After coming across a mysterious tunnel in the middle of the desert, the kids go through and end up in a forest. However, this new island has more secrets, including dinosaurs and other people...

  • Animal Lover: The Kids meet Dr. Mae Turner, a Behavioural Paleoneurobiologist who cares greatly about the welfare of the dinosaurs she is studying.
  • Answer Cut: When Dr. Turner notes one of the B.R.A.D.s intends to use the "Elimination Protocol", Darius asks what that is. Cut to the B.R.A.D. frying the unlucky Compy with a powerful taser.
  • Cave Behind the Falls: Dr. Turner lives in one, though it's actually a large, locked artificial cave linked up to the rest of the island's infrastructure.
  • Closed Circle: Dr. Turner explains that despite the island's advanced tech, it's such a secret research area that there aren't any phones or internet connections off the island. The campers still have no way to contact anyone.
  • Emerging from the Shadows: At the very end of the episode, the B.R.A.D.s' creator is introduced to the audience with most of his features in shadow.
  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Despite having largely led the rest of the campers to safety during their time on Isla Nublar, Darius is overjoyed to meet Dr. Turner, as he apparently read a book she wrote on dinosaur brains.
  • Knockout Gas: When it looks like Big Eatie and Little Eatie might seriously injure each other, Dr. Turner summons a B.R.A.D. that sprays a thick yellowish gas all around them. The rexes collapse under Instant Sedation.
  • Mecha-Mooks: Mantah Corp have dozens of robotic watchdogs called B.R.A.D.s (Bio-Robotic Assistant Droids) that patrol the islands biomes, the kids soon discover that they are programmed to “terminate” any unauthorised lifeforms when they witness a B.R.A.D. kill the stowaway Compsognathus.
  • Mistaken for Flirting: Yaz's attempts at helping Kenji by keeping Ben occupied elsewhere are misinterpreted as flirting attempts by Ben. When Ben tries to let her down gently, she's dumbfounded.
  • Monster Is a Mommy: Mae reveals to the kids that one of the islands two T-rexes is actually the mother of the other, showing the first Tyrannosaurus family group since the The Lost World.
  • Off with His Head!: Kenji bashes a B.R.A.D.'s head off with a frying pan.
  • Out-of-Character Alert: While Dr.Turner watches the Tyrannosaurs eating, they suddenly start acting extremely aggressive and attack each other out of nowhere. She's baffled, but is running brain scans at the same times and notes their brain chemistry is completely off...
  • Saying Too Much: Dr. Turner runs her mouth off a little too easily, giving the campers more information than they should know - such as how they got the Tyrannosaurus duo from Isla Sorna.
  • Shipper on Deck: Yaz tries to help Kenji flirt with Brooklynn as his "wingman", but Kenji is more annoyed than anything by her efforts.
  • So Crazy, It Must Be True: Dr. Turner initially suspects the campers of being spies, but believes their story of being refugees from Isla Nublar because their story is so ridiculous they wouldn't have made it up.
  • There Is Another: This episode presents two new T-Rex’s nicknamed Little Eatie and Big Eatie, confirming that Rexy is not (yet) the last of her kind.
