
That's why I want the Fan Dumb information on the band page to be made neutral or removed; there's nothing exceptional about some rock group having fans than some country group, even when those fans commit crimes.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what the page is. I don't think it does either. I have this down as "Really just a Useful Note" but there is a Useful Notes page for it (which honestly reads more like literature trying to get people to join the juggalo subculture) and there's a lot wrong with the page aside from that.
The description basically reads more as a defense of Juggalos than anything else. And includes a link in there from someone who doesn't know what "satire" is (the bit with the Non Ironic Clowns). Which kind of is exactly my point. The page's true purpose seems to be complaining about juggalos being an Acceptable Target.
I'm also just not sure that this is actually a trope in our sense. The page essentially amounts to a Referenced by... page for ICP.
I suppose my suggestion is axe it as a trope, fold in the non-complain-y bits into the the Useful Notes page, along with "works featuring juggalos" (and axing the complain-y bits there, too). While we're at it, cut the YMMV page, of course.
