Your Tagline

Pretty straightforward concept here. If you could give your work(s) a tagline, what would you pick?

I personally would go with "Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good."

"What is phenomenon?"

I believe context is unneeded.

Is a second chance enough? would probably work for my Mass Effect Peggy Sue fic.

Her allies will follow her anywhere, even out of their universe ... so will her enemies. I might just put that on my Babylon5 fic.

Some things can't remain buried, no matter how much they want to is already on my Fallout Equestria fic.

Funny that there would be a threat for showing off taglines on the site that helped me come up with a tagline in the first place. Certainly tickles my fancy. In any case, I've heard that the key to making a strong tagline is adding in some sort of action (or a call to action), so I incorporated that as such. Sort of. I've got kind of a two-pronged attack with mine:

Living is not enough

Rise and rebel

Insert the ominous music of your choice.

Occupied Space: Shit just went down.

Demi-Human: Shit's about to go down.

The Lukewarm Equations: Shit won't stop going down.

The Quake Years: Shit just went down. Also, earthquake.

The Lost: Shit would go down if there was more than just shit.

The Hunted: We tried moving underground, but it's shit all the way down.

Zero Acknowledgement: Shit isn't going down and society's crumbling as a result.

I'll post the actual taglines later. I need to give this some serious thought.

Wings to Fly: A perfect society wouldn't require soldiers. Nobody thinks society is perfect, and as it pushes past Mars it's getting less so.

Ironically it's something of a criticism of the work it's fanfiction of.

For the planned finale of my seven-part slayer-esque supernatural series:

Luck runs out.

(Serves as both a Call-Back to lines said to the heroine in earlier books, and as a Shout-Out to Metallica's "All Nightmare Long," a song that helped inspire the storyline.)

At the rate reality is racing to catch up and surpass my story, I suspect that the tagline for my Post-Cyberpunk work will be An Historical Romance

I'd think of more, but since those are my two main ones, I'll stick with those for now.

I have a couple, mostly because I lack the disipline to STAY with any one story.

In the Den of Monsters: When evil rises, proclaiming its nature, heroes of all stripes flock together to fight it. This is not their story. In the continent of Erech, there is no day to save, no rebellion to join, no magic artifact to find, no evil’s bane to wield, and no ancient prophecy to fulfill. All heroes lie dead, broken, or corrupted into monstrosities. The mad Demon King of Varleth reigns supreme, with only conclaves left free from his rule are those he, in his unpredictable and incomprehensible manner, chooses to let be. Any who actively rebel are crushed. The violence erupts periodically, but only between the warlords who have sworn loyalty and service to the Demon King, as he allows, and even encourages, his lieutenants to fight between themselves, in order to have only the strongest and most vicious under his command. There is no hope for success against such complete, yet people still resist, if only softly, gently and for self-centered reasons. Often, they pay dearly for it...this is their story.

EDIT: I realize the latter is a bit long for a tagline.
