Prepared? Situatedproceed!

  • 555: John's Porta Terlettes has this kind of number printed on their products.
  • Bowdlerise: This part features a "bloodless" version linked in its description, where two bloody deaths from the original are made into Bloodless Carnage.
  • Body Horror: What happens when Sabrina drinks a potion of generation in death 17.
  • Deliberate VHS Quality: Death 50 is designed to look like a PSA from the 1970s–90s.
  • Felony Misdemeanor: A Running Gag in this video shows a police officer enforcing the laws of a "No Passing Zone". Unfortunately, the cop is Literal-Minded, so anything from passing a test, to passing a basketball, to passing waste in a porta-potty is punishable by death (though the latter is only implied).
  • Forced Transformation: In Death 8, Breadstick puts on a Fire Resistance 255 chestplate and turns into water.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Deaths 29 and 30: Snake fails to determine how far the blast from his TNT prank would reach, and he gets caught in the explosion along with his victim, Norman298.
  • Lame Pun Reaction: Death 41: Jake gets pelted to death with tomatoes after cracking a joke about an avocado from Nevada, or as he puts it: a "Nevada-cado". Even Redstone Ned is not amused.
  • Living Shadow: Death 27: When Brandon turns Entity Shadows to "Bloodthirsty", his shadow becomes alive and slays him.
  • Portal Cut: A variation: In Death 12, JumberLack eats half a chorus fruit, causing only half his body to teleport.
  • Reality-Breaking Paradox: Death 16: Brandon tries to download some mods, but discovers the dependency list goes on so long that it loops back to the original mod he was trying to download, causing a black hole to open and suck him up due to this infinite and recursive mod tree.
  • Running Gag: Some returning ones, and some news ones as well.
    • SabrinaTheNewAgeWitch's gag of her dying by drinking random potions returns. In Deaths 4 through 6, she's drinking Damage Potions, first a normal one, a delayed one, and then a preemptive one, which kills her before she drinks it. In Death 17, she drinks a Generation Potion, causing four extra limbs and a disfigured head to grow out of her body, causing her to jump off a building to her death.
    • A police officer violently (and literally) enforcing the laws of a "No Passing Zone". See Felony Misdemeanor above.
    • FinnTheWinn is still having trouble with falling down ravines, sand-covered, powdered-snow-covered, or otherwise. It gets so bad that he becomes an astronaut solely so he can't fall down any kinds of holes, and he still dies to one: a black hole.
    • People chestbumping much stronger people and getting sent flying.
  • Russian Reversal: Done subtly in Death 28, "Encountering Bacon in Soviet Nether."
  • Spoof Aesop: Instead of a anti-drug message, Death 50 is apparently about the moral of "Peer is a totally real name".
  • Shout-Out:
  • Too Dumb to Live: Stu, but surprisingly, only once! For death 42, he tries to take a swim in lava believing Netherite Armor will let him survive it.
  • Unrealistic Black Hole: Averted. While the black hole in Death 48 doesn't look completely accurate, the effects that it has on Finn's ship are, with it becoming spaghettified and turning redder as it gets closer, something that is largely believed to happen when falling into a black hole.
  • Visual Pun: Death 50 is peer pressure. Not getting pressured into sniffing cheese powder, but getting crushed to death by an Iron Golem named Peer.
