Written By:Shogo Muto
Directed By: Satoshi Morota

Sento: A civil war has erupted over the incredible energy hidden within Pandora’s Box. In order to fight off an invasion by Seito, Kamen Rider Build aka Kiryuu Sento has retrieved Pandora’s Box, but the conflict only grows more intense. Amidst it all, the prime minister of Touto, Himuro Taizan, is abducted by Seito.
Ryuga: A-are we not gonna mention how I might not be human?
Sento: Listen, the leader of a sovereign nation was kidnapped. No one cares about that old news anymore.
Ryuga: Old news?! I thought it was the biggest news of last week!
Sento: Will the prime minister survive? What will happen on Episode 33?
Ryuga: I’m seriously gonna cry here dude.

With Prime Minister Himuro kidnapped, the protagonists are at a loss for what to do until Evolt calls for the Evol Driver. What is this device, and what will the protagonists do once they have it?

Episode Tropes:

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Gentoku calls Sento while at his lowest point to help him deal with the chip implant, all so that he could go save his father. Fortunately, Sento does help Gentoku, and changes the signal that would be required to activate the implant.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Despite the heroes' best efforts, Evolt gets his Evol Driver back and Taizan dies Taking the Bullet for Gentoku.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Gentoku comes back alone early into the episode to his father's holding cell, and while it looked like he was going to shoot his father through the prison bars, instead shoots down the lock and helps his father escape.
  • Crazy-Prepared: Despite Gentoku picking a good time to break his father out of his jail, Blood Stalk was on standby nearby and was prepared to use a second remote to trigger Gentoku's kill chip the moment Gentoku dropped his guard, allowing him and Utsumi to recapture Taizan and leave Gentoku defeated and helpless.
    • Later into the episode, Blood Stalk prepared for additional backup coming to help Sento and Ryuga, but then Kazumi drops in after Gentoku intervenes and helps Taizan escape the warehouse they were in. Stalk had counted with three riders, not four.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Evolt's Kamen Rider Evol form is statistically just a tiny bit more powerful than TankTank and Cross-Z Magma, which is bad news since his only opposition at the time is Rogue.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The entire reason Gentoku started Faust to begin with? To unite the people of Japan under one banner before setting up a situation so that his father could become the prime minister of a newly united Japan.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Gentoku has actually done this a long time ago during the Rogue mini-arc, with the exposure to Nebula Gas that made him into a Kamen Rider negating the megalomania and heightened aggression that came from his initial exposure to Pandora's Box.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight: Sento realizes the Evol Driver was actually with them for the longest time when looking at the blueprints for the Evol Driver, hidden inside the conversion machine that Misora has been using to create Fullbottles this entire time.
  • Hostage Situation: Evolt calls early into the episode demanding the Evol Driver, which the nascita gang obviously never knew about until now, within 24 hours or else he will kill Prime Minister Himuro.
  • Idiot Ball: Misora runs towards her dad after Gentoku defeats Evolt with a Crack Up Finish to see if he's okay, but she's doing this despite knowing they're in enemy territory and her father has been possessed by Evolt for quite some time now. This slip up allowed her to be briefly captured by Utsumi, who then steals and gives Evolt the repaired Evol Driver.
  • Kill Him Already!: While the nascita gang were preoccupied with the Evol Driver, the Nanba faction already planned to kill Taizan to put Touto in disarray once they get their hands on the Evol Driver.
  • Mundane Utility: The Evol Driver is the single most powerful weapon in the series, capable of channeling the full strength of the Pandora Box and even restructuring the entire universe in the right hands. Sento was using its broken halves as a battery. Granted, he didn't know anything back then.
  • Oh, Crap!: Evolt manages to get his hands on the repaired Evol Driver.
  • Taking the Bullet: Evolt was going to kill Gentoku with a Evoltech Finish after forcibly disengaging Gentoku's transformation. Unfortunately, Taizan runs and puts himself between the attack and Gentoku, and dies after telling Gentoku to atone for his sins by reunifying Japan in Taizan's stead.
  • The Reveal: This episode reveals that Evolt is indeed the one who has been possessing Soichi for the past ten years, along with the fact that Shinobu Katsuragi has met Evolt and was supposed to repair the Evol Driver for him. Additionally, not only was the Build Driver based on the Evol Driver, the Evol Driver also allows the user to tap into the full potential of Pandora's Box. Furthermore, it turns out that Gentoku's personality changing after becoming Kamen Rider Rogue is because he is no longer affected by the Sky Wall Incident.
