Halfway down the Apocalypse How page, there's a mini-index with a fraction of the tropes found on Apocalyptic Index, followed by a 'see also' section with a few more apparently random apocalypse tropes. I could easily delete that part of the article and replace it with a simple 'For more apocalypse-related tropes, consult the Apocalyptic Index', but as I'd remove quite a lot of text, I'd like to get some consent before doing it.

I think we normally put a "directly related tropes" paragraph at the end of every description.

Yes, but since practically the entire Apocalyptic Index is directly related to this trope, it seems easier to just link to that. Why does, for example, Colony Drop have more to do with this trope than, for another example, The World Is Always Doomed?

Colony Drop is a way of invoking a specific Apocalypse How (I forget what number), but The World Is Always Doomed is a trope talking about how the Apocalypse is always just around the corner (I think). If you think it's too long, I'd suggest shortening it, or better yet, distributing them out to the various scale parts.

Eh, that was one example. How is Apocalypse Wow more relevant than Last Fertile Region, how is Horde of Alien Locusts more relevant than The Plague? It seems to me that a full list of related tropes would more or less be the Apocalyptic Index, and a smaller selection would be quite subjective. I just think referring to the index instead would be the smoothest solution.

It's not just referencing them, it's supposed to include a "how this trope is related" bit.

If they're related to specific subtypes, they should be listed next to those subtypes.

Index's have a flaw over the "related tropes" paragraph, mainly that they don't explain how the tropes are related. That's basically what that paragraph is for, in particular the sub and super tropes.

Valid point. I still don't think it's a valid excuse for including an abridged version of a separate index, though.
