Perhaps we could call it "Villain's Dying Grace." Or "Heel Face Save". "I'm Saving You From Me", maybe? "Saving The Hero Equals Death"? Just throwing out some suggestions.

Villain's Dying Grace is good. The only possible issue is that it might get mistaken for something like Alas, Poor Villain.
By the way, why is Alas, Poor Villain an audience reaction trope anyway? Whether or not it works is irrelevant to the trope of 'the author makes a play for sympathy as the villain dies.'

This was requested at least once before, but apparently nothing worked out. The problem is that "My Revenge Is Mercy" does not give the image of what the trope is about. As noted in the discussion page of that trope, "My Revenge Is Mercy" sounds like either Cruel Mercy or If I Kill You, I Will Be Just Like You, rather than the mix of Graceful Loser and Death Equals Redemption which is what the trope is really about
