More elaborate/longer hair upgrade should probably be mentioned in the Frilly Power Up trope.
Anyone want to sandbox our Frills of Justice/ Magical Girl Outfit trope/index? We've already got tons of tropes to put on it.

SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Oh yes one egregious example is with each Frill Upgrade the lead of Fresh Precure's hair gets longer, she has 4 forms.... (that has an image picking thread too hmm.) (She is the one I posted in the second post of the thread [1]◊ [2]◊)
So what do we need to YKTTW anyone want to make a list?

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Power Makes Your Hair Grow is all ready a trope. It just needs a mention.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHere are some potentials.
- Everythings Better With Frills (or something, basically frillier and more elaborate costume equals better/more powerful)
- Go Go Boots (Boots that are Zettai Ryouki height)
- Chest Bow (a bow on the chest, often with a Sailor Fuku)
- Pretty Chocker Necklace
- Chest Broach (sometimes doubles as a Power Crystal)
- Princess Tiara(we don't seem to have one, actually, just Nice Hat, I didn't even see one for crowns, Requisite Royal Regalia was closest.)
- Flowy Ribbons (I don't see something for this, either)
I don't know if all of them need their own tropes or note. Some of them might be able to be combines or something.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Fassionable Asymetry I don't think is actually that common here. In any case, I'm gonna use this space to link to example images for comparison.
Older Nanoha and Fate, with Hayate and the Wolkenkritters
You'll have to browse the Precure sub-series yourself
Wedding Peach has the only long dresses I've seen, but there are commonalities like the big front bow.
Cardcaptor Sakura is unique in that she has dozens of different costumes made by her friend Tomoyo, her Secret-Keeper.
It's a Choker not a Chocker. Chocker means fed up.
Crowns in general do seem to be shoved into Nice Hat. We should split them out. The crown tropes should probably be Tiara (for the princess type), Circlet (the plain round metal variety), Crown (for the traditional royal crown), and then maybe one for crowns made of leaves and flowers.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAhh so gogoboots are different from the Fuck Me Boots which are C rank Zettai Ryouiki height. They are quite popular with magical girls.
These.
EDIT: I should probably go though the precure character pages and add pics for the 21 girls.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I have seen the word Go Go Boots used for all lengths higher than the knee. We should probably name it something like Leg High Boots or something to avoid the profanity and be more descriptive.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Those are called either Go Go Boots or Fuck Me Boots. They can be from just under the knee to almost the crotch.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAll those pictures from different series were really helpful. It seems like Giant Poofy Sleeves definitely needs to be on this page.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)I mentioned that one.
We might want to put Cool Crown or something as a trope and then just list the three types (or four maybe) on it: tiaras, circlets, and crowns (the just metal ones◊ and the ones with the poofy fabric parts.)
Tiaras are usually dainty and feminine and associated with princesses (and fairies for some reason). Circlets are modest and more for wise characters, elves like them. Crowns are for kings and queens, the poof ones beings "better" then the just metal ones.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Circlets are also for more practical characters. They're plain and utilitarian and as such tend to be worn by Royals Who Actually Do Something.
I do think that the leaves and flowers version should be mentioned either as part of the crown trope or as it's own trope. It tends to get used for elves, and Nature Hero types, but it's not always royalty.
I don't think the poof ones are better. They're just a different period than the metal ones. The metal ones tend to be more middle ages. The poof ones are more Renaissance on.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOk Pretty Cure character pages all have pics now of the Magical Girl (at least those that arnt a massive spoiler.)
Hair Bands and such are extremely common, is that just under All Girls Are Cuter With Hair Decs?
EDIT: Add Bare Your Midriff to the list too it is becoming increasingly popular in the outfits.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Are we agreed then, that this should remain a Magical Girl trope and not a more general costume trope? Not all of the misuse is on magical girl pages. Spot checking them though, I haven't found a particular pattern yet.
Oh yeah we should drop a thing about relics of the Cute Witch Magical Girl era such as the Mage hat and cloak [1]
(this pic is from Yuru Yuri as a parody of Magical Girl (maybe a parody is too strong of a word Show With In A Show is better) and is just as preachy as Nanoha just has the hat.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Magical girls are the only thing I can see fitting. The Of Justice bit fits superheroines too, but they really don't tend to be frilly at all.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI think I have a skeleton of a description in mind. Would people prefer this to be worked in a Sandbox page or on YKTTW?
I think sandbox might be a better place to start since we do have so much framework to start with.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMade a sandbox here Sandbox.Frills Of Justice, have at it you guys. I think for now we are probably going to keep the name, yes?
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)It's a good name. The definition is just a bit narrow. Hence the sandboxing. Might want to add Modesty Shorts under Other Tropes.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHow do we want to work examples? Go into list tropes mode for each Magical Girl? Make it just an index?
Add Curtains Match the Window and Elemental Eye Colors to eyes.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I don't know. Index might be good here.
SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Sandbox.Frills Of Justice is live. Feel free to fill in anything previously discussed that I missed. No examples yet. We should also use the Image Pickin thread and possibly draft someone to make a collage for the page image.

Well we can take that to ykttw.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
