- Gender: Female
- Species: Homunculus
- Sexuality: Lesbian when not "in character", can be bi if "playing" someone who's bi or straight.
- Appearance: A tall, slightly androgynous girl with short blonde hair and purple eyes. (Think of a female Tamaki ad you're pretty much there; she played the role once, to very positive reception and a bit of scolding when it came out that she was hosting for female audience members between rehearsals to help her get into character. She wasn't quite sure what she did wrong, but came to the conclusion that the prop department was very posessive of their tea sets before finally having it explained.)
- Personality: Generally friendly and cheerful but slightly clueless and unsure of her own identity, Blondie often tries to help herself form an impression of the world more quickly by seeing it through the eyes of characters she plays onstage or cosplays as. This sometimes, as trying to look through the eyes of two characters with differing viewpoints in a short period of time in an attempt to stay balanced often simply leaves her confused.
- Skills: Super energetic, a skilled mimic and actress, talented with makeup and costumes, good singer.
- Biography: A homunculus created by magic, mostly from sunflowers, but with a few lychee fruits and roses thrown in, Blondie was the result of a Takarazuka production that may have gone a little too far in a search for a sensational new actress. Despite her popularity, Blondie was allowed to leave the troupe in order to live her own life, though she never really abandoned her roots.

@Scrounge: I'm still a bit suspicious of that backstory, but it's not really a problem, so - accepted! You can have her introduce herself as if she was already in class if you want to at this time. Also note that the Theater and Drama club are the same club - as shown in the accepted characters list.

This looks fairly interesting. Mind if I join?
Name: Yagyu Sakuya
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Half Oni
Sexuality: Never bothered with romance.
Appearance: A bit shorter than average, but only by a few centimeters. She has black hair that is tied into a ponytail that reaches the small of her back, as well as red eyes. Her default expression has her looking rather angry/intense. Could not give less of a shit about fashion, and if not wearing a uniform or training, will just wear whatever she happens to pull out of the drawers that day. If she's training or attending something where she has to look professional/official/extra serious, she'll wear a traditional Samurai outfit. Always has a shinai with her.
Personality: Sakuya is generally a serious person. She spent her life training almost entirely on her families sword style (Oni God Style) and only studies enough so that she can pass. As a result of this lifestyle, her social life is not so much "dead" as it is "unborn", and she is rather awkward when talking to strangers (read: anyone who isn't family). As a result of her lifestyle, she has difficulty understanding concepts such as modesty. Bully Hunter.
Skills: Extremely talented in her families sword style. She has above average physical skills as a combination of her Oni heritage and her constant training. She has trouble when it comes to classes, however, and at present is only just scraping by (except in P.E.). Has absolutely no social skills, and a real talent for having innuendo fly straight over her head.
Biography: Sakuya was raised by a very protective father, who runs a Dojo. When she was about five, her father realized that he couldn't always be there to protect, and so resolved to teach her how to protect herself. He did this by teaching her the family sword style and making sure she always had a shinai or a wooden sword with her. This has had the effect of ensuring her social life never extended beyond the family. Her current goal in life is to inherit the family Dojo from her father.

Do you mind if I have her bring it the first day she arrives? By this point in her life, she's been around them (and been around her father, who's a bit...intense) for so long that she doesn't really see them as weapons anymore. She doesn't really understand that they're not acceptable accessories. Besides, she's rather bad at this whole "school" thing.
Also, I was going to have it so that she missed the bus and ran to school. Is that okay?

That would depend on the answer to the first part of my last post being "no", and she would probably be having a freakout over not having some facsimile (preferably made out of wood) of a sword. You know, sweat and paling and self-sustaining/slippery slope nightmare daydreams, that sort of thing. I was going to have it that she missed her morning bus and ran all day to get to school, which is why she's so late. I just thought it would be a way to show her Raised by Wolves status.
And she's not really a quiet person. It's just that her expression is usually so glare-like and she always brings a shinai with her. Everyone from her previous schools were either too intimidated to be her friend or took her appearance as an outright challenge. Her entire school experience has been "learn—>eat lunch—>learn—>go home". She never really considered that there might be other things to do there. There's a lot of things she never really considered actually.

@Aken Jizo: First, usually Japanese students take public transit, which runs all the time during the day, so an hour or two late would be reasonable, but there should be a different answer if she somehow managed to miss the whole day, as the first day is already over. (Unless she somehow ran the whole way and didn't take any later buses, which while immensely silly, is certainly possible. 
)
The original plan was to have new characters joining after the start of the RP simply have been there the whole time, but just not interacted with the previous/current characters. They can also be in a different class if this would be more believable to you. The other option is of course for them to be transfer students who start that day. (This might be the next day now, unless the transfer went in at the last minute.)
As for bringing the Shinai, if she was somehow late enough to arrive after school is over, I could have the Secretary talk to her about the policy. If it looks like and was registered as club equipment (like for the Kendo club or something) then she might be able to bring it around after school, but otherwise I don't think they'd let her bring it into class.

