Five years after the final battle with the "Mimetic Beasts", retired pilot Goh Saruwatari is getting married to Anna Aoi. However, he is called again to fend off another invasion of the Mimetic Beasts. Anna soon ends up piloting a mecha sealed after Mira Ackerman's death and decides to join in the fight to stop the Mimetic Beasts.
