While the pursuing E750 and a new revelation both threaten to tear the campers apart, Bumpy is found and Darius and Ben make a new discovery about her.
- Fighting the Lancer: Ben ditches the rest of the group, as he’s decided to stay on the island and live with Bumpy. He and Darius come to blows over this, as the others can’t imagine why he'd want to stay.
- Foreboding Fleeing Flock: A herd of the glowing Parasaurolophus from within the caves nearly trample the campers in their hurry to flee the Scorpios rex.
- Foreshadowing: At one point, Darius notes that if the others had to deal with the Scorpios rex attacking the Parasaurolophus herd and he had to deal with it attacking an Ankylosaurus herd quite some distance away just a couple minutes later, it must be able to move incredibly quickly. It turns out that there’s actually two of them.
- I Choose to Stay: Ben has decided to stay on the island, deciding it's where he finally found himself and changed for the better. The others are dumbfounded by this.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: The Scorpios rex finally comes across dinosaurs it can’t best: Bumpy and a whole herd of Ankylosaurus. The monster gives it a shot, but leaves when the armored herbivores completely No-Sell its claws, fangs, and venomous spines.
- The Load: Sammy becomes this for Yaz, Kenji, and Brooklynn during their run to the boat, as even with the antidote, she’s still dealing with the fallout of the Scorpios rex venom in her system. Until the end of the episode, she can barely even stand up.
- Look Behind You: Darius heads off into the jungle to look for Ben, ditching the others using this trick.
- Missed Him by That Much: Ben and Darius are just a little too late to the docks to reconnect with the others, and it looks like they were left behind on Isla Nublar again.
- Shoo the Dog: Ben admits that Bumpy will be happier with a herd of Ankylosaurus than with him, and sadly lets her go. Downplayed in that he still has a close bond with her, but she won’t be hanging around with him most of the time anymore.
- Take My Hand!: While looking for Ben in the jungle, Darius finds himself on the edge of a cliff. It collapses under his weight, and he begins to fall… but Ben grabs his arm and pulls him up.
- Temper-Ceratops: Darius comes across a Sinoceratops with a Scorpios rex quill in its tail. He yanks it out… and the Sinoceratops promptly turns and charges him.
- There Is Another: At the very end, Darius and Ben are horrified to learn that there is a second Scorpios rex, every bit as vicious and unstable as the first.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: Sammy throws up as soon as she gets on the boat, marking her full recovery from the Scorpios rex venom.
- We Want Our Jerk Back!: Yaz being sweet and perky, even for the sake of helping Sammy along, is so unnerving that the others are soon begging her to be her usual snarky, deadpan self.
- Wham Shot: At the very end of the episode, Darius and Ben are cornered by the Scorpios rex… and then a SECOND one stalks out from behind a tree nearby.
