Ok, here's some things we could talk about:
1) An international remake of Klonoa Heroes for Nintendo 3DS and/or Nintendo Switch, yay or nay?
2) Who do you guys picture voicing Klonoa in either the movie or any future game that come out in America? I personally have it boiled down to:
- Zach Callison — the emponymous Steven from Steven Universe.
- Jeremy Shada — Finn from Adventure Time and Lance from Voltron: Legendary Defender.
- Antony Del Rio — Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising.
It'll never happen, it's Alternate Continuity, while the movie will presumably not be.
And, to be frank, the market for it is even smaller than most of the other titles in the series.
As for voice acting, I really get the sense that they'll just stick with the fictional language stuff in order to save money.
Why pay two+ sets of actors when you can get away with just one?

Um, I'm sorry, but you lost me. How does the movie's coming make an international remake of Klonoa Heroes impossible?
Also, the whole "voice acting" thing was more of a topic starter, like something others could discuss? I wasn't expecting a definite answer...
EDIT:
Also also: the market for it is even smaller than most of the other titles in the series.
How is that even possible? Isn't it kinda like one of the top-down Zelda games but with RPG elements like leveling up and statistics?

Through the magic of Google Translate (mostly):
...I guess that means they've started production since last month?
I have zero idea what Kitsu is all about, but finally! We know where we can find updates!
Bump.
Got a reconfirmation from Rob 5-6 days ago saying the movie won't be a rehash of what came before.
...How long does it take for a traditionally-animated/anime movie to get some updates?
(Real talk, you're suggesting we wait a year at the latest for some concrete updates?)
In all seriousness, it'll probably be a few months before we see much of anything.
Animation takes a lot of time, especially on what I'm assuming is a shoestring budget.
What if............ Klonoa will be restoring the weather balance in a weather-based dream world?
That would explain the (rain?)coat!

I'm pretty sure they've confirmed that it's an alternate story taking place in Phantomile, though I'd need to check the source on that. It would make sense, though, because the games have insinuated that Klonoa does in fact have a home in some other version of Phantomile.
I need to update these things more oftenOkay, it's not exactly much, but this is just a friendly reminder that no, the movie is not dead.
(On the subject of video game adaptations, has anyone seen the teaser for the Castlevania Netflix series? I wonder if that's inspiring the Klonoa crew to come up with the best Klonoa story they can possibly make. I'd tweet them about it, but we don't even know how Castlevania will turn out.)
Friendly reminders are best reminders.
Inspired by ExoParadigmGamer's Remake or Rebreak, I decided to buy Klonoa on Wii. It'll be my first Klonoa game (unless you count Namco High). I look forward to sharing my thoughts and opinions on it.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I have now played through the first two Visions.
The game is... a little too easy (and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually find low difficulty to be an impediment to enjoyment), but it's charming as all get-out and I don't regret buying it. Even this early in the game, they're really hammering home the point that interacting with the enemies in the correct ways is crucial to progress and/or treasure-hunting.
The only thing I don't like is... Yeah, ExoParadigm was right, Klonoa himself sounds way too adult. I know a lot of people find little kid voices to be annoying, but I'm not one of them, so hearing Klonoa talk in the voice of a cool teen smacks of American Kirby Is Hardcore to me. By no means a deal-breaker, though.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?You are very kind to the changes.
Some people are less so. I am one of those people.
It probably helps that I didn't have a PlayStation and never played the original.
While I'm sure the original had charms that the remake is unable to replicate, I definitely think I'm playing a good game in its own right.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I'd recommend switching to the Phantomile language
Finished the Temple of the Sun. For such a Smug Snake, Joka Joker Joka sure went down easy. I'm on Vision 6-1 now.
I'll probably play the New Game Plus in the Phantomile language. I actually kinda like the English voices except for Klonoa's. Joka Joker Joka sounds like a vintage anime villain, Karal reminds me of Nia from Gurren Lagann, and Hewpoe just sounds adorable.
By the way, Namco High was the first (and up until a few days ago, only) Klonoa-related media I ever consumed. How do you guys feel about that? I've heard that some fans really hated its depressed, cynical Lolo.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Most fans of anything, provided they have any taste, dislike any spinoff that has nothing to do with the original thing.
I enjoy seeing cameos and references to my favorite things just about anywhere, provided they're not a Take That!. I guess I don't have any taste!
Also, I'll probably finish my first run of Klonoa tonight. Thoughts to come later.

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Another friendly update:
The script is looking very Klonoa-y and fresh!
Also, back in July 11th, Rob Pereyda praised the crew of Castlevania on a job well done via Twitter, so I replied that I hope Klonoa will turn out as good as Castlevania. Not only did Henshin give my tweet a Like, they even gave me their thanks! —>

I guess they lied when they said to check for updates elsewhere.
I would subscribe to that guy if my subscription list wasn't about to burst from the over-abundance of people.
