Things are not looking good in the city of Murricaville. The police have taken over even the most private of every citizens' thoughts, the only figure that can be blessed is the President, and leaving the city has become illegal. Now your character is the only one that is aware something is wrong. The threat of nuclear war is in the air, and you know you must be prepared.
The main purpose of the game is to build a fallout shelter. The shelter must have farms, food, tools, and other things needed to help keep you alive. Along the way you are joined by other local rebels who also want to defect from the local government. Of course, everything is easier said than done when the very government they are taking shelter from is conspiring to work against them.
The game has an upcoming DLC named Animal Farm, which casts the player into the task of running a farm and protecting the animals from the Police State.

- Achievement System: The game has an achievement system that is built up by meeting other government defectors and completing tasks for them.
- Crazy Survivalist: Your character believes that a nuclear war is incoming that will destroy the city and kill everyone, so the game's central element is to build an underground shelter to survive.
- Eagleland: Takes the "Murica the Boorish" approach because the government has grown into a police state.
- False Utopia: This is what has become to Murricaville thanks to the actions of the President and the Government.
- In-Universe Game Clock: The game moves between day and night with 24 hours taking place over around 5 minutes real time. Some tasks are best performed only during the day, but others only at night.
- No Name Given: Your player character is simply known as "Prepper" by the local community.
- People's Republic of Tyranny: The police state created by the government watches every move of every local citizen and makes sure they regularly "Bless the President" as a way of thanking him for his work to build the community into that state.
- Police State: The government has taken over the entire community and are policing the citizens' every last thought.
- Where the Hell Is Springfield?: Murricaville is a typical American city but it is not directly stated where in America it is.
