Flippy runs the library and enjoys the silence, but when Mime, Nutty, and Sniffles test his sanity by making noise, Fliqpy emerges to give them some discipline.
"Random Acts of Silence" contains the following:
- Bait-and-Switch: When Mime annoys Flippy by loudly trying to sharpen a pencil, Flippy approaches him and takes out a machete... that he uses to sharpen the pencil for Mime.
- A Day In The Lime Light: While not a starring character, Mime gets way more screen time compared to his other roles after the TV series.
- Eye Scream:
- Sniffles gets his eyes pierced by pencils from the back of his head by Fliqpy.
- Fliqpy gives Mime a paper cut on his cornea.
- Flayed Alive: Fliqpy spins Mime in a swivel chair and uses his machete to skin him.
- Irony:
- The fact that Mime of all characters is the one who keeps making so much noise in the library.
- After observing Mime repeatedly testing Flippy's patience, Sniffles and Nutty decide to leave before the inevitable happens. In doing so, they inadvertently make the inevitable happen when Nutty accidentally sets off the library's alarm.
- Karma Houdini: Once again, Fliqpy gets away with killing people for minor problems.
- Library Episode: Where the setting takes place.
- Ludicrous Gibs: Nutty is forced through a pencil sharpener and sliced into bits.
- New Jobs As The Plot Demands: Flippy is a librarian.
- One-Eyed Shot: Flippy's flip-out in this episode is shot like this.
- Scary Librarian: Once Flippy flips out into his Fliqpy persona, he'll make sure that everyone in the library stays quiet. For good.
- Tap on the Head: Fliqpy knocks Nutty out by throwing a book at his head. He then stuffs the squirrel's arm in the pencil sharpener and waits for him to wake up before sharpening him to death.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Sniffles, Nutty, and Mime die.
- Throw the Book at Them: Fliqpy throws a book at Nutty to knock him out, then sets up his death while he's unconscious.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Flippy and Flaky survive. To be specific, the former spares the latter.
