- Woolseyism: In episode 2 in the dub, the audio of the movie Kazuto and Narue are watching seems to have an Arnold Schwarzenegger expy as a governor.
- Retroactive Recognition: Mamiko Noto, Daisuke Sakaguchi, Jun Fukuyama, Natsuko Kuwatani and Saeko Chiba were still pretty new to the industry back when this show aired, nowadays they're among some of the biggest stars in Japanese voice acting especially the first three. Junko Minagawa was still a newcomer at the time too, but she averts this as she was already well known for her role as Ryoma Echizen in The Prince of Tennis by this point.
- Yagi was Michele Knotz's debut role, nowadays she's better known as the current dub voice of May, Misty and Jessie in Pokémon: The Series, which is interesting given that the original dub VAs for those aforementioned characters are in the show as well.
