The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill and His Best Friend Corky is an Australian animated television series starring Bottle Top Bill and Corky, a man and a horse made from things you and I might throw away, just like their whole world and Junkyardville, their city.

This show provides examples of:

  • 2D Visuals, 3D Effects: With some Stop Motion thrown in too.
  • Brains and Brawn: "You're very lucky that Bill was so brave." - Mrs. Junkosaur
"And Corky's so clever." - Mr. Junkosaur
  • Bungling Inventor: Cedric the Scientist.
  • Friendly Pirate: Captain Hornswoggle after his reformartion. Most of the time, anyway.
  • Fantastic Diet Requirement: The Junkosaurs only eat garbage.
  • Furry Confusion: Junk confusion in this case. Considering things like the fact that Bill has actually been referred to as 'Bottle Top Bill' in the show's dialogue and that Jo-Jo explicitly stated that he was a 'Junkosaur', not a dinosaur, it's quite hard to tell if the show only uses garbage for animation, or if Bill and his associates are aware that they are made from, well, junk.
  • Identical Grandson: Bill is nearly identical to his great uncle Reg, the only difference being their clothes and the fact that Reg had bushy eyebrows and a beard.
  • Medium Blending: The show's trash-based world is a blend of Stop Motion, 2D and CGI, the former two making the show something of a Clip-Art Animation.
  • Signing-Off Catchphrase: "When you're right, Corky, you're right!"
  • Non-Indicative Name: While Bill and Corky are both made from garbage, the closest thing Bill appears to have to a bottle top is his hat, and Corky's 'cork' almost appears to be nowhere.
    • However, in the opening titles, when she and Bill materialize as trash coming into their shapes, gradually being automatically painted in their appropriate colors, the light brown ball from which Corky's head is made is shown. It may be made from cork, but the appearance of the texture makes it more likely that it was made from wood. This may have been from the prop designers misinterpreting concept art.
  • Sapient Steed: Corky.
