Friday Night Funkin': Breaker Deluxe is an unofficial recursive mod of Soulless DX directed by Grimlock495, focusing on the scrapped song "Gamebreaker" and several unofficial fan-made covers.

The main plot follows Pico, under Robotnik's orders, searching for Sonic in Aquatic Ruin Zone, in order to kill him for some easy bucks. He indeed finds what looks like Sonic, but there's something off about this blue blur. And while Pico is indeed armed for murder, he may not be ready for what this hedgehog hides...

You can download the mod here.

Song List

  • Gamebreaker (DX vs. Pico)

Extras

This mod contains the following examples:

  • Adapted Out: Boyfriend and Girlfriend are nowhere to be seen in this mod, not even in the Extras covers.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: By the time DX has fully transformed, he absolutely towers over Pico during the fifth phase of the song.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Played for Laughs, the Cyan Impostor is doomed to be kicked out one way or another, whether you win or lose "Rolebreaker".
  • Glitch Entity: Like in the original mod, DX has this in spades, revealing his truly glitchy nature once Pico believes he accomplished his goal.
  • Have a Nice Death: If Pico loses in "Gamebreaker", his code will be corrupted as DX takes over, seeming to possess his now-empty body.
  • I Do Not Own: In the beginning of the mod's opening cutscene, there is a reminder that the team behind this mod did not create Gamebreaker or DX, also encouraging players of that mod to support Soulless DX's team during that mod's development.
  • Price on Their Head: Pico's motivation for hunting down Sonic is this; Robotnik hired him to kill the blue blur so he'd get paid quickly.
  • Running Gag: The "[X] Breaker" naming convention for just about everything about the mod. This even extends to the download page, with the download link for example being called "Drive Breaker". So it's no surprise that the gag found its way into this work page proper.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Subverted in that Pico indeed does that to DX at the end of the first phase. Sadly, this is when DX reveals his true state, effectively no-selling Pico's attack.
