everything's g̷o̶i̵n̶g̸ to be just f̶̄͜ȉ̴̜͎̠̞̫̩͉͌̔̂̏͝n̶̩͂͑̇̓͘ë̵̛͈͎̝̽́̓

Lawyer Kong is just one step away from getting rid of SMG4's channel for good; all he needs is Miyamoto to sign his super DMCA... unless the Mario Bros can convince him that Non-Nintendo characters are decent enough game material. Meanwhile, SMG4 and Meggy finally find a new law to let them back in the Mushroom Kingdom, but can they have it passed in time?

The fifth episode of the Lawsuit Arc.

  • Anti-Villain: The only reason Miyamoto agrees with Lawyer Kong to sign a DMCA is because of the corruption that caused Mario to become what he is today.
  • Blank White Eyes: Everyone killed by the DMCA has these.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Lawyer Kong manages to get Shigeru Miyamoto to sign the DMCA, getting rid of all of the non-Nintendo characters, also getting Mario and Luigi back in the process at the end of the episode.
  • Call-Back: The games made by Mario's friends are presented in exactly the same way as the rejected games from "SMG4 🅴🆇🅿🅰🅽🅳🆂 His Brain".
  • Died in Your Arms Tonight: Meggy is the last of the crew to die, having held on long enough to tell Mario that she enjoyed their friendship together.
  • Downer Ending: Miyamoto is unconvinced by the piss-poor games the OCs made, and he ultimately signs the DMCA, with Lawyer Kong stopping Meggy from saving the day by smacking the parody law contract out of her hands. The entire original cast, Meggy included, slump over dead, as the usual grim, silent credits for sad arc episodes roll.
  • Go Out with a Smile: Meggy smiles as she tells Mario she's glad they met, dying as she barely manages to hug him.
  • Hope Spot: Meggy and SMG4 race back back with their solution to end the arc once for all. But just as the former leaps towards the judge, Lawyer Kong blocks her path and smacks the documents out of her hands, enabling Miyamoto to complete the DMCA signing.
  • Idiot Ball: Meggy, for whatever reason, decides to take a picture with the serial killer category on Wikipedia. She finds out the hard way that those serial killers aren't statues, but alive and dangerous.
  • Nightmare Fetishist: Meggy of all people decides to take a picture with the representations of serial killers under their Wikipedia category (which unfortunately, turn out to be real).
  • Sole Survivor: Being the Author Avatar of the entire series, SMG4 is the only non-Nintendo character to not be killed by the DMCA by the end of the episode.
  • We Need a Distraction: Mario and Luigi tempt Miyamoto with some new game ideas created using the SMG4 cast of characters in order to buy Meggy and SMG4 enough time to try and stop Lawyer Kong from having the Super DMCA signed.
  • The Worf Effect: It doesn't matter how strong you are. If a DMCA is signed and you aren't a Nintendo character, you die.
  • You Are Too Late: Meggy attempts to give Judge Kirby the documents and stop Miyamoto from signing the DMCA, but Lawyer Kong stopped her from doing so and Miyamoto finished signing the DMCA.
