Choc-o-Dile Blues is the twenty-second mission of Moshi Monsters and the second mission of Season Three.

Part One Recap

It begins with Elder Furi asking the Super Moshi if they have heard about the chocolate eggs. Click on "I'm not sure?". He tells you that there has been a shortage of them and he's suspicious so you should investigate the Chocolate Refinery on Main Street and to bring him any chocolate eggs you find.

On Main Street, click the entrance to the disco (where the flashing lights are) to get an E.P.I.C.S., then click on the "keep out" sign. A worker tells you not to go in there as the refinery is off limits even for Super Moshis. If you tell him it's important, he will say that an individual named Biggie Diddles III ordered him not to let you in. If you ask why he looks so sad, he says that he is hungry because it is lunchtime and he left his sandwiches at home. If you click on the blue worker, he says he can't talk as he has to drill. Talk to Judder (the Unhinged Jackhammer). He wonders why you need to distract the workers and tell him that you need to get into the Chocolate Refinery. He is happy to help as maybe he will get chocolate eggs and so he jumps into your inventory (which you can access by clicking on the blue bag on the far right). Drag him from the inventory onto the blue worker. Judder spirals out of control with the blue worker, leaving just the hungry one. Click on all the food lying around to make him a sandwich. Drag the sandwich to the worker and he will accept it. Now, click to enter the refinery.

In the refinery, no chocolate is being made, so try to get it flowing. One machine is off but the buttons don't do anything. There are valves, but they are missing their wheels. Click the wheels, open your inventory and drag them onto the valves whose colours match. Now, click the wheels to turn them. This makes chocolate. Now, it's time to make some eggs. Click on the machines to switch them on. However, some ninja glumps arrive and then it goes dark.

Part Two Recap

The next thing you know, the Glumps (sans Fishlips and a Moshling named Marcel, have left you in an egg mold. Click on Marcel. He wonders what you're doing there. Tell him that you woke up there. Ask who he is and he will tell you that he's the Glumps' "chocolate adviser". He's willing to help, but only if you answer his questions: which bean is chocolate made from? (the cocoa bean), which is not a type of chocolate (grey chocolate), and which is chocolate normally in the form of? (a chocolate bar). The filler then starts to fill up, ready to put chocolate in the mould. Click on all the chocolate eggs, open your inventory and drag them onto Fishlips. He will eat them, then fall asleep because too many snacks make Glumps sleepy. The chocolate lands on the Super Moshi, so click it to have Marcel eat enough of it for them to escape. Then, you ask to be taken to Biggie Diddles III to inform him about the Glumps.

Part Three Recap

In his mansion, it's revealed that Biggie Diddles III hired the Glumps, but he's not happy with them. He leaves, then you and Marcel arrive, Marcel notes it's strange that Biggie is not home. Collect an E.P.I.C.S. from the statue next to the map. If you click on a switch, a red light appears on a picture. Click on the pictures that reveal gems. Now, open your inventory and put the gems in the holes that go with their shape. Now, click the switch again, which makes lasers bounce off them, revealing a key. Click the key and use it to open the door that looks like a chocolate bar. It reveals a lot of chocolate eggs.

They come to the conclusion that Biggie Diddles III is hoarding them and go to the refinery. The Glumps tell Biggie Diddles II what happened, then leave. Click on Biggie Diddles III to have Marcel talk to him. He wants to turn Marcel into a chocolate statue. If he asks who will clean his mansion, Biggie will say that he can hire another Moshling. If Marcel asks who will advise him on the chocolate, Biggie will say he doesn't need any more "advise", but if you have Marcel tell Biggie Diddles III he has new ideas for chocolate egg flavors, he will listen. While Marcel lists flavors, find and click on a remote control, then push the buttons to move the filler above Biggie and cover him in chocolate. Your Super Moshi chews him out, and Marcel asks if he can go with you, so you can click on him to adopt him.

Tropes

• Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Rocco and Judder wear hats, the Super Moshi wears a cape, mask and belt and Fishlips wears a mask that covers his whole body.
• Animate Inanimate Object: Judder, a talking jackhammer, is seen.
• Big "OMG!": The Super Moshi and Marcel both shout, "OMG!" upon finding the safe full of chocolate eggs.
• Cartoon Creature: The construction workers (or "roarkers" as the dialogue calls them) are strange creatures who look vaguely humanoid but don't have a recognizable species.
• Delicious Distraction: Exploited several times.
  • In Part One, the Super Moshis distract a worker by making him a sandwich.
  • In Part Two, the Super Moshis distract a Glump by feeding him chocolate eggs (which eventually make him fall asleep).
  • In Part Three, Marcel distracts Biggie Diddles III by talking about food (specifically chocolate egg flavors.)
• The Ditz: The Glumps are dopey enough to leave a Moshling (who reform easily) and a Glump (who's easily distracted, has a Sweet Tooth, and who gets sleepy upon eating too much) in charge.
• Extra Eyes: One of the workers has three eyes.
• Fat Bastard: Biggie Diddles III is quite round and extremely greedy.
• Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: Biggie Diddles III and the workers all wear shirts, pants and shoes.
• Funny Animal: Biggie Diddles III and Marcel are anthropomorphic crocodiles.
• Gratuitous French: Marcel sometimes puts random French words like "le" and "non" into his speech.
• The Guards Must Be Crazy: Fishlips allows himself to eat chocolate eggs instead of keeping watch and doesn't stop when they start to make him sleepy.
• Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: Marcel wears a fancy suit jacket but no pants.
• Hammerspace: Near the end, Marcel produces a sandwich on a fancy tray out of nowhere.
• Meaningful Name:
  • Judder, well, judders a lot.
  • Fishlips has fishlike lips.
• Mister Strangenoun: Judder's name is a word, Fishlips's is two words, and Biggie Diddles III has "big" in his name.
• My Species Doth Protest Too Much: Implied. Marcel's biography says his species in general are extremely rude on purpose, but Marcel himself is never impolite.
• Red Is Heroic: Your Super Moshi wears a red cape and mask.
• Superheroes Wear Capes: Your Super Moshi wears its cape.
• Sweet Tooth: Biggie Diddles III hoards chocolate eggs, Fishlips likes candy, the worker eats chocolate on a sandwich, and Judder is willing to help because he might get chocolate.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Glumps fall asleep upon consuming enough of any food.