I was, in fact, going to have her miss the bus and have her think it was THE bus, so she panicked and just decided to haul ass. I never considered that the faculty would allow her to carry her Shinai around for no reason to be a possibility, since they seem like normal people so far. As for the Secretary thing, could you? That would be wonderful.

Certainly, sounds good - just write her arriving at School. Akasuki will be waiting for her outside the door with a disapproving look on her face.
Also, we should move any additional discussion to the discussion thread.
Here are some new Mahjong club semi-NPCs (as in I will probably have them interact with other characters outside the club at least occasionally.)
- Name: Suzuki Hatsumi
- Age: 18
- Gender: Female
- Species: Human (Probably)
- Sexuality: Claims to be 'above such silly things as love', but leans lesbian (at least secretly)
- Appearance: Mostly average looking, she has shorter blue hair with green eyes, and usually wears her school uniform just about everywhere. Normally wears contacts, but occasionally glasses instead.
- Personality: Somewhat serious, and generally down-to-business, runs the Mahjong club efficiently and doesn't cut the members too much slack. Often has a hard time loosening up or relaxing.
- Skills: Highly skilled at Mahjong, and generally good at most academic subjects. Any supernatural abilities are either nonexistent or unknown at this time.
- Biography: After joining Mitoshin academy's Mahjong club, she quickly rose to the top, and is now the club president this year. However, with the graduating members last year, she needs at least a couple more members to have the club able to enter tournaments, and is hopeful about this year's newcomers.
- Role: Club Leader, Tsukkomi
- Club: Mahjong Club President
- Year: 3 (Class 3-5)
- Name: Hidaka Kazue
- Age: 18
- Gender: Female
- Species: Werewolf (Her particular species normally looks human, but can transform between half-wolf and full-wolf form at will. However, she still gets some wild urges during a full moon. (This RP is PG-13, though. )
- Sexuality: Bisexual
- Appearance: Tall for her age, has dark red eyes, and dark grey hair in a ponytail, held up by a claw-shaped hair clip. She has an air of seriousness to her, but is still distinguishably feminine in appearance. Tends to dress in older-looking shirts and slacks, and has noticeable, but not excessive muscles.
- Personality: Is somewhat gruff, but kind at heart, although rarely misses an opportunity to hassle those too full of themselves, and has a questionable relationship with following rules. Is skilled at martial arts and physical sports, but has a hard time with mental tasks and other subjects at school.
- Skills: Besides her transformative abilities, she is highly physically competent, especially at running and Karate, but is generally pretty poor at mental or other subjects, mostly because she doesn't really care. Is a competent fighter, and also happens to be quite skilled at Mahjong, due to practicing at the many gambling parlors her (extended) family run. (All unofficially, of course.)
- Biography: Raised from a family of werewolves, and proud of her ancestry. Her parents have been trying to get her to study harder, and sent her to Mitoshin in an attempt to smooth her out a bit. So far, the plan has been marginally successful at best, but only time will tell if she can be tamed.
- Role: Wild and Untamed, Deliquent, Ore-onna, Boke
- Club: Mahjong Club VP
- Year: 3 (Class 3-5)
- Name: Ito Nanami
- Age: 16
- Gender: Female
- Species: Cat-Girl (猫娘 - genetically engineered hybrid-type)
- Sexuality: Definitely Lesbian
- Appearance: Semi-standard Cat Girl (ears, tail, and claw-like nails), has long, straight blond hair and is partially tanned. Otherwise normally human in appearance, and generally wears casual attire.
- Personality: Never missing a chance to pounce out of nowhere or sunbathe on the roof, Nanami is a boundless source of energy, at least when she's not napping. Is also always on the prowl for new cuddling opportunities, and while this has a definite trend of generating awkward situations, she rarely (if ever) goes any further.
- Skills: Reasonably skilled at Mahjong and a variety of physical sports, her biggest enemy is her total lack of concentration, as when she puts her mind to a task she is surprisingly competent, but is still amazingly easily distracted.
- Biography: Originally from a family of cat-people, she studied hard and made it into Mitoshin, but now that she has been accepted, she is starting to slack off again. Rumored to have worked both as a 'manekinekomusme' for local restaurants, and as a maid-cat (or maybe cat-maid?) passing out fliers.
- Role: Fiesty, The Rival (to Sadako, at least), Ethical Slut (remember - PG-13! )
- Club: Mahjong Club
- Year: 1 (Class 1-6)

