Tropes

• All-Natural Gem Polish: Captain Mutiny's slaves are forced to mine gold coins and cut gemstones. Yeah.
• Big Damn Heroes:
  • Mike prevents Captain Mutiny from firing on the Astro Megaship.
  • After Mike is knocked out, the Magna Defender's ghost appears to rouse him back into action and help the others escape the Lost Galaxy.
• Big "WHAT?!": Captain Mutiny when Trakeena begins her attack.
• Brought Down to Normal: Mike sacrifices his Magna Defender powers to keep the portal open.
• Eviler than Thou: The minute Captain Mutiny follows the Rangers out of the Lost Galaxy, Trakeena blows him out of the sky.

  • Also, earlier in the episode, a slave named Haley gives one to all new slaves in the camp urging them to dig and work hard to protect Mike from being attacked by Barbarax after he finds his empty bucket.
• Shut Up, Kirk!: Mike prevents Captain Mutiny from opening fire on the Astro Megaship long enough for it to get to safety.
  Mike: They're out of your firing range.
  Captain Mutiny: They may be, but you're not!
• Slave Liberation: The rangers free all the slaves from Captain Mutiny's camp and take them back to Terra Venture.
• So Proud of You: The original Magna Defender congratulates Mike for serving the legacy with honor.
• Trojan Prisoner: Mike decides to pull this gambit.
• Working on the Chain Gang: While captured in Captain Mutiny's slave camp, Mike is forced to dig up for jewels while chained to a female slave named Haley.
