<DGP NETWORK ACCESS HACKED>
"Didn't you get eliminated?! Where did you drop in from?!"
Michinaga: I'm just here to crush all Kamen Riders. I don't give a damn about being a player.
"You're causing quite the stir among the audience."
Michinaga: The audience? To hell with them! Just you watch — I'll massacre every Kamen Rider you back!
<PLEASE STAND BY>

As the Time Bomb game continues, Sae learns to her horror that her family is the next one targeted. She immediately rushes off to save them, only to be accosted by Michinaga, who has decided to throw in his lot with the Jyamato side.

It is at that moment that a new Kamen Rider, Gazer, appears. But is he friend or foe?

Tropes

  • Big Damn Heroes: Neon for Sae, twice.
  • The Bus Came Back: After disappearing completely after Buffa used it near the end of the Scheme Arc, the Feverslot Buckle makes its comeback. Similarly, the Vision Driver makes a comeback, though used by not just a new user, but also a new Rider.
  • Conflict Ball: Chirami had purposely left Neon's Desastar Card out in the open simply in the hopes that someone would find it to stir more drama for the show, which ended in Sae finding out Neon was the Desastar and taking the heat for her at the end of the round.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Niram, as Kamen Rider Gazer, unleashes one on Buffa. Buffa only manages to survive due to using the Zombie Buckle at the last second to trigger his Resurrective Immortality.
  • Discard and Draw: After losing the Zombie Buckle to Buffa, Lopo later swipes the Feverslot Buckle from Tycoon.
  • Executive Meddling: An In-Universe example occurs with Sae discovering that Neon is the Desastar. Something that only occurs thanks to producer Chirami leaving Neon's Desastar Card out in the open for Sae to find for the sake of making things more interesting. Sae's elimination comes as a direct result of said meddling thanks to her decision to take the fall for Neon.
  • Foreshadowing: With the context of the Desire Grand Prix being a reality show, the scene where Sae outs herself as the Desastar to both Neon and then to the other Riders would have caused red flags to go off for the drama-loving Game Master and anyone else running the Desastar subplot for Sae essentially blowing it out in the open like that... had Sae been the Desastar to begin with.
  • Once More, with Clarity: A flashback occurs regarding to the apple bomb that exploded in front of Ace and Keiwa in the previous episode. This time, Neon's whereabouts are shown, and she's in a much better position to toss that bomb compared to Sae.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Ace decides to let Keiwa have the Feverslot Buckle which was part of his reward for clearing a secret mission.
    • Ace stops Michinaga from attacking the Riders by contacting Niram. Niram however allows Michinaga to come back after the latter proves his worth.
    • Neon saves Sae and her family at the last moment despite not being required to do so as the Desastar.
  • Promotion, Not Punishment: Niram allows Michinaga to keep the Zombie Buckle and officially return to the DGP after coming to the conclusion that the latter's Heroic Willpower and ability to survive against all odds and come Back from the Dead time and time again is his special talent and thus a "reality" in itself.
  • Red Herring: Turns out the Desastar card was Neon's, which Sae found in her belongings and decides to take the heat instead.
  • The Reveal:
    • Niram informs those working in the DGP are "not of this age", which is how they can reshape the world.
    • Daichi is revealed to be working alongside Michinaga and Beroba, having somehow re-obtained his ID Core thanks to the latter.
    • Beroba reveals that the Jyamato's goal is to obtain the "Goddess of Creation".
  • Victim of the Week: This time, it's Sae's family that has to be rescued from the Jyamato bomb.
  • We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties: The Cold Open has the DGP getting hacked in order to show Michinaga's interview, resulting in one.
  • Wham Episode: Neon is revealed to actually be the Desastar, not Sae, and she takes the fall for Neon so she could continue with the game.