All right, as acting GM, I'm officially posting up the replacement for Kanako.
Name: Minahoshi Mio
• Age: 16
• Gender: Female
• Species: Fictional charac.. er.. human. Yes, human.
• Sexuality: This being a Yuri RP, definitely lesbian.
• Appearance: Looks can be deceptive

• Personality: Being active in some way is a preference for Mio, and she gets fairly restless if she feels bored. She acts as though she cares very little what everyone else thinks of her, though she's very aware of her reputation as an athlete. Acts standoffish to gauge whether or not someone is likely to be persistent enough to be worth her time; the exception being when sports or a girl she has a crush on are involved. Very strong willed but surprisingly girly and despite her athletic prowess terrified of crickets.
• Skills: Seems to excel at whatever sport she plays, even if she insists she's never played it before. Has experience in several martial arts - including kyudo and kendo - as well, though she's loathe to use these after accidentally huritng the student council president in middle school. Fairly well read young lady as well, though this rarely comes up with her teammates. Perhaps has the best fashion sense of any tomboy known to mankind as well.
• Biography: Raised by a single father and an only child, Mio has always tried hard to be boyish so she can fit in with her dad. This meant playing all kinds of sports and training in martial arts alongside him; there was also something weird about doing those activities. She actually thrilled in the competition, but began to realize how freakishly talented she was and that few could even keep up with her. Her constant joining and transferring between clubs at school annoyed classmates, but it was done in the name of finding her equal. Up to this point, no dice there.
She was once in a relationship with a pretty girl who's since transferred to a different school, blind to the fact that the other girl was just using her to shore up her own status. They'd been together since middle school, after Mio dumped the student council president for the new girl. In the end Mio got dumped too, and since then she's been sulking and losing herself in athletic competition. But she does hope that maybe she can find some girl who's persisitent enough to keep up with her. After all, stranger things have happened, and sometimes it snows in April.

I'd be interested in joining though I have little experience with Forum Rpg's (though I've played quite a lot Pn Ps...) so please be gentle...
Anyway I've created a character here so please tell me what you think
* Half Indian/half japanese, a tall woman with striking features, she has long black hair that is usualy done in a Ponytail, dark skin as well as golden snake eyes and soft sandy-grey scales over her arms, legs and on various other places all over her body. She wears glasses that help her see static objects.
* In her Naga form she turns into a pureblood Naga. Her entire lower body transforms into a 2 meter long Tail and she gains two additional arms below her current ones, her scales now cover her entire body.
How she reacts to others depends a lot on the temperature, if it's cold she tends to be lethargic and distant, if it's hot she will be aggresiv and snippy. Always however she tends to be standoffish and just a little arrogant. However anyone managing to gain her friendship would find her to be extremely protective and even downright motherly.
She likes to read (though without her glasses she has trouble seeing the words) and loves the forest (especially in her Naga form) as well as sunbathing. She also loves good food especially meat. She hates badly cooked food, the cold, loud noise and people who act like idiots. She also isn't very good with computers, since the monitors tend to give her a headache.
Physically she is fit and posesses reflexes a little superior to normal humans though nothing too impressive. She is capable of taking a fully Naga form as well as a half-human form (she prefers the later in the city as she dislikes the feel of cement and most human buildings weren't constructed with tails in mind) she can also take the form of a number of snakes and shapeshift into various human-forms, but these are spells rather then a born talent and thus usualy have a duration unlike her two standard forms between which she can switch pretty much at will.
Unfortunatly she was kidnapped by her fathers family a clan of powerfull Wizards when she was 7 years old. A long and drawnout legal battle ensued. Due to the Clans political and financial power they managed to stall it for 2 years by arguing that Hiroshi (her father) was a pervert, a irresponsible bum and incapable of taking care of Aiko while her mother Chaaya was a foreigner, a magical beast who prior to arriving in japan had lived in the remote areas of India rarely interacting with humans. Only after her father found a Job at a detective agency and managed to gain a stable income did he succeed in convincing the court to hand custody back to him, though it might be that his family simply had learned all they wanted to learn from Aiko... As they had only ever been interested in Aiko's unique properties as a neverbefore seen hybrid.
The time with her fathers family traumatised her somewhat. She became convinced that she had to earn her love and her right to stay with her parents, as she somehow just didn't get that they loved her unconditionally. She started withdrawing from others and began studying above all else. This combined with the already bad stigma of being part snake lead to her isolating herself.
