After the defeat of Olteca and the disappearance of Giff's body, the Igarashi family go back to business as usual. Daiji gets news that Hiromi is actually alive, having returned back to his hometown in Miyagi Prefecture. Ikki and Daiji go and meet him, only to find out that Hiromi has lost his memories from his time in Fenix. To jog his memories, the Igarashi siblings and George decide to create a movie, albeit with some strange additions along the way...

Tropes

  • All for Nothing: The effort of the Igarashi siblings and George to create a video to crank memories of Hiromi turns out to be useless from the start as DEAR GAGA reveals that Hiromi was just faking his amnesia.
  • Breaking the Fellowship: The Igarashi siblings decide to split up for the time-being, in order to find a way to defeat Giff and Akaishi.
    • Ikki stays at Happy Spa to protect what's left of his family that's still staying there.
    • Daiji decides to focus on his work at Fenix, hoping to reform it from the inside, while unaware that Akaishi plans to groom him to become Olteca's successor.
    • Sakura leaves home to join Weekend, believing the best way for her to grow as a fighter is to be independent and step out of her brothers' shadows.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: George directly addresses the audience before the episode switches over to his portion of the recap, complete with a Kamen Rider logo as a wipe. Daiji clearly has no idea who he's talking to, while Ikki and Vice can only stare on in surprise.
  • Breather Episode: After the plethora of plot-heavy Wham Episodes that have occurred over the 2nd arc, this episode's prelude to the 3rd arc kicks off with lighter, comedy-filled episode focused on George and the Igarashi siblings making a movie to get Hiromi's memories back.
  • Brick Joke: Tamaki has been chasing after Aguilera since she walked off last episode, and returns to the bathhouse an even bigger sobbing mess than usual due to being unable to find her. Sakura eventually gets fed up with this and makes him quietly kneel on the ground alongside Ikki and Vice.
  • Hidden Depths: Vice of all people is revealed to have some serious skill with video editing, combining the Igarashi siblings' crappy message to Hiromi and footage of previous episodes into a successful viral video in just one day, complete with effects and custom graphics.
  • History Repeats: This isn't the first time a Kamen Rider show had an episode about making a film and involving characters needing to kneel down.
  • Hopeless with Tech: Ironically, Ikki seems to have no idea how a computer works at all, randomly pecking at the keyboard and holding the mouse up like a TV remote, which ends up erasing all the footage data that had been edited thus far, including Vice's video.
  • Instant Web Hit: Vice fulfills Genta's longtime goal of becoming a viral content creator in the span of a single day just by posting footage of himself and the Igarashi siblings online. The video is able to generate thousands of hits and likes within a few seconds of uploading, which is unfortunate since all the footage is actually owned by Fenix and otherwise considered highly classified.
  • Internal Reveal: George picks up a family picture of the Igarashis, smiling at it... and then to his shock, Ikki starts fading away from the picture, an occurence that only Vice knew of prior.
  • Late-Arrival Spoiler: Hiromi's survival was already revealed over a month ago with the announcement of the spin-off DEAR GAGA.
  • Recap Episode:
    • The various montages the siblings and George create serve to recap what has happened in the series so far - albeit in some very contrasting ways. Vice creates a montage that focuses mostly on him while the siblings are sidelines, Daiji and Sakura highlight Hiromi's feats over the course of the series, and George has a workout video starring himself on hand that summarizes all of Revice's most recent forms.
    • Meanwhile, Akaishi summarizes all of the Deadmans' feats over the course of the series to Giff and a slumbering horde of True Gifftarians, ready to take the next move.
    • George naturally has no footage of Weekend and is in no rush to visit them to get some with his father there, so their actions are instead recapped through Sakura's Internal Monologue.
  • The Reveal: Hiromi was actually given the Demons Driver on Akaishi's orders, using George's Kamen Rider research as a pretense. Vail is somehow a vital piece of the Deadmans' plans, and they needed him awake and free of the Driver.
  • Running Gag: Anytime one of the characters does something wrong, the others decide to shame them by making them kneel while wearing a sign. Ikki was shamed for getting too involved to the point where he deleted a montage, Vice was shamed for uploading his montage without their permission, and Tamaki was shamed for not shutting up about Aguilera.
  • Tempting Fate: George warns the Igarashi siblings that the footage they are using is owned by Fenix, so it has to remain between them and Hiromi. Immediately after he says that Vice accidentally uploads it to a YouTube analog, where it immediately goes viral.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: The A Plot is focused on the Igarashi siblings and George creating a movie to help jog Hiromi's memories from his time in Fenix. The B Plot is focused on Akaishi monologuing what the Deadmans have done so far to Giff, who currently lies in an unknown dimension.
  • Wham Shot: A newly revived Giff silently listening to Akaishi's recap from some unknown dimension, surrounded by dozens of hibernating True Gifftarians.
