Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
"Mathematical beauty"? Mmmm.
I still find it a widdle confusing...
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live! The introduction we got was over an infinite sum definition of the exponential function, then a proof of why |e^ix|=1, another limit calculation of arc lengths, then an analytic definition of sine and cosine, and then an analytic definition of pi via the cosine function's zeroes. There's a lot to go through if you want to understand proofs of it - I suppose that could be something for you if you're into calculus. I know you aren't, though, so I'm not gonna bother you with that.

RE: [1]
Don't worry. I'm pretty sure that Wulfenbach will be able to come back for Christmas time. I made sure that there are clanks not too far from Timoskloster in case something bad happens to him.
Actually, I don't think I met you before. I am Prince Tarvek Sturmvoraus, currently Wulfenbach's advisor. What are your names? You seem like nice people!

Please visit the "AITA" forum gameChristmas is coming by so quickly this year, I wonder if it will snow during that time.
Hope everyone's ready! Winter season begins tomorrow.
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!Where I live, it's neither autumn nor spring, neither winter nor summer. I have no idea how that is even possible in any form, but I gave up trying to figure it out a long time ago.
"What ails you, my friend? Stay a while, and listen~"There are seasons in most regions on my world, but the region with the most prominent of them seems to be Unova. In places with warmer climates (Hoenn, Paldea, Alola), there's more of a rainy season and dry season.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - IrisI can tolerate rain or cold weather but I can't stand them together.
Especially when it's too windy, no one likes having the wind turning their umbrellas upsidedown.
Heavy wind can problematic for someone who flies like me, I imagine Pokemon who are similar feel the same. aroo.
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!Thankfully, weather is limited to the human world. - Monster Under The Bed!Shadow
SKREEEEEEEONK!
Weather is pretty consistent across winter, spring, summer, and fall over here in Europa. Nothing too weird in that regard.
Well, unless someone decides to make a weather-altering device, but those usually only affect a region.
Usually.
OOC: Psst! GamerLuna2022 ! I asked you('r characters) a question back here & I didn't get an answer!
Please visit the "AITA" forum gameOoh, get this! I'm sure most haven't heard of them but the Magical Twin Comets (fwom Sanrio cartoons) one of them got a name change! The one on the weft is now know as Lili while the other stayed as Lulu! [1] I wondah why she changed it?
According to some of comments on Twitter, Lili's previous name sounds like a certain term for the mammary gland we'd have if we were human~*

Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!OOC: Whoops! Sorry about that, m-95. Take it away, girls:
The name's Arle! Nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you, young ladies, and— Oh! Look who just arrived here!
My train just arrived back in Paris. I knew I'd be back for Christmas!
Timoskloster is mostly fixed up and under better guard. Apparently the reason for the gas attack there of all places was that some resistance partisans were taking sanctuary there. The partisans are moved elsewhere.
Oh, and sorry I didn't get to introduce myself to you four. The name's Gilgamesh Wulfenbach — please just call me "Gil".
We usually ramp up the defences around the holiday season, so don't worry about me missing Christmas.
Speaking of, what are you four doing for Christmas?
Please visit the "AITA" forum game
We will be playing some Puyo Puyo!
I'm gonna beat ya, Arle!
I think that I will be the one to win.

"I wonder what beautiful songs I can sing today?"
What's this Puyo puyo nonsense ?? Did you mean "Mean Beans" ?
Oh my goodness! The great Dr Robotnik!
And the one from a great toon series, babe! What a pleasure to see you here!
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!
Yes, it's me, in all his glorious glory. I heard that those ladies are from a ripoff of my own puzzle game. If that's the case, I won't tolerate this and will retaliate !
Oh, wow, yet another madboy!
Well, he's certainly mad, I'll give you that.
Dr. Robotnik, did you ever defeat that little blue hedgehog?
Please visit the "AITA" forum game
Defeat that pesky hedgehog ? Well, the thing is, he's too fast and can be too smart, AND I HATE HIM FOR THAT ! (Althought i'm sure i'll get him one day).
Edited by Coock-atoo on Dec 21st 2022 at 6:58:29 PM
Why don't you obliterate EVERY hedgehog entirely out of existence?
Edited by Cibryll on Dec 21st 2022 at 8:25:01 PM
"What ails you, my friend? Stay a while, and listen~"
Do you really think I'm powerful enough to do that, you scatterbrained lady ?
Honestly? … Yes.
"What ails you, my friend? Stay a while, and listen~"
First, Thanks for the compliment.
Second, I suppose having those Chaos Emeralds my game counterpart want to have so much could help me, but they're mostly absent in my world, so there's that.
Third, it doesn't look like there's many hedgehog on Mobius, Sonic seem to be the only one so far.
Wait, what am I even doing on this thread discussing with a (Valkyrie, that is ?). I just came here to tell people to play Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and not that "Puyo puyo" ripoff those ladies are talking about.
Edited by Coock-atoo on Dec 21st 2022 at 7:51:46 PM
Poyo Poyo?
Number 1 CGI Fireman Sam defender[1] Oh hey, it's Arle Puyo! How's Schezo treatin ya?
[2] Snoo-PINGAS usual I see! I just checked - the first Puyo game got released on October 25 1991, Mean Bean Machine on 26 November 1993 in North America. Which is three years later.
Tbh I only know Puyo because of Puyo Puyo Tetris, which I assume is the case for a lot of people here in the "west". There's a Tetris player called Wumbotize who used to play that game and kept making fun of some article's comment that "the tetris player is at a slight disadvantage". Probably due to how combo mechanics work on the Puyo side, but hey, center 4 wides exist.
And on the note of Tetris, how many people here are familiar with Tetris Effect?
What's up again? I have no puzzles to share today, unfortunately, but I'm still happy, because today, we've finally proven Euler's identity in a lecture! According to the professor, some mathematicians even have tattoos of it. Me, I... kinda see the appeal of it?
[1] Sorry, missed your comment! You missed Flandre causing chaos, Gil and Tarvek making odd contraptions, and a quiz game where whoever made the funniest answer wins. Needless to say, I did not expect Flan's jokes to become as squicky as they did.
Oh yeah, I'm also spending time on the Nomad now! We might catch each other in the hallways when it's close to lecture time, but other than that, I'll probably be in a VR rig listening to lectures remotely while piloting a robot.
Btw idk if Icarus is available right now, but I'll try to relay your question. Chances are the answer is "no", because I don't get access to weapons either.
