The 18th episode.
Thanks to a strange orb, supposingly the Great Evil, a Werewolf servant of Dracula, Lycos, sets off to complete a plan of his master's: use a machine to convert everyone into mindless slaves of the dark lord. Van Helsing notices this and two members (Finn and Basil) are sent. A fight starts, culminating in a burning lab, giant pillbugs, and Lycos being pushed off a cliff with his machine. The day is saved, but at the cost of Van Helsing's peace of mind when he sees the large hole in the ground.
However, Lycos may not truly be dead...
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: The 2 giant pillbugs.
- Call-Back: Finn is telling the others of how he tried to make a tower that would go all the way to space. He then wants nobody to talk about it again.
- Disney Villain Death: Lycos and the last pillbug fall down a chasm with the machine in tow. Lycos, however, seems to have survived...
- Dug Too Deep: Basil and Finn dig their way to Lycos, but they cause a cave-in. It's only a hindrance, though.
- Freak Lab Accident: What creates the pillbugs. Basically, a bunch of chemicals fall on them.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Aside from Lucifer's involvement in Dracula's creation, there is also implications that the Great Evil didn't give him all those resources to star this plot.
- Here We Go Again!: Helsing considers this situation this.
- Kill It with Fire: Basil does this ALOT against his foes here.
- Mad Scientist Laboratory: The lair of Lycos.
- Off with His Head! / Your Head Asplode: Lycos slashes one of the pillbugs in the head. This causes quite a mess.
- Rolling Attack: The pillbugs sport this.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: Lycos and his lab.
- Sequel Hook: Lycos seems to still be alive after the experience. And electricity might come into play.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Finn and Basil when they realize they have to fight, [[Blood Knight, though Finn adjusts quite nicely.]] Also, when the pillbugs are mutated.
- Vagueness Is Coming: The Great Evil is once again foreshadowed.
