Discord Murder Fest is a fan version of Discord Murder Party, a role-playing version of games Werewolf, Mafia and their variants streamed by Onyx Roman on his Twitch channel and then transferred to his Youtube channel. This fan series started on August 25th, 2018 and currently has six scenarios. Unlike some fan versions of various pieces of entertainment, this one features one of the cast members of the original reprising their role, in this case Queen Creeps as Grace Garden.

Discord Murder Fest contains example of:

  • Accidental Misnaming: The first scenario in the debut stream has some characters refer to Grace Garden as "Grace Gardens."
  • Asshole Victim: Anthony "Cain" Laughton, innocent but tried to assault Grace before execution. Even his actor thinks this guy is a bastard.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: The Murder God's followers make up one with the Lieutenant being their leader.
  • Bigfoot, Sasquatch and Yeti: The killers/werewolves/whatever of the debut scenario were Sasquatch.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Of the Followers that would be the Part Timer who took part in a scenario as "Prickly Tim", a talking fish.
  • Corpsing: Usually from Queen but others get in on the act too. Prickly Tim's appearance caused an incredible amount.
  • Ensemble Cast: Due to being a fan version this means that the cast is ever changing with the occasional case of recurring actors. The main stays so far are the Followers with Grace having appeared in three of the six scenarios.

  • Evil Laugh: Downplayed. In the second scenario of the second stream Cain gives an evil chuckle. Why? He is the witch and without them they can't get into the medical bay so he successfully screwed them over. Granted, his "triumph" is rather pointless as Grace didn't care because he tried to assault her and the Captain generally thinking it was best he wasn't on the ship.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: The Murder God has not appeared in person so far and instead her followers are the ones in charge of the games but she is mentioned a few times.
  • Hero of Another Story: In a manner of speaking, Grace is even if she does not hold the title of "Hero" in Discord Murder Party she is technically one of the heroes of the story and has made mention of Vincent, who does hold the title of "Hero" in "Party."
  • Medieval European Fantasy: The setting of the first scenario of the second stream.

  • Oh, Crap!: Stream 3 Scenario 2, everyone thinks Peter Benchley is the shark cultist because he is a bit too torn up about a dead baby horn shark. He has a heart attack, everyone finds out they were about to hang an innocent and basically have this reaction to discovering that the shark cultist is still among them.
  • One Steve Limit: Averted with there having been a Peter Truney in one scenario and a Peter Benchley in another.
  • Our Angels Are Different: Fallen Angels take the role of the murderers in the second scenario. They are basically the traditional interpretation of how angels look, white wings and all.
  • Red Herring: Anthony "Cain" Laughton and Peter Benchley for their respective scenarios, both respectively played by Bryan.
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: Brian de Bois-Guilbert in the first scenario of the second stream. He is plagued by nightmares from wars he fought in and these ultimately get him picked out as a murderer. Ironically, he is the seer.
  • Shout-Out: Bryan has a tendency to do this with his characters sharing names with fictional characters such as Brian de Bois-Guilbert from Ivanhoe, Cain has the alias of "John Lawrence" who is a character from The Man From Planet X, the name of "Don Maxwell" belongs to a character from Maniac (1934) and in a change one of the characters he has played has had the name of Jaws creator Peter Benchley.
  • Token Evil Teammate: Anthony "Cain" Laughton from the second scenario of the second stream, if Asshole Victim and Evil Laugh didn't tip you off.
  • Villain of Another Story: The Murder God, she might be the one the Followers worship but they are also independent of her. As the Lieutenant himself put it: "she has no power here."
  • Winged Humanoid: The Lieutenant has black feathered wings.

How well does it match the trope?
