Considering the Inverse provocation business, I doubt it's trying to clean up their own mess if it is theirs.
MMORPGs are serious business.I feel like Monster Protection Racket is also kind of an incomplete explanation, given .
What I'm thinking is that the Monster Protection Racket is a welcome side effect of whatever their real plan is. And there may also be an element of cleaning up their own mess in there- I highly doubt Kurumi's goals are aligned with theirs, for instance.
DEM and the Spirits seem to be based on different technologies, of lack of a better word. The spirits seem like magic while the Realizers seem like magitech based on a different system. Other than both using mana, there doesn't seem to be much of a connection.
The closet thing Wescott has stated to a goal is something about "remaking the world". It's not clear how inverting the spirts plays into that. One theory is that they are trying to recreate the spirit dimension in our world. Inversion plays into that bc he claims the Inverse forms are the spirits natural state in the bordering dimension. The fact that inverse Tohka has similar personality to the original supports this. .
Almost nothing is know about the spirit dimension. In fact, most of the spirits never actually went there(Miku never did go for instance). Best guess I've seen is that it is actually a mecha world and the DEM tech (and Bandersnatch) are based on that. Mainly based on one of Tohka's Cloudcuckoolander comments that oddly got left in the anime in Episode 3.
Anyway, it doesn't seem like a Monster Protecton Racket or anything like that. It seems like they are actually trying to capture the spirits but have trouble doing so.

I wonder if Kannazuki's wiring suit when he was in the AST looked the same as the ones the girls wear?
MMORPGs are serious business.^I've been wondering about that. Fanservice and harem-logic aside, there really is no reason why aren't any male AST soldiers or Wizards, let alone Spirits. Although the AST do have male non-combat personnel.
Scratch that. There are male 'Wizards'. When Shido (and Miku) are Storming the Castle there are fully armored 'Wizards' with male voices. They generally wear visors/helmets that cover their entire head so at first glance I thought they were simply Bandersnatch.
So maybe Kannazuki had similar gear. Unless that is strictly DEM gear and not standard male AST gear.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.Yup. There are a few male wizards. There was even a male Adeptus(#6 or somthing like that) in Jessica's squad, but he got cut(he wasn't important). They exist, but are rare.
DEM is the supplier for the AST gear, the ranked ones get betters stuff, but the mook wizards are basically the same for both.
Found this while surfing the net. Visions of Bully La Bully...
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainFinally managed to watch the anime of this some time ago. It's... hit-and-miss. Sometimes it has cool action scenes, sometimes it has annoying fanservice. Sometimes it has nice character scenes, sometimes it has your typical stupid harem anime tropes.note
By no means excellent or horrible, but I don't know if the good outweighs the bad or not yet.

I think that's about right. It's got a decent mix of funny and cool stuff, So Bad, It's Good, So Okay, It's Average, and stupid shit that needs to go.
Check out my fanfiction!I think So Bad, It's Good is putting it a bit generously.
4Kids is at it again. Those cunts changed all the names again, didn't they? And their retarded censorship sucks ass as usual.
FU Nimation's dub is far superior. At least everything is the same as the sub in terms of names and censorship.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.Uhhh... what?

You actually fell for that?
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainI got curious about the link. And I've never watched Kill la Kill. And I didn't know 4Kids already butchered it.
I've never actually seen the 4Kids dub. But just from what I've read on the wiki you linked, I can guess that the FU Nimation dub (which I have watched) is far superior.
Though I may be biased against 4Kids.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade....dude, 4Kids has been out of the business for years.
4Kids did nothing of the sort. It's just fans doing a "What if 4kids dubbed X anime" joke.

I can't feel any Origami vibes off Inverse!Origami at all...but Tsunako does an amazing job at making pretty faces. Feels positively ethereal.
MMORPGs are serious business. The inverse spirits seem to basically remove their memories, but keep the same basically personality. Like inverse Tohka reverts to her distrustful, melancholic personality of episodes 1 and 2. Origami Used to Be a Sweet Kid so it's actually not that surprising.
Encore OVA. In which Tick-Tock takes her time.
The worst? Come on, she's the best. Everyone who watches this anime agrees with that. note
It almost looks like he's in a time-frozen world.
He falls into her pace way too easily. And she's having way too much fun with it.
A planetarium. Things always go so well in those.
More talk about time. I wonder why that seems to be her favourite topic.
She's so honest about her feelings. Even Tohka can pick up on that.
"Let me try asking." Count on her to get her will through.
That's a precise description...
How can he find theirs so easily? And he doesn't even seem particularly surprised about it.
Well, that makes sense. Especially considering it's that particular Tick-Tock.
It's not like something like that is dangerous with Tohka around.
She's sure a good poster girl for split personality. But even if they are her past self, they're still her.
Check out my fanfiction!Volume 11 is also fully translated, the Blu-Rays for season 2 are also all released (doubt they are subbed though, I'm watching the raws.)
It never stops to amaze me how dumb as fuck the novels can be, and I mean that in a good way. Nothing else manages to make me laugh so hard with only words (the illustratons usually don't have much humor in them though.)
MMORPGs are serious business. Can't believe I'm necro-ing this...
I got a feeling we'll be diving into Kurumi's backstory in the LN (and find out her exact relationship with Shido). Otherwise, why would they use the words "Date A Time"?
EDIT: Turns out that it's a light novel Spin-Off with Kurumi as the protagonist. (Sauce.) Eh, close enough.
Nice to see Kurumi join the ranks of fellow ensemble darkhorses Ruri 'Kuroneko' Gokou and Charlotte Dunois in getting their own spinoffs.

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."One year later, and a new season of Date A Live is in the works...
If this includes the arc where Origami is turned into a Spirit, then I'm definitely in. Fingers crossed that the animated adaptation does justice to the light novel...with some Adaptation Expansion when needed.
Whew, a barrage of news about some of my favorite anime one after another... What a fun day!
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."Nice. Looking forward to seeing all the characters again. Well except for worst girl Origami.

More clocks, less paper folding, please.

Monster Protection Racket, or trying to clean up their own mess?
I kinda like Tohka's astral dress the most of those I'd like to see on Shido. Tick-Tock's would be hilarious, though.
