• Actor Allusion: Tomokazu Sugita voices Gintoki Sakata, who's often accused of having fish eyes. Here, he plays a literal fish, Utsuborg.
• Bad Export for You: The Sunshine dubs are based on the Japanese home video release, which means that any insert songs are removed, as having them remain would mean additional royalties would have to be paid to the parties involved. Somewhat compensating this is the fact that some of the scenes with insert songs are available in YouTube and Nico Nico.
• Late Export for You: The European Spanish dub released in Pluto TV on January 17th, 2022. 10 years after Twinkle aired on Boing.
• What Could Have Been: Pre-airing promotional material for Sunshine often depicts Shouko and Labra together, which suggests that they were supposed to have some significant relationship. They hardly interact in the finished product.
