Jerry tells the girls he has a very treacherous mission for them: they are to transport an extremely dangerous criminal to WOOHP's highest security penitentiary. The Spies are nervous until they meet the villain, an 80-something grandmother with a sweet disposition. The girls are sure there must be a mistake, but Jerry assures them that "The Granny" is the most notorious and ruthless bank robber in the annals of criminal history. He warns the girls to be very cautious. Can the Spies gain the upper hand and bring their geriatric foes to justice?

Tropes:

  • Bank Robbery: The Granny’s preferred crime to commit.
  • Beardness Protection Program: Clover’s disguise for sneaking into the retirement home is that of an old man with a bushy white beard and mustache, something she is not happy with Jerry about.
  • Calling Shotgun: The girls’ first encounter with The Granny is her calling shotgun in their new WOOHP vehicle.
  • Cool Old Lady: Despite her criminal ways, you have to admit The Granny is a total badass.
  • Couldn't Find a Pen: Clover gives a cute volleyball player she meets on the beach her number by writing it across his chest in tanning lotion.
  • Evil Old Folks: The Granny along with her fellow bank robbers, Papa and Bubbie.
  • False Teeth Tomfoolery: Papa uses his dentures as a projectile, spitting them at Sam and Alex so fast they actually get lodged into the wooden door behind them.
  • Improbable Weapon User: The gang of elderly felons who use several unusual weapons, including their own false teeth, a brooch that shoots lasers, and inflating pantyhose.
  • Never Mess with Granny: Her age doesn’t stop The Granny from going back to her bank-robbing ways the second she gets the chance.
  • Nobody Touches the Hair: The last straw that finally gets Clover to start fighting back against The Granny is when she messes up her hair.
Clover: Okay, now you’ve gone too far! Granny or no Granny, no one touches the coif but my hairdresser!
  • Retired Badass: Though not retired willingly, The Granny is revealed to have been an extremely successful bank robber back in the day.
  • Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: In the episode’s Cold Open, The Granny finds her next victim through a front page news article about the reopening of the 3rd Street Bank in Beverly Hills.
  • Too Good to Be True: Sam and Alex are shocked to see that Clover has seemingly met the male version of herself. They seem to be on the right track considering at the end of the episode, he appears to be creating a bomb out of a volleyball.
  • Underestimating Badassery: None of the girls take The Granny seriously due to her age and the fact that she looks like a sweet little grandma. She quickly shows them why she should not be underestimated.
