Season 1
Oscar will be called out for his overprotective over Penny
Since he is still being overprotective towards Penny despite their reconciliation in the movie, it is likely he will be called out for still being overprotective towards Penny.- Confirmed, as of the first episode
Al Roker is giving Maya and Myron wishes
Since he is a genie, he is likely giving Maya and Myron their wishes. Dijonay and Lacienga will being taking a level in kindness
Despite the two of them still have the same selfish personalities as they had in the original series, they do have some moments with Penny, such as helping her with her problems.- Dijonay has become a better friend to Penny, especially in the third episode. Lacienga has somehow became worse but there is time for her to become a better person as well.
The Gross Sisters will be taking a level in kindness
Despite the Gross Sisters still bullying Penny and her friends, they did care for each other, had some soft moments, and showed respect for her.- They seem to want to break into the music business (they have talent and possibly connections as well) or they become influencers. Why steal money from teens as bullies when you can get teens who love you to buy your merchandise and/or pictures. Add them getting a therapist to stay sane and you possibly get three sisters who no longer want to bully but instead put out content for their fans (while still making money).
Olei is Lesbian
Despite having dates for a dance in “Enter the Bullies”, she did appear to like Penny, and even hugged her. Since the revival series is having LGBT characters in it, it is possible that Olei might be one of them.- I see it with Michael being either gay or bi and Maya’s dads the show already has great gay male protagonists, seeing them out and happy and with her sisters and possibly Penny as an ally Olei will feel safe to come out as being into girls (she doesn’t have to know her exact label yet). Olei being out might also soften up the other two Gross sisters as well.
- Jossed as of the fourth episode “Father Figures”, where Nubia calls a truce between herself and Maya after trying to extort money from her, partly because she respects Maya for not cowering to her and partly because Olei appears to really like KG. Said truce is almost immediately called off after KG escapes Olei's Bear Hug, leaving her in tears. At best, she could be bi, but it seems really unlikely at this point.
Maya’s reasons for her hostility towards others will be revealed
Maybe, something bad did happen to Maya that made her lose her faith in humanity in general.- Very likely, she was treated as outcast that people didn’t care about anything she had to say, that no one ever listened to her. Or, maybe the last person she trusted did something VERY insensitive and threw her under the bus.
- Confirmed as of the fourth episode She's raw about being mistreated due to both her status as an orphan and bullying she and her brother has faced due to having two fathers
There will be a future character who will join with Lacienega and Maya
Well, since they appeared to be having teamed up together, there is another possibility that a third girl might team up with them later as well.- Most likely Jossed after the fourth episode “Father Figures”. Maya gains a new respect for Penny after she stood up to the Gross Sisters for her, and the two have been on friendly terms since then. LaCienega, while still as big of a backstabbing bitch as before, is also hanging out with the main group again (at least for now).
The reason Mr. Chips looks so different compared to the original show
- Mr. Chips turned purple as a result of Proud Snacks testing.
- The original Mr. Chips died either from natural causes or food poisoning (no guessing from what). Oscar simply adopted a new monkey and named him after the first as if nothing happened.
Ongoing Theories
Possible Ideas for who the Big Bad might be
With new characters appearing in the show, there are some possibilities for who might become the new Big Bad of the revival series. A new Evil Counterpart and/or Arch-Enemy of Penny
- Maya while not evil is a rival of sorts to Penny, she chose to become a friend of Lacienga’s and is mean to Penny for no reason. She also guilted Penny into doing something illegal (though Penny called her out), got Penny canceled (though Penny had to be stopped somehow) and helped Lacienga with trying to steal Penny’s crush (and got away with it) Lacienga was at least called out.
A New Evil Counterpart and/or Arch-Enemy of Lacienega
A new Evil Counterpart and/or Arch-Enemy of Maya
Bobby is also Autistic.
- In season two, Bebe is officially diagnosed with Autism and is place in a special preschool. Seeing that Autism is genetic, it's possible that his uncle Bobby may have it as well. He still lives at home and is dependent on his mother. Aside from singing career and selling ice cream, he's never held a regular job, something many autistics struggle with. His verbal tics and his tendency to sing spontaneously could easily be his way of stimming.

All the characters have been replaced by clones
A few of the G nomes from The Proud Family Movie make a return in the episode "Us Again", where the movie's events are disregarded as one of Penny's dreams...followed by a Dream Within a Dream Cliffhanger ending. If this plot ever comes back, it could reveal something shocking - that these aren't the same characters from the 2000s, but identical clones with their memories! This would explain many of the Retcons. Season 2
The relationship between Suga Mama and Oscar will gradually improve
Part One of "Olde Town Road" reveals that Suga Mama was told to Stay in the Kitchen by his father because girls aren't allowed in the rodeo. Her father also favors Oscar as a natural born cowboy, much to her ire.Perhaps when Part Two comes along, Oscar will find himself in mortal peril during the Towne Family rodeo championship, when Suga Mama proves herself by rescuing him. However, her father will still disapprove of her, at which point Oscar actually stands up for her. This in turn leads to Character Development where the two are on somewhat better terms with each other.
Maya and K.G. will get a Promotion to Opening Titles
Penny's main group of friends (minus Sticky) appear in the Season 1 opening. Since the Leibowitz-Jenkins are new characters, it's natural they get added in to the next season's opening.- Jossed, They didn't appear in the theme song.
Possible future antagonists
Well, since the revival series doesn't have any real villains nor a Big Bad yet, there could be some possibilities for other villains coming in the series.- A New Evil Counterpart and/or Arch-Enemy of Penny Proud that might try to get rid of her and her family.
- The Talking Baby will likely return and continue to antagonize Oscar.
- Both of these are Jossed.
Season 3
Possible ideas for what could happen in Season 3
The fact that season 3 of The Proud Family Louder and Prouder has been announced gets us thinking and guessing about what might happen in the new season.- A Big Bad trying to take over Emilyville.
- An episode focusing on The Gross Sisters.
- An episode focusing on The Chang Triplets.
- Dijonay finally gets comeuppance for constantly backstabbing Penny and gossiping.
- Sticky (with a new voice actor) makes a return to visit his old town and friends.
- A story arc of Oscar trying to get other jobs - With the Proud Snacks factory officially shut down and sold - to unsuccessful results, before eventually having a breakthrough with one of his snack experiments (maybe realizing he was in the Wrong Line of Work the whole time and should have used his "snacks" for say, an alternative fuel source or rat poison).
- Al Roker sends Oscar to an Alternate Universe where he won the match against Wizard Kelly and ended up marrying Ginger Snaps. At first, Oscar is overjoyed to finally have everything the Wiz did. But over time he learns that wealth alone can't buy him happiness and those around him only use him for profit. Upon seeing that the Wiz is actually making success off of "Kelly Snacks", Oscar demands his old life back.
- Emilyville getting a new mayor.
- Wizard Kelly, whose reputation is under fire due to his actions in "Juneteenth", hires Oscar to take his place as mayor. Oscar accepts, unaware that he is being Promoted to Scapegoat so the Wiz could save his own hide.
- Penny fears her parents are going through a divorce due to their constant arguing and other signs, such as one of them looking at a new apartment. So she speaks with Sticky (who has experienced this very thing) online for advice. At the end, it turns out she jumped to conclusions and the apartment was actually for Bobby or someone else in the family.
- Oscar and Suga Mama are sent to therapy after Penny and/or Trudy grows tired of them constantly being at each other's necks. This subsequently leads to an in-depth look as to why exactly they don't get along and ultimately ends with much needed Character Development in which they learn to understand and tolerate each other a bit better.
